Beth did such a great job! I always like 90s layered haircut but it was kinda hard for me to find a good hair salon outside Nashville(Just doesn't wanna go to downtown unless I absolutely have to). Beth is super sweet and she makes sure she listens to what I want unlike my former hairstylists. The girl Caitlyn (Sorry I might spelled your name wrong) who washed my hair was so gentle and sweet that I almost fell asleep. The front desk lady asked me several time if I need any water or coffee while I was waiting. Overall it's fantastic experience. Def come back for next cut :)

I chose this Salon based on the amount of good reviews as it looked professional. I asked for a wash, trim, and blow-dry. I told the stylist that I naturally have textured hair, not straight, and that my past stylist would dry cut my hair first and then surface cut the split ends. She didn't appear to listen as she cut my hair wet and took several inches off unevenly.
She then blow-dried my hair. Halfway through the blow-dry, she asked me if my hair was curly in one spot or if that was just my natural hair. That's when I told her again, I have textured hair and I asked if she could blow dry it straight. She didn't know how to without using a straightener. She also said she had know idea what I meant by trimming the split ends.
I asked her to try to fix the uneven hair after she said she was done. She attempted but just kind of gave up and I gave in and paid. I don't like to be confrontational so I called later in the day to ask for a refund. I made it clear I didn't want to come back. After playing phone tag several times, I ended up getting my hair fixed elsewhere.

I called in looking for a same day appointment. They were able to get me in with their stylist Trevor. He listened well to my hair needs and gave me a great cut. I've never been "married to" going back to the same salon every time, but this place was very welcoming. I look forward to returning here. Definitely a gem of a salon. Service: Haircut

I went to my appointment that I had booked weeks in advanced and experienced something truly horrific. When I booked the appointment, I explained where my hair was at and where I wanted it to be color-wise. When I got to my appointment, the stylist, Kendra, was almost 20 minutes late to take me back. She asked to see a picture of what I wanted. I went on google and found one very quickly (less than 30 seconds). Kendra walked away to get a quote, even though I didn't ask for one.
When she came back, she said she couldn't give me a quote. I was fine with this, as I didn't ask for one and didn't care. I know that hair appointments cost money. Maybe she thought I couldn't afford it? She proceeded to show me a picture of what she had in mind for my hair. This was completely different than what I described on the phone and completely different than what I showed the stylist when I got there.
I double checked to see why we couldn't do my idea (which I had done before at this same salon) and she said it wasn't possible. I said "uh, okay" and she went to get bleach for the first process. When she got back, I asked again why we couldn't do my idea between the two different appointments I booked, as intricate color usually takes more than one appointment. (I know this, I'm not new to getting my hair done.) Instead of talking to me, she turned around immediately and got the owner.
The owner, at this time, tells me that there is nothing they can do for me because I "took too much time being indecisive". In my mind, I was very decisive about what I wanted. It seemed like Kendra might have been new, because seasoned stylists talk to their clients and don't make them wait 20 minutes past appointment time. And instead of the owner taking the time to come up with other accommodations for my hair goals, she told me there was nothing they could do for me today and that they weren't going to do my hair!
I was shocked. I still had almost 3 full hours of appointment time left! I drove an hour to get there and I waited patiently even though Kendra was unprofessionally late. Honestly, my request wasn't unreasonable. The owner was rude and condescending. Breon denied me service even though I had multiple appointments booked, understood that my hair goals could only be achieved my multiple appointments, and clearly stated what I wanted upfront. I will never go back to this salon and will never recommend.

This is the first salon that I have ever been to that I never have to wait past my appt time. I am promptly greeted and taken back by my stylist. Taylor is the absolute best! Every time I decide to do something different, she takes the time to listen and consult on what she thinks will work. She is extremely detailed and does exactly what you ask for. All of the staff members are so friendly, and I feel like I have a VIP experience every visit. I could not recommend them more!

