Mervat was amazing, I'm super excited about my first biolage. Great service, very friendly. I didn't get the hair wash lady's name but that was the most relaxing wash I've ever had. Their massage chairs are to dieeee for! I left feeling relaxed and happy- I found my new hair salon! I will be back!

The worse place to go to. They have no respect for other religions. Will treat you differently if you're not white or whatever culture they favors I guess. They damaged my perfectly natural black hair. Definitely never going there again. Avoid this place at all costs

I just had my first appointment here and loved every bit of my experience with Chau. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the salon was very beautiful and elegant. I can't speak highly enough of this salon. I've been getting compliments about my haircut and coloring. You will not be disappointed. This is the best place in the city to get a haircut, coloring, etc.

I have been going here for 20 years - I LOVE EMMY she is the BEST at color and I am super picky about color. I love when she styles my hair and anytime I have a special event I go to her for styling because I can never do it as well on my own. Highly recommend and Alexander is so friendly and nice. This salon is overpriced and under-performs. I paid $70 for a conditioning treatment that promised soft and glossy hair. My hair is barely softer than it was, it's not glossy or shiny, and worst of all, it changed the color of my highlights to a color I don't particularly care for. Not at all flattering. The total bill: $180. This salon was a costly mistake.

I went to get a balayage but came out with a full set of highlights from 1999! I even shower a picture. It was totally a waste of $250. I gave them 2 stars because the people were nice but never again!

I sent my cousin here to get her hair done and it is horrendous! The ugliest looking hair cut I have ever scene. She has amazing hair texture and whatever product they put in her hair made it look so stiff and ugly! Omg and don't get me started on all the white specks on her hair because of the product overload. I am writing this review at 4am because I can't sleep because of how ugly her hair looks! I will visit this store later today to speak to the manager. Please run far away from this place.

My husband found this salon and drove me there for a haircut and color. He booked an appointment for me with Mai, who did an awesome job and gave good recommendations as to what would look good on me. She's very gentle, nice and pleasant. Same goes to the shampoo assistant Reyna. The receptionists were very helpful, attentive and nice as well. Will definitely go back to this wonderful salon and recommend it to my friends and family. I have had really great service at Alexandre de Paris hair salon in the Fairfax/Chantilly area. I have been there several times, and each time received wonderful haircuts, from both Kui and Alexandre. Kui has taken care to find out what type of haircut I like, with excellent results. Similarly, Alexandre has given me super hair cuts. The atmosphere at the salon is friendly. You will find that it is sparkling clean, and that precautions related to covid are consistently followed. I highly recommend this salon!

Brought my 17 year old cousin here for a haircut after letting his hair grow for two years. They were great, listening to his ideas and expectations and the hair dresser executed his ideas perfect! Happy customer and great selection of hair products.

Helena is your rebel short-hair leader! She's been there 40 yrs and it shows why. Alexander himself was there, and the place is stellar and super clean. Helena's best attributes: She explains your thoughts on your dream cut without judgment or too much personal opinion. Very proud and professional of her skills- she delivers! My thick coarse hair isn't ideal for short styles- after 4 other stylists and a barber, none could deliver a well-blended cut or shave without taking off too much or too little. Helena's kind but firm, confidence makes you feel instantly comfortable, and her work. Man, she blends very well, cuts meticulously, and has amazing stories!

This your only go to girl for short hair- nobody will show that much care more about hair, trust me. Her 40 years of experience shows! It's like getting Alexander himself. I got lucky a random 60-year-old customer walked in with an amazing pixie and recommended me to the salon; while I hid my 30-year old self. The shame from bad stylists that don't understand thick hair broke me, as I hid my choppy pixie under a hat.

I was jealous my "grandma" looked better in a pixie. No matter how much I spent $50 or $200 I was tired, and going broke on bad hair stylists. Helena gave me hope and joy, see less blend (see first pic- appropriate length, styles face ) - so hard find in other "stylists". (See second pic. cut too short, hair like a crow, and shave was too rounded) Helena's knowledge and real experience made it possible- all with thick hair as mine. You won't regret having her on your side, it's a blessing worth every buck!

