Valon Salon & Day Spa

I have been a client of Claudia, Massage Therapist for 3 years. She is professional, kind and very skilled at pinpointing your specific area of pain or discomfort. My career as a RN has created many long term physical issues in my neck and back. Claudia has been able to identify and work on these areas and bring relief! I am a loyal customer and highly recommend her services.

I had the most amazing first time massage with Claudia today! She was very skilled and thorough and now I'm pleasantly relaxed and refreshed from head to toe. My sciatica was tight and all tension is gone. She knows all the pressure points and circles back to repeat different areas as needed. I look forward to the next massage!

Wonderful, welcoming place. Staff were relaxed, helpful and, attentive. After several bad experiences at other salons - one on the eve of my son's wedding - and an extended period of Covid-driven neglect, I was pretty timid when I arrived. But in no time, the staff and my stylist Brady drew me out and made me feel comfortable. Brady applied her talent and creativity to create the perfect style for me. She showed me that my cut was versatile and could work straight or curly. I couldn't be happier! Thank you!

I was very pleased with Valon Salon. More than any salon I've been to before, the staff at Valon Salon was interested in what I wanted, and Kayla did a very good job of giving me the haircut I hoped for (from a photo I brought in). She took a lot of time getting it right, resulting in a haircut that looks great and is easy to care for, too! 've had a lot of so-so experiences in salons--this was so much better!

I have been a faithful client of Valon Salon for about 5 years now. I have always been more than happy with the service and my stylist Brady. But this last visit was exceptional. I had to make an emergency visit because my dad was sick and I Would be out of town for awhile. Although they were booked solid, the manager made sure to get me in, my stylist cut my hair in between her other clients, and they booked me with another new colorist that did an amazing job (Kayla). Thank you Valon Salon for truly caring for your Clients. You are the BEST!

First - if you are still a masker and prefer to receive services in salons that still mask, please skip Valon. 90% of the employees choose not to mask. Second - If you want your haircut to be nice and even, please see someone other than Dana. I saw her last night to shorten my hair. At the end of the cut she said to watch out for the hair on the left side because it "has a mind of its own". Okay, well I've seen plenty of stylists who know how to tame hair that has a mind of its own.

Roll around to this morning when I washed and styled it and dang, I had to fight a layered bob for way too long to make the back look decent enough to leave my house. I start really checking it out, and discover that the left and right sides of my head are cut completely different. No wonder she thought it was off because it was. It's a little scary that Dana is the stylist who trains all of their apprentices there to cut hair if this is an example of her work.

Super thrilled to spend $100 including tip plus 90 mins of my time to come away with this cut. I'm going back for her to attempt to fix it tomorrow, and I'm not excited to return.

Valon Salon & Spa is a hidden Gem! Not only are all the employees friendly and sweet but go over and beyond to be helpful! My Services I had were great and exactly what I wanted but the Staff I think is what made my experience so amazing. Thank you for such an Awesome treat to myself, I will be coming back for sure!

Literally Dana and Kayla are amazing. Both are the sweetest human beings. Kayla is basically gonna have creative freedom for color she's so talented. Dana has been cutting my hair since October and I am now a client as I will keep going back to both of them! Also the managers that run the store and front desk are always so sweet and make you feel so warm and welcome. Can't recommend Valon enough!

Kayla has cut and colored my hair twice now and both times it has turned out amazing. She is super professional and always recommends fabulous products as well! My hair has never looked better!

Loved everything about our experience at Valon Salon. Highly Recommend! Jess did an amazing job on my daughters long hair. I went to Valon Spa for the first time yesterday. It was a great experience. Elizabeth gave me the nicest shampoo/massage that I've had in years. I showed Tina a picture of the haircut I wanted and that's exactly what she gave me. I didn't even have to hold my breath like I usually do! Everyone was friendly and helpful. All in all a very good job. Not cheap, though, so be prepared.

So my experience with this salon was horrendous. I went in there got a botched bleach job. I got hot roots all over. Even the owner said my hair was fine when it was clearly not. This salon wasn't cheap either at all. If I'm paying that much for my hair I expect quality hair stylist and colorist but no no no. I definitely would stay far away from getting your hair done here

I saw Dana for my haircut and Kayla for my color. After a terrible experience in a *different** salon, the staff at Valon out shown them and hyped me up. They were kind to me, took their time on my hair. Listened to my concerns, and honestly were some of the kindest humans in their profession. I booked another appointment right away. Ms. Jenna helped me book an appointment for a consultation with a stylist today. It was my first time ever making an appointment at a salon, being a guy who doesn't frequent salons much at all. Because it was my first time, I was nervous, but her communication skills along with her friendly approach made me at ease and feel reassured. She has left a great first impression of the salon on me, and I believe that she is a great representative of not only of her company, but what model customer service should look like! (Coming from 6+ years of experience in the service industry myself) Just based on this interaction alone, I feel confident that I can expect a positive experience. Looking forward to my first appointment with this team.