If you are going to trust someone with your hair, here is the place to go. Not only are they friendly and extremely lovely there, they are highly skilled in their craft. They listen and when I went there they made me feel beautiful again, my hair has never looked this good before. I went in with pink hair and so much damage, they took the time and care to take out the colour, and restore my hair to this soft and bouncy Halo I have now. Couldn't recommend them more highly if I tried.

Stacy is a great stylist, and I will miss her haircuts, but today was my last visit. 25 minute wait for my appointment with another stylist, and I had to leave because I had a full schedule today. I made the appointment with another stylist because my schedule wouldn't work with Stacy's, and that's ok. Most people here give a good haircut. What's not ok is leaving me waiting. That's the way we handle appointments in my business - we make them, and then we keep them.
If we don't, how could we expect to keep a client? They didn't keep the appointment they scheduled with me, and wasted half an hour of my lunch. There are other places to get a haircut, I'll use one of them.

I would highly recommend visiting Breon Hair Salon! I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time during my visit. The shampoo experience was my favorite part- It was very spa-like and relaxing. Everyone from the receptionist to my hair stylist, Stacey, was friendly and professional. My hair stylist, Stacey, did a wonderful job with coloring my hair. She listened to what I wanted and fully delivered! I enjoyed chatting with Stacey and look forward to working with her again.

I wanted to try a different hair salon and landed on Breon. Steven from Salon Blonde is off on my only available days so I gave Breon a shot. I called, scheduled my appointment and was quoted over the phone. I was told the bleach and tone for the stylist was starting at $140. I went to my appointment assuming that quote was accurate. I get to my stylist, sit down, we chat about what I needed and she then proceeds to tell me "Let me go calculate your quote" which I thought was a bit odd being that I was already given one from her.
She then proceeds to tell me it's going to be over THREE HUNDRED dollars for a bleach and tone. Salon Blonde, the exact same service, is only $137 and that is from a level 3 stylist. I'm in the cosmetology industry myself and I know this woman was 100000% trying to get over. Sorry, honey, I'm not paying your rent. I'll never come back again. I'm sticking with Steven.
Not to mention, she didn't even do my roots which is what I paid her over $200 for. It looks like she bleached it and never toned it which was included in the service that I paid for. Maliyah is a hair stylist that I would never go back to and do not recommend to anyone.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! It took me awhile to write this review since I was busy and wanted to be very detailed. I visited Breon hair salon on Dec 8th to get my hair colored red. I chose the salon because based on their Instagram page, the salon looked reputable and claimed to be one of the best hair salons in Nashville. Unfortunately, however, I was very dissatisfied with the service I got.
I wanted a burgundy red color and showed Melody multiple pictures of what kind of color I wanted. As you can see from the pictures below, the color I got was nowhere near burgundy, but more of an orange red with pink tips. My hair was black, so to get it red, she had to first bleach it. I didn't know it at the time, but she didn't use Olaplex or any other bonding treatment, leaving my hair very dry and damaged, and nothing like the color I wanted.
As I had to leave the salon in a hurry, I called them the next day to give them a chance to fix it especially since I already paid Breon over $400. On December 10, Melody added toner and had me sit under heat. When I still did not achieve the color I originally requested, she told me that my hair was too damaged to achieve my color goal and simply told me to keep coming back for more toner treatments and maybe eventually we could get that color. However, she did nothing to try to repair the damage she caused by bleaching my hair.
I specifically asked if she had done an Olaplex treatment and she said it's a treatment I can do at home. I made it clear I was still unsatisfied with the results but was not offered any other options but to come back and spend more money on toner treatments. I left with her making me believe my hair was the problem. As I was still very unhappy with how my hair looked I contacted a color correction specialist and she was kind enough to fit me in the very next day.
After speaking with a color correction specialist, I learned that the problem was not my hair. Savannah was able to achieve the color I requested and helped repair most of the damage Melody did to my hair. In addition she only charged $150 and for extensive repair treatments and complete color correction. I left the salon very happy having achieved exactly what I requested from melody who had made me believe my hair couldn't achieve that color because it was too damaged ( damaged caused by her).
I called and emailed Breon multiple times requesting at least a partial refund to cover the costs of the color correctionist, but no one would get back to me. Breon finally called me on Dec 30th, almost a month after my original complaint. Throughout the phone call, Breon was very condescending and non helpful. Instead of apologizing or trying to find a solution to the issue, she argued that I hadn't given her an appropriate chance to fix the color, because after already giving them one chance to fix my hair, I didn't go back for the 3rd time (this option was never offered to me).
She also tried to claim that she had not been aware of any issues, that my hair looked "fine" on the security cameras, and even went as far as to accuse me of using a filter on my pictures (all of the pictures are taken in exact same lighting with no filters). She then proceeded to tell me she does not do refunds and since another stylist had touched my hair, she was not responsible anymore and there was nothing she could do. I'd like to think I was being very reasonable, only requesting a partial refund to cover the cost of the color correction I had to get done elsewhere.
Instead of offering me any kind of solution or reimbursement whatsoever, both Melody and Breon tried to make me feel like I was the one to blame. As a customer paying a lot of money for a hair color that was subpar at best, nowhere near what I wanted and damaged my hair, I would've expected to at least be treated more professionally.

