This was my first time going to Aqua Salon and it was a wonderful experience. Ella did an amazing job at cutting and styling my hair! Services: Hairstyling, Haircut

Matthew was our stylist for my daughter with very curly hair who wanted a blow out for a party. He immediately made her feel uncomfortable telling her how horrible her hair was and that he would "try." She's not good about speaking up about what she wants but he made her feel terrible when she wasn't happy saying it was taking too long and he needed to get to his 3rd job. He charged us $20 extra so $55 instead of $35 and I tipped him $20 for his trouble - we won't be back.

My daughter also had a few inches cut off and it looks great! Everything was appropriately sanitized after each client and they all have such sweet personalities!

So impressed with this salon! New client, found them after Googling. Their website made is super easy to make my appointment. Julie did an AMAZING job with cut and color. Uly also made quite an impression as the receptionist. He was sweet, funny and very informative. Not a super fancy salon, just good stylists with reasonable prices. Very happy I found Julie and this salon!

Review for Robyn: 5 Stars! I started to come to Robyn over 3 years ago when I moved to the area for medical training. At the time I didn't have a regular hairdresser or routine. She helped rehab my hair and its been fantastic ever since. Her cuts always work great with my thick and naturally curly hair and grow out well. I have also used her for color, highlights, and tried a kertin express.

Every time I leave happy and my hair looks great! She has very good prices and the staff at Aqua Salon is fantastic. I have an unpredictable schedule and Robyn and the staff has really worked with me to get me in whenever works. I moved away to Ann Arbor a few months ago and am still coming to RO for hair cuts ( that is a 5 star review in itself). Give Robyn and Aqua Salon a try - you'll be happy you did.

I had been searching for a hair place for about 4 years after moving to the area. I'd tried so many places that offered Groupons, but after the first discounted visit they just became too expensive (I'm a grad student on a budget!). Finally, right before my wedding, I googled places instead of Groupon and found Aqua. I got a trim/highlight and instantly knew I would continue coming here. Emilia was the first person out of all these local places to get the color I wanted exactly right.

And also, the price was entirely reasonable! I looked amazing for my wedding, and came back to Aqua a few months later to chop off all my hair. I was equally happy with the results! As long as I live here, this is my salon.

I've been going to this Salon for years now. Ulysses at the front desk is always greeting everyone with a smile &&& he is probably the happiest person I've ever met (plus he loves my cupcakes). Christina is AMAZING- My sister and I see her every time - although everyone there is top notch. The salon is always very clean and well maintained, they really listen to your concerns and I've always left feeling 1001% better than I did going in. I also HIGHLY recommend them for wedding hair and make up as well. Lisa did the make up for my wedding and Christina did our hair, I felt like a star!

I love this Salon! Friendly staff and nice decor. I always see Ella who does an amazing job and now has me rocking the long hair! This is not your typical trendy Royal Oak salon that you walk in and feel uncomfortable and spend wwwaaayyy to much. The prices are reasonable and from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the awesome gentleman at the front desk, you feel welcome. I highly recommend this Salon!

I went in about 2 weeks ago and asked for platinum blonde like I have gotten countless other times at my old salon. I came out with bright orange hair. I went back the next day so they could "fix it" and it was still terrible (see pics). I ended up having to drive an hour and a half to see my old stylist to get it fixed. I requested a refund 3x and was told the owners would call me.

No call, no refund. I had to go to an interview with this hair before I could get it fixed! I was beyond embarrassed and the fact the owners never bothered to call says a lot.
