The student did not cut my hair right on one side. The highlights turned out good but you couldn't notice them that well. The prices are very reasonable so yeah I just put that it's true

I had high hopes but my haircut was awful. it's uneven which i didn't notice until i got home, i was given curtain bangs when i only asked for face framing and i was there for about 3 hours for just a haircut and pedicure. the pedicure was good but took over an hour to do. the haircut was fine until the face framing pieces. the student cut one too short and only called the instructor over when i said something and at that point there was really nothing she could do.

I had facial, hair scalp treatment and hair cut. i felt my hair is more rough after the scalp treatment and facial you can't call facial lol coz she only cleanse my skin for 1 min, then put hot towel on it and then toner for 1 minute, wet towel for 1 min, moisturizer for 1 min, then wet towel and scrub 1 min and then wet towel for 1 min and some creme mask for 4 mins lol and my facial was done. not sure what's if it was cleansing my face only and no massage included at all. i felt more stressed after facial, very sad to say that. i wasted my $36 for the services completely. not going there again at all.

I called to try to make an apt and the girl who answered was so rude towards me. She had a horrible attitude and actually ignored me asking a question then said do you need anything else. Needless to say I didn't make an apt

Waited over an hour AFTER paying before my son was even taken back. Only one customer left during that time. They were also throwing some celebration for a single graduate, so ZERO focus was on getting customers in. Almost an hour since he went back and he STILL isn't done. IF YOU DECIDE TO COME HERE YOU NEED TO REFUSE TO PAY UNTIL SERVICE IS RENDERED BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY IF YOU ARE TIRED OF WAITING OVER AN HOUR AFTER PAYING.

I'm never bringing him here again when I can be in an out of Amstel in less than an hour with both of us getting services. The management and instructors need to attend customer service classes, which would include prioritizing the people in front of you and not "paperwork I just gotta get done" and making excuses about how one guy is in the office or whatever. I don't care the reason, customers come FIRST.

Ive been coming here for many years. The staff are always polite, and professional, and they offer an excellent value for a fair price. Thank you for going out of your way to squeeze me into the schedule.

Bailey was incredibly attentive and a joy to have her cut my hair!

I went to this school in the nail tech program. they say they train you to be in a salon setting, well let me tell y'all about my experience. Every single teacher in that building always told me my work looked good, i didnt need to fix anything, everything was perfect, even though half the time i knew it looked a mess, i never touched nail supplies in my life.

They don't sit down with you to make sure what your doing is right, they don't teach you how to be efficient. I went to a salon for a interview. boy was I humiliated, i couldnt move fast enough for them some of my techniques i learned in school was not the appropriate way. I didnt even know how to use CUTICLE CUTTERS, because schilling Douglas doesn't allow them. All i want to say is anyone looking to do this specific program DO NOT!

Besides the polish they use is VERY OLD. The lady who did my nails was very nice. I was there for hours to have my nails painted and pedicure. The finished look - that turned out very clumpy- and piled on thick. It had to come off or get all over my clothes soon as I got home. Help these ladies out with polish that isn't old. I can honestly say: I do a better job with my left hand. I'm right handed. A- for effort I give her!

Love getting my hair done here. Gives the students experience & the teachers check to make sure the styles are done right. Would recommend going here. Call ahead for appointment, since COVID 19. But worth it. Hair, nails, manicure, pedicure, waxing, etc. And wonderful gift packages available too

I always enjoy coming here. I have found the instructors to be pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Most students are open to assistance and constructive criticism. Remember this is a school and the students are learning, they are not professionals yet. I have found that they do try and really want to do a good job. I've had many different services over the years and have been pleased with the cuts, colors and styles.

For a hair school, I was a little leery. A relative was raving about this place & I was visiting, thought to give it a try. The best move ever. I went in during their evening hours. Waited about 10 minutes, was greeted by a student named Tatum. She was personable, friendly, courteous, thorough, & most importantly she knew how to deal with my hair.

I have natural hair with 2 different textures. She didn't use extreme heat, no pulling, gave hair tips & all with a smile! Since my initial visit, whenever I am visiting the area, I visit Schilling-Douglas & cross my fingers that Tatum is working. THANK YOU TATUM!
