It was my best experience in a hair salon! I love Ivona, she is so nice, kind, gentle, careful in the whole process, she fixed my hair color from orange to a nice and smooth blonde! Totally recommend her! Services: Haircut, Balayage, Hair coloring

The stylist (Edith) was nice enough, but even with photos from front, side and back of my previous style, she was unable to even come close to cutting my hair correctly. My style was what I later learned was called an inverted bob. Short. And she used thinning shears on the lower 2 of my hair which made the ends wispy and uneven. No idea how she interpreted that. I'm not mad, but not satisfied, and I won't be giving another try.it takes too long to grow out to be corrected.

I had my hair done by Luz Knuz, and showed her the pictures of the type of hair I wanted. I asked her for the procedure, and she started telling me irrelevant stuff. Since I am a stylist myself, I was expecting good service from her, but she disappointed me and didn't even put any effort on my hair, and my hair look the same. I am super frustrated because she charged me huge bucks and didn't even give the results I wanted.

She was not trying to make me happy and was just doing whatever she wanted to do with my hair. She kept on explaining me my hair can't look the way I want them to look, and just kept telling me irrelevant stuff. Despite her 20 years experience, she had no idea what she was doing. I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED AT THIS POINT!

One of the best salons I've ever been to! I highly recommend this location and have always had a great experience. I've been going here for a year or so and leave looking fantastic every time. Matthew is an incredibly talented stylist and I get an awesome cut and color when I come in here. I even got crazy one time and asked for a blonde dye job: Matt delivered and I looked great for an upcoming vacation. Everyone here is friendly and it's a outstanding environment. Definitely make an appointment as soon as you can and enjoy!

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Khouri. Matthew listened and had great attention to detail. I enjoyed it so much that I booked my next appointment - I've never done that! I highly recommend Matthew and this salon. Very clean facility and very knowledgeable stylists. The scalp massage nearly put me to sleep it was so relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed and the products are great. My hair feels so healthy!

I went to this salon for over 3 years to the same lady. She left the salon and I gladly followed her because her professionalism, kindness and talent was admirable. Their management and assistants need some serious work. They are rude, sloppy, and the customer service is truly awful. I am younger (20s) and they treated me like I was stupid for asking questions and expressing any sort of concern.

I'm sure if I walked in with a designer purse I would have been treated much better, that's how disgusting their management is. Attitude needs to go and their owners need to figure it out. It is one of the only "luxury" salons in South Riding/Dulles South area hence why they are still doing business. I do not recommend to my friends and family even after going their for multiple years it was simply only because of one stylist.

Glad I left the salon. If you're going to spend that much money on your hair go somewhere where they treat you respectfully! Not trying to have someone lose their job over this post but figure it out

I wanted to cut my long hair into a bob hairstyle and the last time I had my hair bob length was over 20 years ago. At that time I was living in Germany and my go to was always at Vidal Sassoon in Berlin. Because when it comes to hair, I am willing to splurge as I think it is very important to get a good haircut. Vidal Sassoon has never disappointed me, it was always perfect.

Now that I live here, I have been to a few hairstylists all highly rated on the internet, but not even one I would go back for a second cut. A few days ago I was in Tysons Galleria and realized that there is a Vidal Sassoon salon there and up to this morning, I was at the edge of cancelling my appointment at Salon Khouri and to make an appointment with Vidal Sassoon but my daughter persuaded me to give this a try and if I don't like it, then don't go back.

I know that its not fair to the hairstylist to cancel last minute so I went ahead. Upon reaching the salon, I have a good impression as the salon looks neat and clean. My hairstylist's name is Iwona with a cute polish accent. She is so nice and genuine and nothing superficial which I really like. She is also not too chatty which I really like, very professional.

And when she finished, I was amazed at how good she is! She is not a master stylist there, but she is so good at her haircutting skills that she should be one! I am highly impressed and I am definitely going to her from now onwards. I highly recommend her totally!

They were able to squeeze us in for a same day appointment for to tame my daughter's crazy quarantine hair before school pictures. They did a great job making her look more civilized.

Got my hair highlighted by Tayler B. today and she did AMAZING! Definitely one of the best hair stylists I've been to and I'll definitely be going back to her! She took her time with me and made me feel very comfortable. The highlights look so flawless and I literally couldn't be happier! I will most definitely recommend her to anyone whose looking for a stylist!

Jelena is wonderful! Always takes time in her consultation to discuss the cut, and then executes it perfectly. My haircuts always exceed my expectations. Moved to the area just over a year ago and so happy someone referred me to this salon (started at Fairfax location but now am going to Dulles Landing). Want to add: I have gone twice since covid, and their protocols make me feel comfortable and safe.

