Best Hair Dresser Nashville - Shawn Morris at Imagine Design Team! When I first got to Nashville a year ago, I was also in transition from having self dyed black hair for years. I was kinda scared to be honest to go to a hair dresser again. My hair grows fast and I'm going grey now. ack what to do? I wanted to find a nice and good hairdresser in a town I'd just moved to. Luckily I found Shawn. She's so lovely and is a specialist at color.

She fixed things in my first visit so I was super happy AND she didn't make me feel bad at my own attempts at coloring my hair. I'm so happy with her and she is just super nice and makes the whole experience easy and lovely.

Haley is the bomb for hair color! She took the time to get to know me during my first visit to see what I was looking for. Her recommendations have always been spot on. She is perfect at translating what I say onto my head! Fabulous salon, with a cute boutique too. Call early for Haley though - she is super busy but well worth the wait!

I'm going through that awkward phase of grey coming in strong, but not all over. Ack! I've mostly been doing my own dye jobs at home. I didn't really like the idea of having to go to a salon now, but I'm so happy to have found Shawn at Imagine Design Team. It's such a lovely friendly and comfortable salon. Kelly did my cut and color. Cut was fine But this color is awful. She did a highlight/lowlights thing but in weird tones and like chunky lines at the top of my head AND DIDNT TONE IT I was so upset I called my best friend (does some hair color but not often) asking if I can just box dye over it before my boyfriend saw this mess Not mentioning that she pushed me back over an hour (I had a nail appointment I had to cancel because of it) Id post this pictures if I could

Shannon and Kayla at Imagine Design Team Hair Salon absolutely saved me today. I got a horrendous hair cut at Ulta yesterday, called and walked in this morning and they completely fixed it. I walked out of there looking completely different and feeling confident. I couldn't recommend this salon enough, go make an appointment with them!

Shawn at Imagine is the best! She has cut and colored my super-challenging (straight, cowlicks, mind of its own) hair for MANY years and keeps it looking great. Also, she listens and advises me when I'm ready to make changes. But my favorite thing about Shawn is what a wonderful person she is - I look forward to my haircuts because I get to see her!

I won't trust anyone else with my hair. I have been a client of Shawn's with Imagine Design Team for several years. When I moved to Nashville back in 1999, I had a fear of finding a stylist I could trust. Shawn changed that for me. I love that she is a trained expert in color and design. Not only is she fantastic as a stylist, she also offers great suggestions in regards to products and lifestyle to maintain my hair health.

The staff at Imagine Design Team is fantastic; they make me feel like family. If you need a team of stylists you can trust to listen to you in what you want for your hair & deliver, Imagine Design Team is the place to be!

I went to Kelly and granted she is very sweet and did a good cut. the color however is not at all what I asked for. I asked for darkest brown with blue undertones and absolutely no red. And it turned out almost dark brown with red in my roots only. It actually looks like my roots are still out grown because they are light and then it turns dark the rest of my hair.

Which as never happened to me once. No matter how grown out my roots are. She was super nice and friendly and she did a good job just the color wasn't what I wanted at all. But I still recommend her. I think maybe she got distracted and just forgot about the no red and blue undertones. It's just hair so no big deal. And the cut was great, very pretty I loved it. Just the color was a huge disappointment.

This as a nice and classy place! I really wanted to like it a lot! I looked this place up in google. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the employees were really nice. 1 the person cutting my hair could even style my hair the right way. 2 I left out of their with hair all over my face. And this place is suppose to be the best? I don't think so!

Was looking for a new hairstylist in the Nashville area and came across Imagine on Yelp actually. I was scheduled for a haircut with Kelly, and she did an amazing job! I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to get down, and kelly was patient and helped me come to a decision. She did an A-line for me, and it's probably the best one I've had done (had it done about 4 different times in the past). She also styled it for me, and explained how I can do the look myself at home. Overall super excited to go into work with my new hair. I highly recommend booking with Kelly!

I've been going to Shelby at Imagine Design for a year now and couldn't be happier! I always leave happy. Shelby knows I would love to have a wild hair color but work in a conservative industry so she helps me balance my wild side perfectly through fun cuts and "natural" hair colors. I would highly recommend Shelby and Imagine Design team!

After years of high quality hair cuts/color from Franklin stylist that unfortunately came with regular late starts and unnecessarily long highlighting, my sister steered me to Shelby at Imagine. So happy she did! For more than a year, Shelby has been ready on time and usually early, does amazing highlighting on my hair, and has even offered free bang trims if I needed between cuts.

I haven't been able to squeeze in that bang offer with work schedule yet appreciate it all the same. The place is convenient, comfortable, has parking, and has been good with a late cancelation (week of cut) when I needed to do so. Pricing is in line with the market and the time needed for a cut or highlighting/cut is within reason. I am grateful to have Shelby as my stylist.

