Salon Antoine

The hair dressers do a wonderful job- as my daughter and son have both used different people here. The issue we've had recently, over the past 3 months we've had 3 appointments canceled on my daughter- literally an hour or two before the appointment. I am understanding that things happen, but our time is as valuable as those that work here, and rescheduling a 4th time is out of the question.

THEY HAVE MY LOYALTY FOREVER - not to be dramatic but I am just so pleased as a satisfied, high maintenance consumer. I had a botched blonde hair job by someone who basically did really well on the parts that were most visible, but did whatever he want underneath - without my consent or knowledge. I work in Fairfax so I immediately Googled 5 star hair salons nearby that have later hours and I stalked the reviews, website, and booked a consult with Antoine himself.

They fit me in within 3 days of my call. I came in, they consulted me, I tried to be realistic when trying to go platinum, but more negative to expect the worst - Antoine assured me he strives for excellence. As a botched blonde, I have heard that before but he has 5 stars for a reason, right? I booked an appt for 3 days later and took a vacation day for this. Fingers crossed! Fast-forward to the day of the appt and I am ecstatic.

I get there, I check in at the hand sanitizing station, get my temperature checked, and am cleared to get a gown on. His assistant, Christiana, is sweet and blonde herself so she was giving me tips and tricks to get the most out of my hair, and they offer beverages. Each station has a wall in-between so they are covid-friendly (major plus). Antoine does an outfit change for this moderate to severe color correction.

Time flew by like nothing for me but he was breaking his back and working his arms like crazy apply all the bleach. I have been down this route before, and this man knows his stuff - he even educated me on things that I didn't know to get healthier hair and the most out of my hair. Consider me impressed. At the washing station, I get the foils taken out and lay back like usual. NO, they have MASSAGING reclined chairs so you don't break your neck! Forget about it. More than satisfied, forever disappointed I did not find them sooner. I have beautiful hair again!

After shopping around for hair stylists for years, I finally found the one! Mariam is my fairy godmother of hair, she's the only person I trust now. She really understands long hair and how to give it movement and definition. In addition to hair cuts, I recently got my hair colored with her and couldn't be happier!

Tony and the rest of the team at Salon Antoine are positively top shelf. Do yourself a favor and check them out! You won't be disappointed, believe me.

I was provided with a new disposable mask to wear. There were no other clients around me or even on the same side of the salon at the time of my service, even when I was being shampooed. There were brand new shampoo stations installed. My stylist wore gloves and a mask the whole time and I saw him sanitize the styling combs and brushes he used on my hair.

Hand sanitizer was offered and encouraged throughout the salon. I felt safe and taken care of at Salon Antoine. I would highly recommend this Salon to anyone needing their service.

Tony did my hair today after another hairdresser in Stafford screwed up on my hair. He did a great job. It takes me a hour drive but it is so worth it. Love this place.

Salon Antoine is fabulous. Everyone I have run across who works there are just as nice as they can be. Angela does my hair and she is fabulous. Very talented stylist. The salon is always as clean as can be and they have excellent precautions for Covid in place including social distancing and plastic shields between all stations. Super, super place!

I have been going to Salon Antoine for over 30 years. It is peace of mind to know my hair cut and color will be awesome every time. Tony, the owner, works with each customer to find their best look. I especially appreciate the flexibility Salon Antoine is providing during this pandemic. The salon has implemented new procedures to keep customers safe.

And if you're still not comfortable with a visit, they offer a take out color mix service. I took advantage of that and my hair came out perfectly. They made it so easy and risk free. I will never go anywhere else. Tony also does my daughter's hair and she travels from Richmond for his services.

This is a amazing salon! I love my hair. I'm writing this during quarantine 2020. Tony has taken every possible precaution. I was set at ease during the appointment. I strongly recommend this salon.

I have been coming to Salon Antoine for many years and would not go anywhere else. Tony and his staff are very professional, caring and attentive to everything you are looking for. The color is always natural the haircuts are the best and even the shampoo is something I really look forward to. The whole experience is a treat and they are all now like family.

