Love this salon. Do yourself a favor and ask for Christine! She has been doing my cuts and color for years and is the only one I trust with my hair. She is an incredibly talented stylist/colorist and overall wonderful human. I know I can always count on her to make me look and feel like a superstar.

I've been putting my hair in Christine's hands for more than an year now and I can say that she is one of the best stylists I've ever had. She is very professional, always on time, knows how to cut and style hair amazingly well and most importantly she is an amazing person. She takes her time to evaluate and propose the best solution possible for what you are asking her to do.

For men looking for a haircut above the basic standards of a local Supercuts/Sportsclips, R Salon is a fantastic salon! The hair stylists are veterans in their trade and deliver reliably great cuts while also offering great suggestions to update your style. Growing my hair longer since the pandemic started, RSalon has been great in keeping my hair yet sharp!

Christine at R Salon just gave me the best highlights and color correction I have ever gotten at any Salon! I came with brittle, super bleached hair with dark roots and she made my hair look like it did when I was a teenager! She is a genius with color and higlights! I highly, highly recommend her and rate her work and professionalism with ten stars!

Every time I visit R Salon I expect nothing but the best results. Christine is always making miracles in my hair. I trust her so much because she is a professional and always suggests the best solution for my hair.

The staff is incredibly and unbelievably rude. My wife had a hyper immune response to the moderna vaccine and I had to cancel well in advance of our appointment during the omnicron surge. They refused to book an appointment for us because if that. Wow! That's all I have to say on that score. So much for their compassion snd humanism. Their cuts weren't that great either and one time we went they said we didn't have an appointment when we did. So I guess it's ok for them to cancel once we got there but not ok for me to cancel because if concerns over my wife's health. Never ever again.

It's a very modern and chic salon, has a bit of a city feel with the light fixtures and mirrors. I have cut my hair with a few of the stylists and none of them ever disappoint! I love this place. I've had two blowouts and a cut from Christine and am so glad I found this place. The prices are very reasonable and there is easy parking right in front of the entrance. Christine is so sweet and has such great recommendations for things to do in the area, she gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Will be back soon!

I highly recommend both the salon and my stylist Christine. She has an amazing eye for color, and I always leave looking fantastic. She has also always been helpful in showing me how to maintain that professional look that we all strive for at home. The rest of the staff are super sweet and very accommodating. The prices are reasonable. Finally I like the sleek modern design of the salon interior (which is immaculate BTW).

I have been seeing Inalvis for a few years. She really takes the time to hear my needs and to ensure that she does a great job. Her colleagues are always nice, making my visit very comfortable. In the many years that I have been coming to R Salon, the front desk staff always calls to remind me of my appointment, Inalvis runs on time ( or extremely close) and everyone makes me feel welcomed. It is a salon worth visiting.

I just moved to the area and was in desperate needs of a good and reasonably priced salon and I found just that! Christine was my stylist and she beyond amazing! She is a true professional and gave me such a fabulous haircut and blowout! And my hair is so tough.curly, frizzy, thick, dry etc so even more kuddos to her! I am so so so happy with her work. R Salon just gained a loyal customer.

I found R Salon about a month ago based on a Google review & I was happy I went. Been here twice so far for blowouts/trim. Everyone is so very nice. I usually just advertise them on my IG: Violetskybeautyny This Trim and fix of layers and blowout was done by Inalvis! She's great. Also Glenda is great too! Can't wait to go to Tommy to change my look sometime in the future. Their prices are on the higher end but it is Edgewater and you pay for the good work. Just call front desk & Connie will take care of your appointment needs.

AWESOME PLACE! Christine is fabulous. I could not find a stylist that would make my hair a bright beigey blond. All the highlights I have gotten recently at different salons have been gold. Until I found Christine. She did exactly what I wanted. This is my new place from now on! Loved it.

It was my first time there since I just moved to the area, so I was a bit nervous! This place is amazing! Staff is super nice, very clean and super punctual. I was seen by Farrah and she nailed my vision! They are the best!

I had a blowdry, cut and color from stylist Maria today (whom I've known for about five years.) And now I feel great and I look a heck of a lot better than I did going in! :) She did a lovely job with my hair. The color is beautiful (shade 8 and 9 blended), the hair cut makes my hair look very healthy and the blowout is lovely too. - The salon was clean, the people were pleasant, there were plexiglas dividers between the hair stylists for maximum safety.

