Gave my daughter hot roots for prom. Who bleaches the roots first and then doesn't even bleach the rest of the hair completely? Such a waste of time and money. She cut her hair off last year and spent over a year growing it out for this and this is what happens. They tried to say it was too damaged. No it wasn't. It was not overly processed hair she bleached it one time in September. It's been growing out ever since waiting for prom and you ruined it.

I'm going to give this salon a five star rating even though the receptionist ( male) was rude. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he shouldn't take it out on people spending good money to be there. The woman who fixed my hair was the most adorable person to work with! Very sweet, fun laugh, ready to talk to and very knowledgeable about color corrections. She fixed the color job another salon had ruined and that made her my miracle worker! Wonderful place.

Hair service: 5/5 Friendly gal. Very well styled cut. atmosphere: 5/5 Checkin process and appt process: MINUS 5/5 Appt: when I called in and said I didnt want a new person, she was so snotty. I thought youre a receptionist, not a Kardashian. Checkin: I thought I was getting set up for a lineup on Law & Order. THey wanted to know address, all my phone numbers, my age, a complete dossier on legal practices, this is BULLSH**! Man, I was at the counter 15 mins + they said they wanted a profile filled out. O. M. G. ALL FOR A HAIRCUT.

Today at 12:00 PM For years I wanted to try this salon so when my current hair salon closed, I booked an appointment for highlight and haircut. When I arrived, I thought I had walked into a gift shop vs. a salon and found the check-in process inefficient and not very friendly. When finally meeting my stylist and discussing options for highlighting, I found they had booked me with a different stylist than what I had requested.
She explained that they mixed up the appt., the other stylist was not available and she had to charge me the higher rate. At that point I wanted to walk out, but I was going out of town the next day, and had no time to book another appt. elsewhere. I felt forced into signing up for the higher priced stylist/service and after 1/2 hour of waiting for her to supposedly check with the owner and concluding nothing could be done re: my appt mix up, she began my highlights.
The highlights were good but didn't cover gray hairs as requested (she said I should have asked for tinting, seriously?!). The haircut was basic but I've had much better styling. Definitely not worth the $. Checking out was much friendlier, she took the time to listen to my issues, indicating a manager would be contacting me in a few days. Weeks later and no contact. Based on the appt., service mishaps, and no follow up, sadly this will be my first and last visit to this salon. Expected an excellent hair day, but only experienced extreme disappointment.

I've been a client for years as well as my daughters. My daughter ( young adult) had an appointment yesterday and the owner demanded she pay and tip before services, giving her cc and driver license and their rates have increased more than 30% in 3 months, which they never told her when booking the appointment, she was in tears being pressured and treated so unprofessional by the owner demanding pre payment and was told her she could leave and not have services yesterday. FYI, No issue with us paying and we usually 25% tip at least.
Not sure why owner did this but we will not be back and you should consider the same.many hair stylist have left in the last year or so more than 20.that should say a lot about the owners and how they treat their staff not to mention customers.

Katie M is wonderful! If you need a fresh cut and color, she's the one! I've never colored/dyed my hair, and she took great care and time with the highlights - that foiling is no joke, but she was so precise and comprehensive despite my really thick hair. And she was patient and cheerful throughout- I can't thank her enough. Can't wait to come back and experiment with new colors! Thank you Katie!

My first time at visions, I was so impressed just walking in the door. Holly the receptionist was so nice and helpful, my nail tech, Sam was really professional, friendly and I had a relaxing very thorough pedicure. I asked her if she could Polish my nails only since I was there and she graciously accommodated me. This was a small extra charge. There is also a spa side to the salon, I hope to go back for a facial. $$$but well worth it!

I usually don't like getting massages but my mom booked this for me as I was in desperate need of some relaxation after a particularly stressful exam week. I was greeted by a friendly staff who took me to the back to get changed into my robe. It was a very neat and relaxing area with soft music playing in the background but there was only one small changing room with lockers for my stuff.
I felt rushed to change quickly so that I wasn't keeping others from changing too. There was iced tea offered in the waiting area but the water was empty. The massage itself (the 60 minute Signature massage) was great-I felt so relaxed and warm and my masseuse kept asking me if I was okay and I appreciated that. Also, I had requested ahead of time that she wear a mask and I was concerned that I'd face pushback on this, but I was happy and relieved when she came out and was wearing her mask.
One small complaint: according to online, I was supposed to be offered frozen grapes and time in the sauna after my massage which I was not. Not sure why I wasn't offered this? I would have likely taken advantage of it.

I scheduled my massage 3 weeks ahead of time. The masseuse had an emergency and had to cancel day of, which is totally understandable! However, when I called to reschedule the soonest they could get me in was 1 month later. When I said I think I'd have to find a different place because that wouldn't work for me, the receptionist said "have a nice day" and just hung up on me as quickly as possible.

Katie T gives THE BEST haircuts around and truly understands how to manage fine hair. Her technical skills are the best I've seen so that your hair grows out perfectly too. After your cut, she walks you through what products to use that won't weigh find hair down and then how to use them so your hair is always looking it's best. She's so sweet, answers all of my questions, and a total hair cutting ninja!