I have been going to a barbershop of relative convenience for some time and you tend to kind of get complacent with mediocre haircut after mediocre hair cut. A couple times, I was even "touching it up, " myself in a mirror. I went to see Tony and the experience was completely different. I just told him do your thing, keep it trendy and closed my eyes He really took his time and did an amazing job. The guy didn't miss a single hair! Most important thing is my fiance loved it.

Jenny has been our hairdresser for over 12 years. She does a phenomenal job of both my hair and my teenager daughters' hair. Coloring and cut is fabulous. And SUCH a lovely person too - I look forward to seeing her very much! Flora is a wonderful appointment manager.

I absolutely love going to Salon Antoines. I have been going to Tony for at least four years maybe five. I leave there feeling absolutely beautiful. Tony is so passionate and loves what he does so much. As I get older, I recognize that I need someone who's going to be brutally honest with me and who will never let me leave they're not looking my best. He sincerely cares for his clients. I highly recommend him.

Terrible experience: I want highlights; instead I leave with hair paint dark on the back and very intense blond peaces of hair in front. My hair now is damage and looks very bad. Never recommend this place to anybody.

Great recommendation for my curly hair. Jenny gave me great advice and a good cut. I like the salon. Easy to park. Small with booths tucked away so it has a somewhat intimate feel. I think regardless of how busy they are at any given moment the way it is set up makes it feel calm and quiet. Although they have products and are happy to recommend no one pushed them so did not feel pressured to buy.

I have been going to Salon Antoine for years now. The owner Tony has treated all the clients with friendliness and courtesy. All the staff are very professional. I have had Melissa as my hair stylist and she is one of the nicest staff in the salon. We had developed friendship over the years. At present I am being attended by Mariam who also became a close friend over time.

She is very professional and knowledgeable with what she does. I would highly recommend Salon Antoine if you want your hair done professionally and to look good after the service. I would like to add Samira who attends to my daughter. Emilie just loves her.

If you have curly hair, Miriam is amazing. I've been going to her for about 5 years now and I wouldn't want to let anyone else touch my hair.

I went in for a 2 inch trim and some lighter balayage highlights for summer. I came out with three inches or more gone, with darker hair and a few random blonde "chunks" all over my head. I naturally have medium brown hair and I brought in a picture that showed balayage with a brunette base and some blonde/strawberry highlights. My stylist immediately started telling me this wouldn't work or look good on me.

Instead she showed me a darker brown/red color swatch she could dye my whole head then maybe add some blonde highlights. I felt bullied into agreeing with her if I wanted my hair done at all. She said she would make it look like the picture so I said okay. As she was rinsing the color out she said "Oh uh, well, this doesn't look like the picture, but its nice I guess" WHAT?!

It didn't look like the picture at all. I now have almost black hair with a crazy amount of blonde highlights on the bottom, two very large chunks on the sides of my head, and one random chunk of blonde on the back of my head. My theory is that she was tired and just didn't feel like doing my whole head. I said I wanted two inches cut off at the most, but before she started coloring, so grabbed my hair and cut off two or more inches right away.

So after the color was washed and it was ready to cut I asked nicely not to take off any more length overall, just to add some layers. She told me no. No layers. So I asked again and she said "fine just a little". I do not have layers. I left almost in tears. I felt bullied and not listened to at all. At least I got 20% off for being a referral. They told me I had one week to come in to fix it if I wasn't happy but NO WAY am I going to trust them with my hair again.

I decided to write a review 4 years after my haircut as it took me that many years and so many disappointing haircuts to realize that Tony gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I didn't return after that haircut as he is just too far from my house and I had two kids under 3. Now that they are older I think I know whom I will have my next haircut scheduled with. Tony is a true stylist, he is amazing with the scissors and just gives your hair body and life. He is one in a million and has amazing talent and it is truly difficult to find that nowadays.

Outstanding woman's haircut! Chopped off my curls for a short, chic summer look. Tony, rocked it! I have gotten a ridiculous amount of compliments! Keep up the great work!

My mom who is her middle eighties, goes to Tony now for color and cut. He is very nice to her, and the entire staff works very hard to help out as she is wheelchair bound. Everyone is courteous and caring. Her hair looks great and the color lasts for a long time.doesn't change with shampoos as it did with her previous stylist at another salon. We are very happy with this salon.