I also felt their prices were reasonable, and the quality was high for the services. - They will see me again for the usual services! IF you're on the fence, get rid of the half-done bedraggled Covid hair look and give yourself a treat! You'll feel so much better and you'll look good in time for the Christmas holidays.

This salon is the best. It left my hair looking AMAZING. I was really nervous to try a new salon and honestly I don't regret trying this place out. I will definitely return. I recommend Christine. Everyone was very polite and friendly. Highly recommend!

Great service, always, whenever I need a cut they can fit me in that week. Had the pleasure of getting my latest cut by William. He is really fantastic, I sent my husband to him as well. Definitely loyal to R Salon!

I have decided not to go this place again for the below reasons: - the ladies at the reception desk are very rude ( put a little smile on your face) - they only accept cash and never offer a receipt. - they overly charged my elderly mom for a short haircut at $70 ( I have long hair I pay $65) - they don't dry my hair after a root touch up! My choices are either to pay for a blow dry or they hand a blow dryer to me and I dry my hair myself. This is not acceptable.

Love this salon! After moving to the area in 2018, I was in need of a good stylist. Yelped this place and that's how I found Farrah! She's amazing and takes time to make sure your hair looks great. Came back twice already and will keep going :

I recently moved to the west New York area and was in need of a good hairdresser. I have a long frequented a salon in Montclair but that's too far to drive now so I found the salon on yelp actually. Made an appointment with Farrah to get color, highlights and a haircut/blowout. As you know it can be pretty scary to go with a new hairdresser when you had the same person for so long because a girl doesn't need her 'do To look crazy. Farrah was awesome, she took so much time and asked me many questions about my hair and what I had previously done to it etc.

My hair looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. Tommy, the owner of the salon is lovely, as well and so were all the other people that were working in there. Everyone smiles and greets you. It's really nice and comfortable inside. I've even sent my daughter who needed some color correction done, to Farrah the next week and she is super pleased as well. I highly recommend this salon and I'm pretty sure that all of the stylists are good based on what I saw it coming and going during my time there.

A few years ago I was looking for someone who does guys' hair, so my wife said I should ask at hey salon, and someone set me up with Christine. I have never looked back. She does my hair perfectly, every time, making it look good in ways I never thought possible. I know I can trust her to figure out a good look with little direction. She's smart and funny, fun to talk to, and doesn't make you feel self conscious or like a dumb "guy." I have been very fortunate to find her, and recommend her to any guys out there who want their hair to look good, all the time.

I highly recommended this salon. CHRISTINE did balayage on my hair and she did an AMAZING job as always. She cared a lot about damaging my hair as little as possible. My hair is unbelievably very smooth and soft. She's so sweet and the nicest person I've ever met. I haven't stopped getting compliments since I stepped out of the salon. I'll be returning for all my hair needs.

They go out of their way to accommodate and please here! On my first visit the manager went out of his way to make a colorist available to see me the same day! I was introduced to Farrah Molina, who I was confident within minutes of speaking with her that she could accomplish exactly what I was looking for with my hair - and she delivered! Highly recommend! Clean, comfortable and cozy shop that has convenient parking and great value!

Jenni is amazing. She helps me not only look good, but helps me maintain my hair well on my own. She is friendly and kind! Everything is super clean and everyone is nice there. Always a great experience!

R Salon is a wonderful place to get a haircut. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The employees and employer are quite friendly and attentive to your all your needs. I usually get my hair cut with Christine. She is a great comversationist and an even better hair dresser. I feel like I'm getting a really cheap therapy session, except when I leave I feel good and look good. I would recommend R Salon to anyone (male, female adult or child) who needs a professional cut in a clean calming environment for a competitive price.

I have been going to R salon now for just under 10 years so this is actually a follow up review. The salon is very chic and modern, inviting and warm. There is on site parking, a nice waiting area as well as snacks if you have to wait a couple of minutes. Inalvis has been cutting my hair since I moved into the area. She is very professional and friendly.

She will listen to your needs and give you honest feedback as to what can and can't be done. She will not try and sell you services you don't need or want. She is not a pushy salesperson like you would find in other areas. Another thing I've noticed, she's great with kids! Thinking about a new salon or stylist, give R salon and Inalvis a shot! You will be happy you did!

Chalk up another member for Team Christine. My hair had gotten so long I could tuck it into the back of my jeans- time for an update. Christine helped take off the unnecessary length and gave me a classic style. She even took a picture for me afterwards. Thanks Christine!
