In 1984, Nicholas J. Elezaj joined a small salon located beside the Pelham Picture House. By 1987, Nick had built a name, created a following, and made the small salon "Nick's Salon Studio". By 1995, with a larger space, just a few doors down, this Pelham mainstay became simply "NIX". For three decades, Nick has based his success on one easy concept "Keep It Simple".
In 1999, Nick proudly introduced the simple result of earnest work, continued development, and loyal clientele - A full service hair salon and esthetic facility, poignantly designed to provide specialty services, coupled with specialty service -Nicholas Day Spa & Salon.

I went to Nicholas Spa for my very first massage ever. Laura was the massage therapist that I was paired with and she is absolutely wonderful! She immediately put me at ease and let me know that this service was entirely in my control. At no point was I uncomfortable in our interactions. She is very attentive to your needs and a fantastic listener. The salon itself is chic and very welcoming and is the staff. I highly recommend both this salon and massage therapist Laura if you're in need of some deserved pampering.

I usually go to Tranquility Spa on Central Ave but I figured I would try somewhere closer to home and I had a terrible experience. I had just got my hair done that morning because I had somewhere to be and I clipped my hair up and told the person who was massaging me. She started going up my neck with her oily hands and kept touching my hair for a good 10 min.
I felt like the massage was totally rushed and so rough. I came out with my hair full of oil and in knots. When I went to check out the girl at the front desk asked me how my experience was and I told her to warn people next time that they massage the scalp and make your hair all oily. She went to the back and told her manager when I didn't ask for one and the manager came out and ask me if I wanted shampoo to take home.
I replied no thank you with tears in my eyes. She comes back and asks me " have you never gotten a full body massage before? It's literally head to toe." and walked away. I felt so humiliated because a few people in the spa heard. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. IT'S DIRTY AND THE BEDS AREN'T EVEN HEATED. NO ONE GAVE ME A ROBE OR SANDALS. I WENT HOME CRYING AND UNSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE

Been going to this salon for 15 years. I only go to Manjola as she is excellent! She listens to your wants/desires, understand your hair, and suggest the most flattering option for you. I no longer live in Westchester or NY, currently live in Chicago, and I will NOT let another stylist cut or color my hair; Manjola is the only one! I highly recommend Manjola!

I have had my share fair of spas I have been to Some good ones and some mediocor. I have to say this is by far the worst and most expensive eye brow service I have experienced. Let just start off by the fact that the eye brow technician (didn't get her name) stressed me out be telling me her personal stories of family issues/ pregnancy. When I go to a spa even if it is simple as getting my brows done, I look forward to relaxing and having "me time".
This appointment end up being the complete opposite and felt like a therapy session and not even for my self. Second - the brow technician had a cheap pair of tweezers. I saw that she had 2 pairs 1 pair of tweezerman and 1 cheap pair that you buy at the dollar store. It had a lady as the design where you would hold the tweezers. Than when I explained that I wanted a shape up and clean up, she must of plucked 2 or 3 hairs did not take her time she cut my brows uneven and called it a day it didn't take her more than 1 minutes per brow. I am so horrified and mad that I even paid 50$ for this service.