Great Service, follows COVID guidelines, very clean. Becky is a very experienced colorist. During the consultation, she displayed attentiveness, she's very informative, explains all the steps in what is the best decisions for my daughters hair color. Fast forward to appointment. She did exactly what was discussed, It came out beautiful and natural looking.

The nicest and most beautiful salon I have ever seen! The staff was so kind and helpful for me- it was my first time actually getting my hair done and I'm so thankful I went here! I had my hair colored for the first time. I found a stylist at this salon with great reviews. She brightened up my natural red hair and made it look just like a photo of me years ago. I went back for my touch up. I was told on the phone she no longer worked there, but Olivia would be able to do it based on the notes on my card. I got there and asked if she had the notes she said yes.

She proceeded to color my hair and it was a different color. I said this is not the color I had, her response was I think it needed deeper tones. I said I wanted the same color, her response was "Gotcha", I said I am not happy.again she responded "Gotcha" and walked away. I repeated my concerns to the receptionist, she stated there were not notes on the card.

I asked why did Olivia not say something or ask for a photo? No response. She did not charge me for the color (which was the only right thing this salon did) and I was told the owner would call me that afternoon. He did not call. I called the shop the next day and left a message.he called back and asked me what happened. I explained, he asked for photos which I sent.

He said he would call the other stylist to see if she can remember the colors and set an appt for me to come back. He then asked if I would allow Olivia to fix it since he is booked in advance and too busy. I said absolutely not. He said he would call me back and let me know when he can fit me in. Again no response for five days. I texted him again and wants to refer me to another salon, closer to me because he was too busy to see me and felt I would be better for me than driving 45 min back to their salon.

Who pushes their mistake on another salon? Who does not try to fix a problem they caused by lack of professionalism? Who does not call a client back when they promise multiple times?

I recently had my first visit to this salon and was slightly wary based on some of the reviews. I had no issues scheduling my appointment or confirming. The person who answered the phone answered my questions and let me know the salon was not currently doing blow dry as a Covid restriction. My assigned stylist was Olivia and I left very pleased with my color and cut.

She answered all my questions prior to starting and helped me determine the service I needed based on what I was looking for. The shampoo station was great. They had each one separated with curtains and the massage chair was so relaxing. Overall it was a great experience and I plan to return in the future.

Very happy with my color. Carlee transformed my tired brown look into a gorgeous highlited look. There was a confusion between how long the front desk booked me for and how long the service actually took, but Carlee took care of it and made it work!

People I've been ghosted by the salon and the hair stylist. Now I little background, I have boxed dye dark brown hair and knew that I wouldn't be able to achieve the look I wanted with one session. The first session I had very light bang area and barely noticeable lighter pieces the rest of the hair. I asked to be toned within the two weeks and things looked a little more even.

The stylists recommended coming back and doing treasy lights to achieve more lift so i booked my second visit 6 weeks later. well once in the chair she decide to go back to balayage and the result was much lighter. I was content with the results.initially. I loved the color but 4 weeks after my second balayage I started noticing areas that were very splotchy, orange mixed with bangs that were bright yellow.

I decided to contact the hair stylist, she recommended I come back for a toner that I would have to pay for since it was past the two weeks and I was ok with. I then asked about the splotchy areas & sent her pics and tried to be as nice as possible saying I get it bc of my hairs history. She stopped responding. I then get a call from the salon to get me in for a toner.

I explain that I wanted to know how the splotchy areas would be fixed. The girl on the other end said I'd have to book another full service. And I said I didn't want a full service just wanted the areas that need it to be fixed. She told me they'd have to speak with the manager and that they'd call me back. I messaged the stylist and said hey someone from the salon contacted and hoped that i didn't get her in trouble. I'll post my msg to her.

Well it's been 5 days neither her or the salon have contacted me. I will say i think she's a talented hairstylist but perhaps used the wrong technique on my boxed color or was not as strong at boxed color. not sure. But I am no stranger at going from dark to light. I trusted her as a master hair stylist and i should I have been contacted to go back I probably would have.

Now going to another salon to get this fixed. My new hair stylist did say she saw a lot more spots and areas that needed fixing. And that although it was past the two week grace period of making a complain. She explained that it was clearly a hair stylist error and should have had it redone at no charge since it wasn't anything I did to the hair. Needless to say, I have found a new salon and will not be going back.

I had a consult for a hair treatment this afternoon. I received a call from the salon asking if I could come in early because the stylist had a big cancellation. I said I could not because I'm coming from work which is in McClean. My appt was at 4:15 and around 3:35 I called the salon and had told them traffic is very bad due to the storms. I asked if they wanted me to reschedule or is it okay to come a little late.