READ THE BLOCKED REVIEWS FOR A REAL RATING OF THIS SALON. Wow! I have never experienced anything like I just did at this salon. I made an appointment to get my hair highlighted and trimmed before my vacation next week. I was quoted on the phone $150.00 for those two services. I showed up to my appointment early. I waited for the stylist past my appointment time. 20+ minutes after my appointment time, he finally came to get me.
No one told me he was running late and there was no apology from the stylist. I sat in the chair and he confirms what I want done and looked at my hair and said okay, let me get a quote for you. I'll be right back. I found that super odd. I've never had a stylist have to go calculate a quote after I had already been quoted on the phone. Usually they know off hand what the cost will be.
This was my first hint that he was not experienced. He comes back and tells me it's going to be $250.00. I almost fell out of the chair. How is it $100.00 more than what I was quoted? I told him what I was quoted on the phone and he was like a deer in headlights. Then he comes up with "oh they didn't include the toner". I'm like toner isn't $100.00 right? "No, it's $35".
Then he just kept repeating I don't know and it's for extra product and stuff. Judging by the fact he couldn't even have a mature conversation about the issue and had no real explanation for the huge discrepancy in the quote, also tells me he is very new to the profession. Then he said "do you want to talk to someone?" Uhh yeah.like a manager. Breon comes over, I explain the situation and she immediately starts talking down to me and gaslighting me.
I let her know that I'm not a child, I've been getting my hair done for many years and there's literally no excuse for such a huge discrepancy between the price I was quoted and the actual price. Neither her nor the stylist cared. No sincere apology. No meeting in the middle. No accountability on their behalf. So I walked out. Previously, I got my hair done in LA at a salon owned by the personal stylist for Journey and it didn't even cost $250.00 with the tip.
Before that, I went to one of the top salons in Hollywood and it still wasn't that much. Seriously delusional to think a new stylist at a salon located in the parking lot of another business is worth $250.00. I assume, unlike me, most clients get sucked into booking by the initial phone quote then are too embarrassed to leave once they get the real price. Seriously, what kind of business owner justifies charging someone $100 more than what their receptionist quoted them? Now I understand why it was such a production to give me the real quote. Get some integrity Breon.

I hate leaving negative reviews but I've attempted to contact the salon first in an attempt to rectify this, with no response, so here goes. first off I want to say that they were great about getting me in when I needed and the staff were lovely people. However, I was just looking to get my hair cleaned up before my wedding, and just wanted the hair to be blended/ layered to look good.
The haircut I received i was very disappointed in, it looks very choppy and not blended well. I'm hoping they'll contact me so I can improve my rating, as I really wanted to like them. For a 60 dollar very basic haircut (including tip) I'm disappointed in the result. (See pics)

I have the same problem as the gentleman with the different prices. It really is a shame. I would have kept going there but the price has changed constantly with the same stylist and also. It doesn't make sense to me to have a salon and different people with different prices upon how well they do your hair