The only thing I could think of to improve would be availability on Saturday, yet with Shelby working quite late many nights, I can make M-F work. I would highly recommend Shelby and Imagine!

The stylist finished cutting my hair in less than 10 minutes which in my opinion is very short since you spend so much time and effort growing your hair. The end result was decent enough though. The part that I am very unhappy about is the styling. I would have expected a bit of blow drying or combing before trying to curl the hair since I do have thick hair and in some parts it's frizzy.

But instead the stylist only grabbed chunks of my hair and curled it (again without even using a comb). Of course this way the end result does not have enough volume and it's frizzy. Besides, when I got home after 20 minutes of driving most of the curls were gone as you can see in the photo. Furthermore, the stylist did not give me a chance to take a look at the back of hair and possibly express any dissatisfaction. P.S.

The only thing that I'm totally happy about is that I called and they gave me an appointment the same day. UPDATE: Initially I gave a 4-star review but I am changing it to a 2-star review. The curls completely worn off 1 hour into the party and I ended up with unruly even more frizzy than usual hair because of all that heat my hair received without any heat protection. If I hadn't counted on the right-out-from-the-salon hair I would have at least straightened my hair!

Haley did an awesome job cutting my hair. She took the time to ask all the right questions to make sure she gave me the cut I wanted and the cut my hair-type needed. On top of that, she's such a sweet gal so all-in-all a great experience. She's a great hairstylist and person. Love her!

I can't say enough great things about Haley! I have thick curly hair and NO ONE has been able to cut it like she can! I'm pretty awful at styling my own hair but because of the cut, my hair looks good any way I choose to wear it. Before, I feel like my haircut was based on one style. Now, my ponytails like cuter, I can wear my hair curly and it doesn't just look like a rat's nest, and it sits so much better when straightened.

She also helps to guide me on color and it always looks amazing. If you are looking for an immensely talented, knowledgeable, hilarious yet professional stylist.your search has ended!

I went to Imagine Design Team after reading a lot of good reviews and being desperate to have my hair fixed. I booked an appointment with Amber and went in with my fingers crossed. Amber and I discussed what I was looking for and she had no hesitation helping! We talked through cut and color, and she enthusiastically listened and offered suggestions even after I mentioned that I have a sensitivity to hair color.

I casually mentioned that I always wanted some purple in my hair but was never brave enough, and she was even game for giving me a few spots of purple. I never felt like I was being rushed out, even though I was the last appointment before the long weekend. The end result was amazing and Amber was right: I want so much more red and purple! Will definitely be going back!

Haley is the best. I came in with a vague notion and some messed up hair and she made me look like j-lo. So happy I went to her!

Today I visited Imagine Design Team for the fist time. It was so easy to get scheduled - late in the evening I just got the idea to 'have a haircut tomorrow or this week' and yelp said that the highest rated team is not far from my house. I decided to try and sent an appointment request via web-site as it was too late to give a call. The reply came in two minutes with options for this week and we agreed on the date and time that was most convenient for me.

I hate to be late but I was. While Shawn was so friendly and she did a great job. Soon I left with a wonderful hair style and in a perfect mood. Thank you, Shawn. I will come back for sure! p.s. I used the yelp coupon 10 usd off (for the fist time visitors)

Haley makes it happen. I was lucky to get a spot today just walking in and she took care of me like usual. She knows her job and is very skilled at it. If you are new to town or just looking for someone new then call for Haley, she won't disappoint!

I am so excited that I have found a hair stylist! Haley did my hair today and did a fantastic job! I got a color and cut and style and I love it! I usually dread going in and getting my hair done. She didn't turn my hair purple (which has happened several times at past hair salons) and she was very personable. The best part is that she had me in and out in under 2 hours! That's the thing I hate the most about getting my hair done, the time commitment. The salon itself is stylishly decorated and a beverage was offered as soon as I walked in the salon. I couldn't ask for a better cut and color than what I've had since seeing Shelby Suter. She understands the importance of listening to her client and giving them a style that works with their lifestyle. My hair has never looked better! Its healthy, shiny and even when I don't spend much time on it, it looks great! That's the beauty of a great cut.

I just moved to Nashville and was quite worried about finding a stylist here.until I met Sarah! Sarah at Imagine Design Team is fabulous! She's sweet, attentive, and incredibly talented. I've got a chaotic mange of curly hair and she is able to tame it! She's also a complete rock star when it comes to coloring! I couldn't recommend her more highly!

Everyone at the studio is friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable; it's always refreshing to get your hair looking lovely without breaking the bank. So thrilled I found this place!
