Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism I have been going to Altra ever since I followed Jaime there. She's been doing my nails for years now. I like healthy natural nails and thats what she specializes in! And nail art. She's never afraid to try anything I ask. Not to mention, she's a gem. Very sweet and very talented!

Just like the rest of the reviews, Amber Powell is a superstar. The whole team is really friendly and the atmosphere alone always leaves me feeling better leaving than when I walked in. Can't say enough about them, they are all also very safe during Covid times. Thanks for all the great cuts Amber.

This is honestly the best place, period. Tracy is a cut and color magician. I've gone for years. Moved to another part of town 40 minutes away. Tried several salons closer by. Not anything close. LOVE this salon and particularly Tracy.

Amber was simply the best! I was referred to the salon from my friend who has been going to her sister Alicia for years. Amber took her time, her talent and I walked out of there beautiful and confident. I'll be back for sure and you should go too!

I love Altra Salon! They treat you so nice! They use and sale all the newest salon hair products. Tennessee hand made jewelry that is absolutely gorgeous. They stylists are all great there! I'm partial to Amber because she's my stylist, but all of are really great!

Kristen has been my go-to for almost 2 years; I was formerly a barbershop loyalist. After two years of monthly visits, I can honestly say she is the best barber I have ever had. She can consult, style, and cut a variety of hair styles and types; and worked with me all the way from buzz cut to a full head of hair with styling. The owner works in the salon, and has refreshed the look multiple times while maintaining and updating the facility and furnishings.

He and his staff have always been kind and make booking appointments easy (email, phone, text). At some point they will probably need to charge more at some point to keep up with the extreme gentrification going on around them; the skill level of the staff and quality of the service are worth far more than they charge me for a haircut.

I was here today. I needed a haircut urgent. My stylists Kristina was amazing. The lady in the front desk was also amazing. They work by appointment but I was lucky to be able to be served without an appointment. I recommend this place 100%. All people here are very kind.

I love this salon. I tried several salons when I moved here, and they were all either over-priced or over-hyped. This place is neither. I always see Amber, and my hair looks wonderful. She doesn't try to sell me products I don't need, and she always does an incredible job. Their prices are crazy affordable for an urban salon. I send friends here all the time and carry Amber's card around with me to give out. I would (and do) recommend this place to anyone.