I was here in the past and the price kept changing with the same haircut/color and person. My hair was good but frustrated with the consistent price adjustments for the same service. I decided to try again to see if they fixed this issue and called to set up an appointment and was given a range of pricing from the owner. He then set me up with someone who, when I got there, had a completely different price range.
That person then said she could allow someone else to help me at a different price point only to find out that her coloring was slightly lower but her cuts were higher and ended up being the same higher range than originally quoted. I'm not sure how the owner has no idea what his individual staff members charge for their services? I know the argument would be made that he said 'we start at; but here's how it went down: Owner: "we start coloring at $65-95 and cuts at $25 and you'll be with Stylist A".
I walk in and Stylist A says "my coloring starts at $120 and cuts at $30" but it could be more depending on how much color. Then I get passed to Stylist B who says "my coloring starts at $110 and cuts at $40" but could be more. I was told I wasn't right for this salon for asking questions about how much it would actually be. Is it that hard for the salon owner to say that Stylist A has an opening and the cut and color would be around $150 (depending on if my hair was different from what I described)?
I wouldn't have an issue with that, it's just the constant price changes every time and not knowing how much anything is going to be until after everything is done. I just don't get it.

Taylor R is amazing. I am always so impressed with my hair leaving the salon. She takes time to listen and understand what I want done, and clarifies to make sure we're on the same page. 10/10 experience every time. Taylor as well as others who work in the salon are so sweet and I always look forward to getting my hair done!

I just had the most wonderful experience here! I'm from out of town and I am a hairstylist myself and wanted me red hair refreshed and a blow out. Taylor accommodated my color service and did a wonderful job! Then Anna Gray shampooed my hair and gave me a wonderful blow out! The salon is gorgeous and the customer service is amazing! I will definitely come back if I return to Nashville!

I have been coming to Breon's for 10+ years. Great salon! I usually just see which ever stylist has an opening for the day I need because I don't have a very flexible schedule. I've always gotten great service. There was one time that I had a bad experience with a stylist, I won't name her because she was probably just having an off day, and I was the person in her chair. I notified the salon, Breon personally called me, apologized, and refunded me. That all was not required, but I certainly appreciated the wonderful customer service.

I've been coming to this salon for 4 years and had nothing but good things to say about the customer service and their services until my appointment yesterday. While I'm thrilled with the my cut, color, and highlights, I've never been more disappointed in a customer service experience after getting off the phone with the owner, especially after being a loyal patron for 4 years and spending almost $300 in services the day before.
I called to let them know that there was hair dye on my dress that I only noticed on my drive home (somehow no one else saw this even after they took a picture of my hair from behind.). I was told to bring my dress in to have it dry cleaned, which would mean driving 20 minutes out of my way to drop it off at the salon and another 20 minutes to pick it up when I travel for work 5 days a week.
I told the owner it would be more convenient to take it to my own dry cleaner and send her the bill, but was told this wasn't an option and that her "time, money, and business was just important as mine", and that she's a "busy woman, working 80 hours a week with a family, so this was as much of an inconvenience for her as it was for me".
She also suggested that maybe I caused this by scratching my head or moving as this had only ever happened once before at her salon. Long story short, they consistently do a great job with haircuts and I am happy with the end result of my coloring, but don't wear nice clothes to your appointment that you'd be upset if dye got on. And more importantly, hope you never have to interact with the owner because she is the farthest thing from a customer service oriented individual I've ever met, and in her book, the owner is always right. This salon has lost my business strictly off of the way the owner handled this situation.
I called in the morning to see if they had availability and luckily they were able to get me in the same afternoon. It had been quite some time since I'd gotten my hair cut because the last person who cut it (back in Portland) left it pretty uneven, but I figured it was time to get it cut again. Darrah did a wonderful job cutting my hair and spent time to make sure it was nice and even.
She also engaged me in conversation and didn't leave an awkward silence which I appreciated. Also, the girl who shampooed my hair gave me a relaxing scalp massage during the process. It was an overall great experience and I love how my hair turned out!