Thought I would give this place another try as I had an unused gift card. I called ahead of time to find out about their COVID protocols in place. They told me that the massage therapists wear masks and shields. So I went to my appt walked into the massage room only to find my therapist had nothing! No mask and no shield. Upon asking if she was going to have a mask on, she said "no. I'm good." I said, "well I'm not good without you wearing one so can you put one on please." I was SHOCKED to say the least that a therapist performing a service (very closely like that) less than six feet apart, did not have a mask on! On top of that, the room is very small and she was inches from my face performing a massage. I will not go back to this place! Given them too many chances.

The services are great but the business is absolutely horrible! They made a mistake on billing - realized they made a mistake and did not credit my account and said it was my problem that I didn't have enough overage money in my account. I had to pay overdraft bank fees because they made a billing error. The manager said it was my problem even though they had the wrong credit card number. They never even offered to remedy the situation they caused by even offering an amount towards a service as a credit. This is a bad business.

Low end service at high end prices. No customer service. A day later, I still have dye all over my face (a half inch of dye around my entire hairline). Kyleigh spent more time talking about $$ than discussing my desired outcome. She also refused to give me an exact quote because "it depends how many MLs I have to use". mind you, I was sitting in the chair.
She could have looked at my hair to see how much dye was needed. After spending $$$, I immediately put my hair in a ponytail when I got in the car. I would have been happier at just about any other salon.

Hello all, I'd like to start by emphasizing this is not my first trip to Visions and definitely will not be the last. As a gift I had the "couples retreat" which encompassed a four course gourmet style meal, massage and ended with a trip to the sauna after. Refreshing orange water and frozen grapes and cold face towel. Kelsey - front desk & Janelle - masseuse did an outstanding job. No more two year breaks for me. Thanks again, Johnnie B.

I've had tons and tons of massages here, every time they're great. The basic Swedish massage is sixty minutes and you can sit in the sauna afterwards for however long you want, plus you get frozen grapes which I had no clue were so good until this place. Rita did my massage today, I will definitely start requesting her as of now because she's great.

Kylie did my balayage and she was perfect! I was really nervous but she made me feel comfortable, addressed all my concerns, and made certain I would be happy with the results. I am absolutely in love with my hair and will likely be returning to get it lighter. UPDATE: I had another session with Kylie and as expected, I love the results! She is super patient and does a thorough job.

My friends gifted me with a spa certificate to this place. I decided to book the facial, stress back treatment and a shellac manicure. These three services were $284. Everyone was pretty friendly. The services were timely and for the most spot on. I enjoyed the facial most of all and my skin STILL feels hydrated and looks bright (I went 3 days ago).
The shellac manicure was nice, however, there is some slight "pooling" near the nail bed. I probably would not opt for the back treatment again and would probably just get a massage. I am going to try to go at least once per month for the hydrating facial. (It was THAT good)

Very odd experience, as you can see there is polish over the cuticle ( on several nails), my nails were not filed evenly, over all it very poor $ 39 manicure. The best part was when she was removing some left over nail polish on her nails while my hands were wrapped in a hot towel. I will say the girl at the front desk seemed horrified when I showed her, she told me another girl could fix then in 30 min but I was ready to go and it would be uncomfortable to have someone fix your nails just feet away from the person who just did them. I was told the manager would call me the day after, she never did. Needless to say my first and last visit.

As an extremely kind and generous notion, my fiance's mother and aunt made spa appointments for both myself and one of his cousins. We were to get pedicures at the spa. I had been there once before but it was over five years ago and I just remember it being amazing. One of the few times you're actually able to lay down while you got a pedicure and fall asleep.
When you wake up, you are relaxed and your toenails look gorgeous. Upon arrival, there was an incredibly unkind and rude girl working the front desk. When you're spending a decent amount of money to have a relaxing spa experience right around the holidays, you expect to arrive and be greeted with some kind of warmth. This was the opposite. She act annoyed that we were there and wouldn't even escort us back herself.
The girl who did bring us back, walked into the back room, we didn't know where we were going so we followed her. She acted annoyed and said "no, wait out here another girl who will be out to walk us to the locker room." The whole thing was kind of weird. I had mentioned it later on tomy fiance's mom and aunt and they said they had the same kind of rude experience with the same girl the day prior.
We got into the women's locker room area and it was very small. One bathroom, one changing room, and a small locker area. When you go out and the relaxation room it's very nice and peaceful. There are snacks, drinks, and a fireplace. There's also a dry sauna to use while you wait. Our pedicures were amazing, just as I remembered. Very relaxing and easy to fall asleep. I would return here for the pedicure any day, but it was very disheartening to have that experience upon arrival.

I have been to several spas, all over Southeast Michigan and this is by far my favorite! We were there celebrating a friend's upcoming wedding, so we all had multiple services done. Massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures. I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried, they were all so relaxing! The massage was 60 minutes long & she was very responsive to my comfort level.
The facial was a great mix of information about my skin & relaxation. I have some problem areas around my chin & she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She gave a few suggestions as to what I could try at home without trying to sell any particular product. Lastly, we had our nail services. The large reclining chair made it! We kicked back with a warm blanket and an eye mask while our toes were done.
A small table was brought to us to do our hands after and we never had to leave our cozy chairs. It was relaxation from start to finish. Even in between services was nice! We had the choice between the sauna (with frozen grapes & infused water provided) or to hang out in the lobby with snacks, water, and iced tea. Visions provided the perfect day for us. If you are celebrating or just need a day off for yourself, I couldn't recommend this place more highly.
