I'm not one to leave reviews but, I had to share my Makeup and hair experience at Harlow Salon. Attended my friends wedding as a bridesmaid, and she gifted us having our hair and makeup done! They have their own makeup line! All their products are made for that picture perfect bridal/ Selfie look but can wearable everyday! Recently, I ran out of a few products and learned they now have an online store! Answers to my prayers, because I can't just fly back in, lol.

Easily placed an order and shipped immediately! Private makeup line designed by the owners! The products maintain perfection, even on a hot humid day! You will always look fresh and picture perfect!

I asked her to blend in my extensions and she started to cut my hair then said she couldn't do it. So we had to stop. So bizarre because I told her what I wanted from the beginning. Edit: the picture I showed was just long hair with long layers. The point of the hair cut was to blend my hair with my extensions. I wasn't refusing to take them out, but the cut would be pointless if they weren't cut with the extensions in.

Also I had just washed my hair and communicated that with my stylist and she said it was fine to skip the wash. If she had preferred to still do it, she could have told me and I would have complied. We talked about the cut before I even sat down in the chair and the stylist was aware of my intentions for the haircut. I think she refused to finish the hair cut because I told her she was pulling my hair when she brushed it (and I was nice about it).

Every other stylist I've worked with holds the root of the hair while brushing with extensions. She was seriously pulling my hair out. It was obvious she's never worked with extensions before. Which doesn't make her a bad stylist, but she shouldn't take work she's not ready for. It was unprofessional to commit to the cut with knowledge of what I wanted, cut my hair, then half way through figure out she wasn't trained enough to do it.

I just don't appreciate the owners response here because she clearly doesn't have a grasp on how the cut actually went and it seems like she's alluding that I was uncooperative. That's just not the case. I've never had a problem with a stylist who knew extensions. I'm polite and I even paid the stylist for her time (since she cut my bangs a little). This just comes down to a professional taking work she wasn't ready for and not being polite about it when she couldn't handle it.

I've had everything done at Harlow from hair to makeup. I brought my daughter for a prom updo. I always leave amazed and impressed by the talent of everyone here! Harlow Girls are amazing! Super friendly and fun! Highly recommend. Not only are they friendly and treat you like family, they do great hair! All the stylist are skilled in their craft. We had hair & makeup done for my sisters wedding. The ladies were awesome! We looked beautiful! There were 3 of us and we could not have been any different in what each of us wanted. I will come back every time I go to Nashville. It was so much fun and helped to make my sisters day even more special. Thank you so much!

Eva gave me the exact haircut I wanted! So many other salons in the past have missed the mark. I'm probably a challenging customer because I know exactly what I want and I'm very specific, but I don't always know how to describe what I'm going for. Eva asked all the right questions and was not shy about getting clarification before starting. This is the type of stylist I would follow to a new salon if she ever changed location.

To be clear, the other stylists in the past never did anything terrible to my hair, they just didn't get it looking as great as Eva did. I have not felt this happy leaving a salon in forever! Seriously LOVE my haircut. Highly recommend Eva!

Shana saved me! After getting a botched haircut, I needed someone to give me a quick fix. After calling and walking in to what seemed like 50 salons in Nashville, Shana had me in and out in 20 minutes, and gave me probably the best haircut I've ever had! Customer service is top notch! You won't be disappointed!

I flew into Nashville for my elopement and received a recommendation to try Harlow for my hair and makeup. I was nervous given that I had no trial beforehand, but it turned out to be the absolute best experience. Shana was incredibly sweet and hospitable, putting this nervous bride at ease with fun conversation and delicious mimosas! She listened to what I wanted and happily made adjustments and changes as we went along if I wasn't 100% happy.

By the end of our appointment I felt so happy and at ease, and my hair and makeup looked even better than I could have imagined. I also found my new favorite line of makeup--Reckless by Harlow--and can't wait to return to Nashville so I can visit this salon again! I was sad to see a one star review from another bride--all I can say is that 1. that bride's makeup actually looks very nice (she attached photos) and 2.

I can pretty much guarantee that if she had spoken up about her concerns, Harlow would have HAPPILY helped her wash everything off and re-done her makeup the way she wanted. Shana was so kind, genuine, and talented!

I just moved from NYC and was looking for a new local salon - so so so glad I found this place. I got a single process color, bangs and a LOB - they did a great job and the price was extremely reasonable. Will definitely be going back!

I flew into Nashville to elope and was recommended to try Harlow Salon. I did not get to do a trial run before hand unfortunately and I wish I had. I also tried looking online for makeup portfolios and couldn't find anything, another reason why I'm posting my own photos. This is their "airbrush makeup" and I had requested a natural look as well.

I could go on and on, but the makeup speaks for itself. Would this have photographed well for my wedding pictures? Definitely not. Luckily I had enough time to wash it off and do my makeup myself before my wedding. I also want to mention I paid full price and did not complain. They know this makeup was not great as anyone can see that. someone should've stopped me from walking out the door on my wedding day looking like this. Complaining wouldn't have done anything but dig myself into a deeper hole.