The receptionist said it was okay to come a little late. I arrive at the salon at 4:30 and the receptionist said, oh the stylist left. I asked why didn't she call to let me know, she said it was too busy. A complete disregard for my time and effort. I had even called and asked which was the preference due to traffic. All I can say is very bad customer service.

Priya did an amazing job on my hair today on my hair cut and balayage. I enjoyed our conversation and she really made me feel at home and comfortable throughout the entire process! She revamped my hair in a big way and the salon itself is beautiful, clean and welcoming.

I LOVE Salon Khouri! My stylist is Carlee Apostolakis and she is simply THE BEST! :) Salon Khouri is only 15 min from my home, so the location is very convenient. The salon is small, but warm and welcoming. One of my favorite things is the massage chairs at the shampoo bowls! They are so relaxing. I could literally sit there all day! Carlee is so wonderful and always listens to what I want, what I like and gives me ideas and advice based on what she knows will work with my hair. I'm never afraid to let her make a color choice since she knows what will look the best. I've never once been disappointed by the end result! I'm not big on getting my hair cut, but every now and again I'm due for a trim and she cuts and layers my hair to perfection!

I have a lot of hair and it's very thick, and she knows how to cut the ends and layer everything so I can keep my hair long and manageable. At this point, I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain how to cut and color my hair to Carlee. I could make an appointment and not give her any direction and my hair would look AMAZING because she knows exactly what I like :) I wish I could recreate the beachy waves she always gives me, but alas, my hair never looks as good as she makes it look at the salon. I have been seeing Chris Kelly at Salon Khouri now for several months. After 8 years in Northern Virginia, I have FINALLY found my salon and stylist! Every time I leave, I am thrilled with how my hair looks. Anyone who really knows me, knows that normally I would go home and restyle before heading anywhere else. No more! Chris is super talented, sweet and listens to what her clients are after.

I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair! The salon is bright and clean. I feel pampered when I go in for my appointments. This is what a great salon experience should be. Everyone is so friendly. I am offered something to drink. Chris never rushes through an appointment, but rather takes her time making sure everything is perfect! Even the shampoo chairs are comfortable (and massaging). Prices may be a bit higher, but worth it for the experience and great color, cut and style I receive. I look forward to my appointments and know I will always come away happy! Truly a great experience every time!

Just have my hair cut and dyed by Chris. My girlfriend loves it! The salon was nice and clean. Chris is so sweet and helpful, she picked my hairstyle and color, I was right trusting her! This is my first hair dye so I bought some hair care products. Good price, tbh. Never have any dry shampoo as good as this brand, Kevin Murphy. Great experience, I'll be back for sure.

I should totally keep this a secret because I don't want to wait for forever to be able to get my own appointment but--- if you don't already have a stylist at Salon Kahouri, give Chris Kelly a try. She's amazing! She has always done and amazing job with my hair and this one time that I was over critical of some layers, she fixed them for me.

No offense taken that I wanted more of a blunt cut. She fixed it and there was nothing awkward about it. (like it can sometime be with other stylist who's feelings are hurt). Chris is professional and has 20 years experience yet keeps up with current trends. She is super sweet too! Appreciate that products are affordable and not overly marked up.

Their back bar is Kevin Murphy which shows their commitment to quality. Love the massage shampoo chairs. This salon has the best customer service and works to exceed expectations. You won't find that anywhere else!

This salon looks great! It's bright and has all the bells and whistles. The stylists are very nice and accommodating. However, I was under-impressed by my completed hair style. I got a simple wash, blow dry, flatiron w/curls. My curls were basically non-existent. It was flat and without style in general. Literally, by the time I got to my car (which was parked directly in front of the door) I couldn't find a curl left in my hair.

I have gone to other smaller shops in the area and paid much less, for much more. For all the questionnaires, and follow up requests I got upon entering and a few days after, I expected much more. Color me unimpressed. As an update for my review I'd like to add that since it was written, the owner has reached out to me several times to talk about my visit.

She appeared very concerned about correcting any/all issues that prevented my visit from being up to their high standards of satisfaction. I was very impressed by her focus on training the employees as much as possible and having other highly experienced stylists on hand to assist if needed at all times. I was even told that there would be replacement services that I previously paid for on hand should I decide to return.

I appreciated all of this very much and may once again give them a try! Thanks Jennifer! So, yet another update! I took Jennifer up on her offer to come back to the salon and let them try to correct what may have gone wrong on my previous visit. After a bit, I decided to take her up in it. And I must say, I am Very Happy that I did! The second time was the charm!

I love my hair and I'm way past satisfied! My stylist this time was Kamen, and she did a great job! Thanks to her, thanks again to you Jennifer for caring so much about customer satisfaction and for going out of your way to make that happen! I will add a pic if the app allows.
