1/23/21-Waited 2 hours to be seen, while having my highlights done she was also working on 3 others who needed highlights, not sure of what happened but by end of my session I lost 5 inches of some areas of my hair, hair was thin and no where near the color I asked for, not sure if she left color in too long or didn't mix proper coloring or if her staff mixed incorrectly because they were dealing with too many customers at once.

I had to go elsewhere to cut my hair because who was coloring my hair did not specialize in cut so let me leave salon with broken hair. I had to cut shoulder length recolor and start over. Also left countless messages by phone and on IG and kept being ignored until they finally had a moment to hear about my complaint and instead of owning made excuses, being my first time there as a client and being a referral was very disappointed and found to be very unprofessional.

Hate leaving reviews but make sure to go to a salon that when you make your appointment that appointment is all about you and that they give you their expertise knowledge on what they will be doing and what may or may not happen 5/21/22- replying back on owners response i normally dont review at all but what was done to my hair and false report given, now 1 year later you guys respond how would you even remember.

I never once said i used red box dye and my complaint was not so much color correction because I understand color may not take and need more sessions but that's besides the point you guys were so late had me wait so long and had too many other clients you were highlighting to keep up that when it was finally my time the salon already closed and everyone left to the point that i left with my hair wet and not blow dried so how would i have known was damaged and broken and bad color when job was half done that's why I reached out next day with photos and will attach to my review as well.

Could have been handeled more professionally instead you finally suggested for me to come in to try to fix which was a big No for me and that's why I went and had to fix elsewhere to start all over when going dark was not my plan, i wanted to stay blonde. Dont lie, Own your wrongs, and give the clients the time and service that is righly deserved that was paid for. Best of luck

Horrible service, the people that own the place are super unprofessional. I came here expecting to come out with my hair looking flawless but instead left crying. When I arrived I waited about 30 mins before someone approached me about my appointment. When she started doing my hair I wanted to trust the process but in the middle of her doing my hair she kept walking away and someone else would come and work on my hair which I did not like at all.

She left the bleach on my hair for a total of 5 hours and even added more bleach as I was sitting there, after waiting forever she washed my hair out and was being super aggressive when combing out my hair, after she washed it out she added more bleach to my hair which she left on for another 30-40'mins until she washed it out and put a toner in my hair.

And I forgot to mention that they leave products in your hair and walk away from you and start working on someone else's hair. After she styled it My hair looked nothing the picture I showed her. I ended up messaging the owner and she told me to come back and she will Fix it at no charge which she did, but again when fixing it and adding the toner to make it look like the color that I asked for the first time, the owner told me she'd leave the toner on for a total of 20 mins but instead left it on for an hour.

Please do not come to a place where they do not care about there clients hair. I went to a different hair salon and a professional saw my hair and asked where I went because my hair was very damaged and dry. Ever since getting it done here my hair has become super thin in which I had to cut off half my hair to get it somewhat healthy again.

I took my daughter here for her 13th birthday today. I've never stepped into here before and immediately the ambiance was so welcoming along with their receptionist. Very kind, polite and helpful. They took us in immediately and even acknowledged it was her birthday. She felt like a true princess and was completely in love with her haircut. It's a very nice, clean place and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you all, for such a wonderful experience today.

Got mine & my sister's hair cut this morning with Thiago & we walked out of there feeling & looking great! He took the best care of our hair & recommended products so we could take care of it. He was so kind & caring with the both of us, the whole salon is! Very professional & their work is exceptional! I definitely recommend stopping by if your in need of a haircut or a makeover.

These people who run this business are a joke. I called them on a Friday, explaining that I would be there Tuesday. The lady said fine. I traveled all the way from Stamford CT. I had to walk with a sprained ankle a ways from my car to find them closed. I called them and the lady said we only do out calls on Tuesday. I told the whole deal and she wanted to charge me FIFTY DOLLARS to do an outcall to her own store that according to Google shows OPEN on Tuesday. They obviously have no soul! A complete DISGRACE! They were also CLOSED the last time I came here, although said OPEN on Google. They just don't know how to run a business!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism Magaly is the best; she has done my hair twice now and has met my expectations on how I want my hair to look. She blends the color very nicely and is very professional and very friendly. I truly recommend this place to anyone! Service: Balayage

Heard great reviews on their balayages. After following their instragram account and seeing the countless transformations, I made an appointment and it was the best thing I did. I showed them the picture I wanted and they did it! They were very detailed in explaining what to expect after dying my hair for the first time and they recommend all the right products to use. It's been 4 months and I still get compliments on my hair. Can't wait to go back and go lighter.

Being in the industry myself, I am very particular with who I trust with my hair. I started going to XS 3 years ago and have never looked back. Magaly, Lorena and all the stylist and staff are so welcoming the moment you come in the door and always treat me exceptionally well. Often times, I'd get a manicure while processing with color. As a stylist, we spend our days spoiling our clients and it's nice to finally find a place where I'm showered with love, coffee/mimosas and amazing customer service. (They even have someone go outside to update my car meter when it's expiring).

To top it off, they're prices are very reasonable considering the hours and dedication they put into their work. I promise you will always walk out feeling like a million bucks! I love my XS FAM

I only trust Lorena with my hair! I've been going to her for years and she's the only one I allow to touch my hair! She always knows what to do and talks me out of bad ideas! She colors my hair exactly how I like and styles it beautifully. I enjoy my experience there with lively conversation full of laughs and smiles. I am always offered coffee, tea, water or a mimosa upon arrival! Magaly has done my makeup for various events such as weddings/ birthday party/ and Halloween. She is fantastic! Highly recommend XS hair to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable relaxing experience and leaves feeling beautiful!

First time trying balayage and it was a great experience! my hair came out exactly how I wanted and i've gotten so many compliments on my hair. Also got my hair cut and it was the perfect length, I usually get nervous on it being cut too short so I was very pleased with my experience at X-S Hair Salon.
