Disappointed I was referred to this salon by a friend and the great reviews! I had a consult appointment with John (because I wanted him to do my hair). He truly understands hair and what his client wants but unfortunately he is not available for new clients. He owns other businesses out of the Country that he manages during the winter months. He set me up with one of his employees; Nadia.
I honestly would not have attended the consultation if I knew John couldn't do my hair. My friend recommended him or his wife. John wrote a plan for my hair, never mentioned doing permanent color. Well Nadia did. Some background- I came to the salon with partial highlights blending my grays. I decided I wanted to go darker for the winter months and during my consultation John mentioned going back to my natural color would allow new growth for my hair.
He pointed out some breakage from years of processing my hair. Nadia suggested permanent color and said this would be low maintenance which is what I was looking for since at the time was 3 months postpartum with a preemie. She told me I wouldn't need to come back for at least 2 months. Well 2 weeks went by and my grays were popping out! When I returned to her for a root touch up, she told me that permanent color is not a good choice for me and how I should consider doing baby highlights.
I told her how disappointed I was to hear her say that because that's what I had before she stripped my hair with permanent dye! She told me to buy "the spray at Costco to cover grays." Oh okayyy take my money while I enjoy 2 weeks coverage then I can spray my grays! Unreal! (The touch up appointment she tried a new product on my roots, not what she used the first time and my roots are turning orange.
Why offer consultation appointments if they don't follow them?) Because I'm postpartum I am pressed for time so this most recent appointment I did not schedule a blowout and mentioned while scheduling my appointment that I would just do a quick blow dry on myself. Well because of Covid, they told me after I finished getting shampooed that I wasn't allowed to use the hair dryer.
I left with soaking wet hair in 14* degree weather. I was parked around the block. If I knew about the new rule forbidding me to use a hair dryer I would've scheduled on another day with a blowout but this was not relayed to me at the time of scheduling my appointment or when they called a day before to confirm. They suggested I wait a half hour to pay for a blowout. I had to get home to breastfed my baby. They didn't give me a heads up. They lost my business.

First Adriana and her husband are the most dynamic duo who not just have the experience necessary to create a masterful vision yet also have the most creative eye to work with the individual. Both LISTEN and both will sit down with you, look you in the eye and have a conversation as to what your vision is with cut and color. I have traveled around the world and have had hair cuts and color treatment from Paris to Newbury Street in Boston. Spa Adriana has been THE MOST POSITIVE experience I could ever ask for.
My hair was damaged due to over processing and now I finally feel after literally over several years, that I have BEAUTIFUL hair. No other hair or color salon shall get my business as I LOVE SPA ADRIANA!

I can't speak highly enough of this salon. Salon Adriana is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting and coloring. I can assure you will not be disappointed! Each member of the Spa Adriana team is thoughtful and careful and make sure to spend time with each client, making any adjustments that are needed. I am very pleased with the services I've received here and will continue to come back time after time. Trust them with your head, you won't regret it!

Gina Torres has been colorist for the past 20 years. Her expertise takes years off as my hair looks it's natural best from her skill and the wide array of Aveda products. Their facials are good, too. Overall, the staff is friendly, professional, and unpretentious. Spa Adriana is a one stop spot for beauty and relaxation. I look forward to my appointments.

The combination at this salon of talented professionals, friendly, on time service, cleanliness that is sooooo important now, and great Aveda products is not to be beat. My curly, unruly hair thrives here and I am always happy with the result. I used to work in the city and tried many celebrity salons over the years, with sometimes unhappy results. I would trust Adriana anytime to cut my hair -- always flattering, fun to talk with and I get an education too! Thanks, Spa Adriana gang.

I love Aveda products, and found Spa Adriana when I moved to the Huntington area several years ago. Nadiya is an artist with balayage, and I get so many compliments on my hair - even as it grows out and the look "evolves"! My teen daughters just had their super-long hair cut into far shorter styles by "Little" Gina and Sydney, and they both look amazing!
We are all so happy after our girls' day at Spa Adriana, where the atmosphere is clean and beautiful, and the staff are all so nice. It is a bit pricey, but absolutely worth every penny for the incredible work they do! Highly recommend!