My Hair looks amazing! I get my Hair done by Jason and he is so experienced and knowledgeable about Hair! Jason really listens and helps me make decisions based upon my wants but also my hair needs! I Highly recommend Jason along with the Talented Staff behind this wonderful establishment!

Came here for a blow dry and scalp treatment. Everything is okay except I walked in the salon with the dark blue hair and walked out with blonde hair. Somehow the shampoo and treatment removed all my blue hair color. I wasn't expected that happened. The stylist also completely ignored the fact that all my hair color got removed. I wish they informed me before they started the service.

My hair dresser Allyssa is amazing! I love this place it's so nice! It's a friendly atmosphere and Allyssa always goes above and beyond to give me exactly what I want with my hair. She's truly a gifted hair dresser!

Best Salon ever! When you walk in you are greeted with the lovely front desk ladies. They are always hardworking and kind. They never fail to make me smile and always set me up with great products and future appointments. The esthetician's (Mare and Ana) are amazing and so is Tara the nail tech. They all make me feel so relaxed and welcomed. You are truly treated like a queen at valon.

Every facial I have had makes me feel beautiful and clean. Massages by Esther & Claudia are beyond five stars. The spa is beautiful and calming and I love treating myself monthly to spa services. I could get my hair done by anyone and truly be happy! Brady, Mel, Jiyon, Tina, And Kris are some of the stylist I've been with lately who have all made me look and feel my best. Lastly, the shampoo assistants are AMAZING!

The best shampoos with wam water and great massages So basically, I am in love with this place and everyone who works here. The owner is hardworking and truly wants the best for her clients.

I went to get my hair done for the first time with Alyssa (who by the way is absolutely amazing at what she does!) And it was such a wonderful experience everyone is so friendly and kind they make you feel right at home. literally! It was such a wonderful experience the manager there is wonderful and helpful as well! I will definitely be going back for all my future hair needs!

I really do love this place, almost all the folks who work here are super nice. Except for Tina. I took my mother to Tina last month and while we were waiting outside to get our temps taken, Tina comes to the door and says "send that old lady in" to our faces! I was shocked and told her it was very rude of her to say this to my mother; Even my daughters were shocked!

When Tina took my mother to start doing her hair, she started to put in a morroanoil glaze, and I told Tina, I did not want a quick toner done, that I wanted my mother to have a semi-permanent toner done and I wanted to make sure she took her time as this was a treat (my mother had recently gotten out of hospital). Clearly Tina was in a hurry and just rushed my mom through her appointment; In the end, my mother was happy and her hair looked good so I made another appointment with Tina.

The same thing happened again today. My mother's "toner" and "blow dry" were done in 20 minutes and I was charged a $100 for this! I don't mind paying but the quality of the service and the professionalism of the hair stylist are clearly lacking. She also referred to my mother as that old lady again. Tina obviously has an issue with old people. I'm never going to her again and can find another stylist at this place who I think can be nice and professional to my mother (and wants the business); I relayed all of this to the manager at the end and she tried defending Tina to me instead of listening and maybe believing what I was saying.

She just kept defending Tina and saying Tina has lots of elderly clients; BTW, I love Magali here who does my hair! She is fantastic, amazing! My kids go here also but they don't see anyone specific, but we never have an issue with anyone else. Tina needs to find another profession because she is very rude to her clients and clearly doesn't care about doing a good job.

Excellent service. Magali did a fabulous job on my pandemic hair. All COVID protocols observed.

I was always apprehensive at the thought of getting my eyebrows waxed, but Ana has proved me wrong! She is amazing at what she does; I've NEVER left feeling unsatisfied. She always makes them look perfect. She also does a great job of setting up a comfortable, relaxing environment.

I've been to so many hair salons in my past and they never truly gave me what I asked for until I went to the Valon. The hair stylists, especially Brady, know what will look good on you based on skin tone and hair type and deliver the best results. The workers make sure the clients are the priority and take care of them to make a very pleasant experience. The staff is so nice and you can tell they love what they're doing. I 100% recommend this place to anyone for reasonable priced hair and beauty treatments.

Ana is amazing! I've definitely found my new spot. I can't wait to see what else this salon and spa has to offer!

Update: Attached another comparison pic. Photos were taken about 3 months apart. Do yourself a favor and see Ana. I've had several people tell me my skin looks good which is something I would never hear before.

Years later and this salon has only gotten better and better. I'm always treated so well and the service is always impeccable. Last year I got my hair cut in a shoulder length bob, longer in the front and it was so easy to style. I have since let it grow out but I'm thinking of doing it with an ombre look again. I'm undecided but I'll let my stylist decide next time I go in, she really does know what looks best on me. Christine is still my go to even though she is booked months in advance, it's always worth it.

For me customer service is everything, if someone goes above and beyond I'll definitely go back and I feel like they do this every time. They know how to treat customers and I'm looking forward to my next visit there.