After a lot of deliberation and questions with the front desk staff, I made an appt with Jackie for a spiral perm. I have had straight hair for the last 2 decades and I was so ready for a change.at the same time didn't want to be disappointed. Thank goodness for Jackie for patiently listening to my requirements, verifying my ref pics and for her expert recommendation based on my hair type, face etx.

She took the time to explain care and first shampoo routine. I love the final look. Thank you Jackie. I have found my favorite salon and stylist. Thanks to you. Tip - Please take cash for tips. The salon does not have an alternative. My ATM card didn't work and I had to get creative to make the tips happen.

I went to Alexandre de Paris for the first time. I had a 10 o clock color appointment with Christine K.3 1/2 hrs later and for 1 1/2 hrs, I sat in a chair with soaking wet hair, no towel, soaking wet clothes, freezing waiting for my hair to be dried. Terrible service for $310 - go elsewhere.

I've been going to Kristine at Alexandre de Paris for about 15 years. All the people who work there are nice. It's always been a good experience.

Had a great experience today with Kye who colored and cut my hair. I feel totally transformed and loved spending my day at this luxury salon and spa.

This is the first review I have ever written and placed online, but I just had to share my experience with Jessica at Alexandre de Paris in Fairfax VA. I was in need of a style change and knew was I was looking for but I was at an akward stage in growing out my previous style. After consulting with Jessica and telling her my goal, she explained what we would need to do to work towards the new elongated bob I wanted.

I felt totally at ease with her as she has a very warm and friendly personality and I put my trust in her. The style I walker out with is one of the best haircuts I have ever had in my life! I'm used to going home and restyling my own hair after having feigned satisfaction in the salon. But I left the salon that day looking and feeling like a woman in a hair product commercial. Jessica, thank you so so much and you have a new lifelong customer

Made color appointment with a stylist. Everything went well. The stylist was sweet though she seemed a little worried at times. She did a great job. The problem started when she told me we are done right after washing the color from my hair. She did not even offer drying the hair. I understand I wasn't asking for a full on blow dry but simple hair drying is required.

She was hesitant when I asked her to dry my hair. She said she had to follow the rules. She half heartedly ran the dryer through my hair. For the price I paid for color, I expected dry hair before I left the place. Very unprofessional! Also, I was told at the register, they don't add tips to the card. Either use the atm or bring cash. Ugh! Not going back!

Had my first appt with Kye last week. She is amazing! Excellent Covid precautions followed while being very welcoming. Definitely recommend!

I have been going to Alexandre for years and have always felt so much better when leaving the salon. Well, not today. I had a terrible experience at the salon today. I was looking forward to having the. excellent service I was used to after such a long break due to COVID-19. I was ushered in on time and had my hair washed. That was fine and felt great. Then, Alexandre came over without much chit chat nor consultation about what I wanted.

After a quick 5 minute snip from Alexandre (granted he is a good and knows how to cut hair quickly and it looks great), the gal who was assisting him had another client as well, told me that she wouldn't blow dry my hair because there were other customers.

Stylish cuts, friendly and personable staff, sleek and comfortable environment. This place is top notch

Above and beyond! Recently I went for my second time for highlights and a hair cut by the Amazing Stephanie. She has transformed my hair in two visits. The salon is very relaxing and friendly. The first time I went the owner Alexandre came over and we had a very nice conversation. This visit I arrived a little tense. I was having my hair done, when my husband texted Ann's said there was no coffee, could I stop on the way home.

I think I groaned and Stephanie asked if anything was wrong. A few minutes later she came back with a plastic bag full of coffee and a scooper. She had explained to Alexandre the tough week our family was going through and he said it was the least he could do. Above and beyond. Needless to say, I left very relaxed and to top it off, my hair was beautiful! Can't wait for my next visit.

