I asked for long curtain bangs and long, subtle layers and i even told her before she started cutting that i did not want her to go any shorter than the tip of my nose and i also only asked for 2 inches cut off. She cut me bangs up to my eyebrows, cut AT LEAST 4 inches off, and made the layers so choppy. One side was also shorter than the other. If you go to get a hair cut and the person cutting is a young person with dark hair and dark makeup, ASK FOR ANOTHER PERSON. this haircut ruined my self confidence.

The 5 stars are because of the service and attention I received from Melissa. I had gone to the salon earlier in the day for a hair color from another stylist and was not happy with the color that was done. I wanted a dark auburn and somehow ended up with a bright orange. Needless to say I was very unhappy and called back to get it corrected. When I arrived Melissa took the time to ask me questions, had me look up pictures to show her the color I wanted, and made suggestions to get the desired color.
She did not rush me along and made sure I was happy with the results. Never have I had a colorist take so much time to make sure that the color was what I had originally wanted. While I had felt a bit uncomfortable and was a bit apprehensive upon returning for the appointment Melissa took the time to reassure me that she would do all that she had to to get the color I wanted.
I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this as Melissa turned a negative experience into a positive one and because of the time and care she took with me I will most definitely be returning to the salon to see her.

I want to say thank you to Kate for doing such an amazing job on my hair the day of my wedding in October of 2020! She did such a beautiful job for me and my family that one of my sisters planned on not getting hers done and then saw Kates outstanding work and asked her to squeeze her in also! Kate is kind, enjoyable, and soooo talented. She understood my vision and added her professional touch for the perfect hair style.
Thank you for being so reliable and making my special day easy and fun! Everyone loved their hair and felt confident and beautiful because of you! And my hair held perfectly all day even in the crazy wind on top of a mountain for our ceremony!

Valerie was so great in coloring my hair. I also appreciate the front desk lady Heather as she was very pleasant and kind. I was the last customer in the salon but she did not rush the process and took time getting to the perfect full hair highlight I wanted. I am now a regular customer because of her.

Extremely professional, very friendly, Melissa is a color magician! I had my hair done at Hairport in port Jeff on main st. In October they totally messed it up were totally unprofessional just wanted to sell you garbage while you were there. Melissa was able to fix the disk that they did and was able to make me leave extremely happy with the results.she listens to exactly what you want and acts on it.so glad I finally found a profile place and person to do my hair. Love it Melissa. I will recommend this Salon and Melissa to everyone. Thank you so much for fixing my husband's most prized posession (my hair) He was very happy to.

I didn't have an option of giving it no stars or I would have terrible experience! Melissa colored my hair she has the personality of a doorknob. I was told that possibly because she was rushing and a little behind on her time that's why she was the way that she was. Not my problem Melissa if you miss manage your time! I did not get the name of one of the women at the front desk she was just as unpleasant.
I was giving wrong information on the phone that there would be an additional charge for a glaze of $10 and then I get there and it's $25 then they tell me that they'll accept my Groupon but they can't anymore because I've been there before. I've never been there before and MELISSA says I was there 6 months ago and she did my hair. well obviously Melissa has a face recognition problem.
She's NEVER done. My hair EVER TO me going and getting your hair done is a time to relax and pamper yourself my whole afternoon which my appointment was 2:30 and because I was 15 minutes late she proceeded to let me wait an hour.it was horrible save you money do not go there. Very aggravated and disappointed I'm more pissed off that I even bother to leave her a tip she did do a service but she DID NOT deserve a tip.
I am just a decent person and did the right thing. MAYBE if she didn't get one and it hurts her pocket she might change your attitude. I believe A happy customer is the best word of mouth and an unhappy customer is your nightmare.