And I definitely didn't trust anyone there any longer to try and fix it. The only reason I'm posting this is so other women do not feel the way I did about my makeup on my wedding day! Nothing about this says natural bridal makeup.

I could make this so long that no one would read it, so suffice to say that EVA at Harlow is the very best in Nashville. Coming from LA it took me two years to find her. And it happened because of a disaster with my daughter's hair with cut and color and Eva not only fixed it, but turned it into a masterpiece. Today, she cut my hair. She said that she sees hair like an ice sculpture.

Within the ice, is a shape that with the right technique, will be revealed. She sees hair that way. Within my hair, was an awesome haircut and with her expertise, she would allow it to be revealed. Did she? I probably got the best haircut of my life. She cut it for my face shape and my lifestyle. In my opinion, there's no one better. Thanks Eva for being you.and being in Nashville!

I went here a few weeks ago and got a balayage/ombre hybrid by Stephanie. She did a great job! Was very personable and attentive and made me feel like a million bucks. I've received numerous compliments on my brown to blonde transformation and was clearly passionate about her work. Will be back!

Wonderful place, the woman who did my manicure really took the time to do it well and was so sweet! Would recommend this place to anyone! Just make an appointment ahead of time!

Eva saw me for a last minute blowout - I'm so lucky I caught her because she is INCREDIBLE. I'm picky and impatient and irritable. Eva was fast, fun and fantastic! Thanks for making me look so great, Eva. See you next time I'm in Nashville!

This is such a cute place! I tried a spray tan here and it was great. They have a fast version that will let you shower after only one hour. The result is really good no orange and it lasts for a good 2-3 weeks too.

Best salon! I was so impressed by the customer service everyone was so nice! The color came out phenomenal! Can't wait to go back!

Harlow Salon was great! A friend and I stopped in without an appointment when we arrived in Nashville for a weekend trip. Not only did they take us right away (a manicure for me, a blow out for my friend) but they did it with a friendly enthusiastic smile! My manicure was perfectly executed and very comfortable. We got lots of great chit-chat and some really useful recommendations on local places to go and eat during our stay!

The price was very reasonable! I would say very cheap, but coming from Boston, everything seemed very inexpensive by comparison. So I can't speak to the usual rate in Nashville for salon services. Bonus points to them for commenting on my instagram post in which I tagged them. Very thoughtful. Absolutely no complaints!

I was in town for a wedding and decided last minute that I wanted to get my hair cut/styled and a manicure. I rely on Yelp, saw Harlow's Salon with good reviews and only 1.5 blocks from the house my party was staying at. I was able to get a next day appointment, hair with Chelsea and nails with Kellie. Chelsea was great. She listened to what I wanted. Also, provided me with tips on how I can add more body to my hair.

In addition, she explained what products she was using and why. Love my cut and how my hair was styled! Kellie was just as fabulous. She did a wonderful job on my nails. I would recommend. If I lived in the area, would be a client.

ALWAYS a great experience at this salon! They are incredibly talented and very attentive to their clients. Haley does my hair and always makes me feel beautiful! They are undoubtedly the best salon in Nashville!

I have been going to Harlow since they moved from Demonbreun and went with them when they moved to Jo Johnston. Their staff has been wonderful since my first visit several years ago, and continue to be amazing! I have a crazy work schedule so I usually schedule a last minute appointment and they are almost always able to accommodate me. I never choose which stylist I get because I'm not super picky, and they have all been amazing!

I had Eva today and she was WONDERFUL. I gave her a rough idea of what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations without even needing much direction. She also did my brows and did an amazing job. I highly recommend Harlow and would recommend them to anyone!

I've been going to Harlow for about 5 years (my longest long-term relationship!), so I figured it's high time I wrote a review! Carly Rae is my go-to girl. She knows what I want when I don't even know myself, which is about 93% of the time. She crafts gorgeous colors and head-turning haircuts with ease. She's basically a wizard/goddess with a pair of shears.

My blonde has never been healthier or more on point. THANK YOU, CARLY RAE! I also can't say enough about the rest of the staff. Due to a sometimes erratic work schedule and limited availability, I need to see another stylist. Well, after 5 years, I've successfully worked my way around to every chair in the building, and they're all extremely talented, kind, and accommodating. They're also very knowledgeable on out-of-salon maintenance (they carry my favorite TIGI products!), so I can keep my hair in tip-top form between appointments. Harlow offers cut, color, extensions, Brazilian Blowouts, makeup applications, blow outs, styling services, waxing services, and pretty smiling faces!

I can't count how many friends I've sent their way that rave about them. You and your hair will be in great hands. Literally. *ZING!* Pro tip: try and book your appointment in advance, because their schedules fill up quickly -- especially around the holidays, Valentine's Day, and local awards show days. Thank you, Harlow, for always taking the best care of me! I'd kiss you on the mouth if I could. (Did I just make it weird?) But seriously, I can't say enough good things. Client for life!

I have been going to Harlow now for about 6 months. Carly Rae is amazing. She has done blonde multidimensional color on me, we did babe extensions for my wedding and now she just gave me my new summer look and gave me a trendy short haircut! Everyone there is super friendly, love being able to chat with Carly, Kayla, Kendra and Justin every time!