I have been going to Alexandre de Paris for a few years now and always receive great service. I especially enjoy getting a maincure and pedicure from Amy. She always finds a way to make my day better and her skills are on point for this picky customer. :D

This place feels like home to me - we are long time companions! Alexandre and his staff are friendly and talented and that has kept me coming back for 30+ years. Not to mention I have moved and travel a fair distance for my reservation with Alexander. In addition, Tasia is the best person I know for facials.

I wish I could give a million stars for Alexandre de Paris and his staff! I had spent 5 weeks not being able to figure out why my hair was tangling in big knots. Nobody EXCEPT ALEXANDRE DE PARIS AND his products saved my hair. My hair is very important to me. I love his friendly receptionists and he is so sweet and a kind man himself. My husband and I both chose Julie for our stylist - and she's awesome! We have been going to Julie for quite some time because she cares, she is consistent and she listens to you. When you describe what cut you want and if she thinks what you want won't look good, she's advises you what she thinks would work best with your hair type etc.

I get my hair cut, colored and often highlights and always love when I walk out! I get so many compliments on my hair.i have recommended 2 coworkers and they also loved Julie's creation! Alexander and his entire staff are so courteous and truly make you feel welcome in their beautiful salon. You want a great stylist - make an appointment with Julie - you truly will not regret it!

I cannot say enough about Alexandre's and Maggie. She is absolutely a beautiful person inside and out. She has been doing my hair for a couple years now and I am NEVER unhappy. Also, from the moment you walk into the door, the staff is friendly, kind and offer you water or coffee while you wait for your appt. I feel totally pampered by Maggie.

She really cares about anyone that is in the chair. She listens to what you want or if you ask her to "go for it" she recommends the latest styles and creations. When I left yesterday, the next appt was someone in a wheel chair and she even asked them if they needed help going to the restroom prior to the appt as their care taker was gone! She really really cares.

I used to visit Alexandre de Paris before moving out of the area several years ago and I'm so happy to return after moving back. The stylists are still exceptional and Lynn is incredible! She somehow managed to mold the three different cuts that I described into one custom look for me and I love it. (And I'm not terribly easy to please when it comes to my hair.) She took seven inches off of the length and I just can't believe how much I love the cut and style. She was so patient and easy to trust. Can not recommend Lynn and Alexandre de Paris enough.

I was looking for a new haircut salon in our neighborhood. So I walked to this nice modern looking place, Alexandre de Paris, and asked for the recommendation for a good haircut specialist for very fine and curly hair. The receptionist recommended me "a perfect master" Lynn. I had an appointment set with her on Friday, March, 30. It was the worst haircut in my life!

I came to salon on time and waited for hair wash for about 10 minutes. Hair wash itself was pretty good with massage and nice shampoo. And after that I was invited for cutting. Lynn seems to be a nice person but could not say that she is a good haircut professional. My whole haircut took 15 minutes only! And that including blow dry too. It usually takes about an hour or so in other places.

At the beginning, I asked Lynn to cut not more than 2 inches of my hair, but she slashed about 3 from the get go. Once I returned home after this rapid haircut, I found that one side of my head is almost one inch longer than another, so I had to return back to the salon for corrections. I did not get any sense of apology from salon. They offered me nothing to compensate for it.

No discounts, no refunds, nothing. Next morning after my shower I recognized that all of my hair in different length, and all my hair looks so sloppy! It's almost impossible to fix them now, so I will have to wait for about months to let them grow up and find a good professional to cut them elsewhere. I think it was the biggest mistake of my life to let this pseudo master Lynn to cut me. I recommend you to avoid this non professional place if you need the good haircut.

Sherry was amazing! A true artist! It's so nice to find a stylists who can actually take a look at you and recommend the perfect color, cut & style! Sherry was masterful with her balliage and I am extremely pleased with my haircut. I think this is the first time ever, I didn't ask for a hair-spray down before I left! I definitely walked out feeling younger, fresher and with a 'pep in my step!' Thank you Sherry, I'll be back