This salon is great! It was very inviting from the moment I waked in the door. Ashley was my stylist and Joy assisted! They were GREAT! I got a cut and partial color today. I showed Ashley a picture of the color blonde and the cut that I wanted and she did an amazing job. I have thick hair which is usually very hard for people to style and Ashley has no problem. I would trust her with me life now xoxo

My experience at Breon was really nice! The first time, I went to change a blonde ombre to more of a dark red balayage. My stylist, Amber, was super friendly and the shampoo was awesome. I've never had a head massage during a shampoo before! Unfortunately, for some reason, the color started fading really quickly. After three weeks, I was almost back to blonde.
I went back today and Amber fixed it free of charge! She is a great stylist and really cares about her clients! My hair looks awesome now, and I would recommend Amber to anyone!

After visiting multiple "highly recommended" salons in the Nashville area, I stumbled across Breon and have been coming back for about two years now! I moved down here 3 years ago and could not find a salon that was worth the price, treated me fairly, and knew what to do with my curly hair. I'm beyond grateful that I didn't just accept a salon based on its Nashville popularity and kept searching for other highly rated salons. Breon has a nice chic touch and open salon with a wide array of products!
The staff are always so welcoming and personal. Ashlee has been consistently wonderful with my curls and recommendations without being overly pushy and turning me off! She takes her time with my hair and makes sure everything is perfect before I leave. In addition to that, she knows how to interact with me while I'm in the chair without making it uncomfortable (cause a salon visit shouldn't be awkward!) and respects that I like to just sit back and relax too! Highly recommend giving Breon an opportunity, you will not be upset!

Update as of March, 2Used to be great. Until this last cut. Last two cuts were great a-line bobs.and the stylist is truly a sweetheart. This time, one side is a-line, the other, not at all the same. Owner Breon on the phone was so freaking rude, I knew I couldn't ever return, as mutual respect is fundamental and integral in a business relationship-especially with something as personal as a haircut!
The entire phone call, I wasn't asked specifically what was wrong. Instead, I was told that the stylist told her she cut it exactly the same as the last two times therefore it can't possibly be messed up. She even tried to prove her theory *mathematically* (laugh) without. Having. Ever. Seen. My haircut. As I said, I love the stylist-won't mention her name, that wouldn't be nice- but this time it just wasn't her typical 'wow' haircut. Instead, one side is longer than the other and there isn't a definite angle. I'm also now sooo self-conscious leaving the house as TWO neighbors mentioned one side being longer than the other.
The haircut was not exorbitant as such, but I will be having to pay for another within the next week JUST to at least even up the sides cause it's embarrassing! And deflating. Really bummed, yet infuriated by the treatment I received from the owner. Pics to be added soon so *maybe* the owner can see the err of her assumptions and can-do-no-wrong attitude.
Two stars because I loved the last two haircuts, and love the stylist but the rudeness of the owner was the worst I've experienced sans an experience at William Edge a couple/ few years ago. Keep in mind, this is a teaching salon, so a perfect experience cannot be completely expected; however, remedial actions should follow should something like this happen. As you can see in the photos, this is barely angled, and not a true a-line bob. On either side.

If you are looking for a basic, natural color job, look no further. However, if you are wanting a more trendy or bold look, I wouldn't suggest coming here. It's definitely more on the lower scale of the high end salons in the Nashville area. I also suggest double (or triple) checking with your artist on the color you're going for BEFORE she begins. Lastly, I don't understand how they can charge $50 for a haircut that took less than 4 minutes of snipping. Needless to say, I won't be wasting anymore money at this salon.

I received a response from my last review (you can see the response in my previous review) but as you can see the hair salon did not attempt to try to make amends or apologize for their mistake and instead passed me off as some one who gave a fake review to a salon I've never been to. I have in fact been to your salon before as you can check via your record system I also receive emails from your hair salon including specials on services which clearly means I've been to your salon and signed up for the email updates. I have pictures of the mistake that happened to my hair if you would like for me to post those in order to prove that I have been to your salon?
