I had partial foil highlighting today. Jenneth did a super great job! I showed her pictures, we alligned our expectations and my hair turned out exactly what she described and what i wanted! Super happy with the results and highly recomment Jenneth!

I absolutely loved this place! My stylist Anne Marie was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed to do with my hair! I'll be going back again next week! I never had the confidence to get a hair cut in six years because of severe hair loss and she made me feel amazing!

I've been seeing Jules as my hair stylist for over five years now. She always treats her clients with the upmost professionalism and kindness. I don't get my hair colored, but I've see her coloring work and it's beautiful. The salon is clean and welcoming. I drive over 45 minutes just to get my hair done there. There are many other talented stylists at the salon, but I am partial to Jules!

I was very happy at first when I found this salon but in the light of recent events I don't want to return there or recommend it to my girlfriends. I had a few very important events lined up around Christmas time so in September I scheduled my appointment for the 11th of December. On the day of, I got a vague text message from my stylist stating that " We MIGHT need to reschedule".

She didn't return any of my messages and because of the lack of communication I called the salon. They were very apologetic and helped me reschedule for the following Saturday with a different stylist. The day of the appointment I came in on time and they asked me to wait. 20 minutes past the arranged time they let me know that my stylist was running late but she could be there in 20-25 minutes and asked if it was ok with me to wait.

Such things happen so I agreed to wait. Another 15 min passed and someone else came up to me and said that my stylist would not have enough time to do what I wanted to have done and that nobody else had time for me either. They offered me to come back the following Monday. My plans were ruined and I didn't feel like coming back for the 3rd time.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality I had a friend go in for a simple hairstyle, who left out in tears. The stylist not only hyped up her ability and fell well short of the desired hairstyle, she basically ushered her out the door without drying or styling her hair. She was completely unapologetic for her shortcomings.

The far pic on the right was what I asked for and the two pics on the left are what I got. The first pic was after the first time she toned it. I told her I didn't like it because it looked brassy. She argued that this was the color I asked and I wanted to go that light. I said I didn't mind the color but it looked brassy and orange. She said she would fix it but gave me ATTITUDE.

The middle pic is the final pic which still wasn't what I wanted. The color looks like bronze and not light brown. At the end of it she was said "I hope you like it because I have to go and attend my other client" and basically kicked me out of my seat. I work with many clients and I will do a lot to make sure they are satisfied but I didn't feel prioritized nor taken care of.

She didn't even style my hair at the end and left me walking with wet hair outside in the cold/snow and my hair froze walking to my car. If you can't do a hair highlight, just say it from the beginning rather than wasting both of our times. Not only was it a terrible job done but also terrible service. Everyone else at the salon was friendly besides her.

If you have dark hair and want to go light, do not come here unless you're trying to look like Donald trump or a Cheeto. Her name is Lorane. I was going through some personal problems and I was hoping to do something nice for myself to add a little more pep in my step but it made this made it worst. Please save yourself the $125 and go elsewhere.

AnnMarie B is simply amazing - she knows hair and is really polite and listens to what you want as a client.

Salon Matarazzo does NOT practice safe Covid-19 practices. The stylist I was scheduled to see told me she had Covid a few months back and felt no need to get vaccinated. Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment. A bad hair day is not worth my life! I wonder if there was any quarantining that took place with the other salon employees or customers as a result of her having Covid-19? Also, people who have had Covid-19 can still spread the virus to others and DO NEED TO BE VACCINATED if they are going to be working with the public.

Even worse, after a person has had Covid-19, chances are a second case would be very mild and they wouldn't even know they had it and could spread the virus to others. Bottom LINE.WISE UP AND GET VACCINATED IF YOU ARE WORKING IN A PROFESSION THAT DEALS WITH THE PUBLIC UP CLOSE! THIS IS NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR SALON MATARAZZO!

Mojan made me feel amazing today! I thought my hair was hopeless after suffering severe hairloss since 2014 and she proved to be an angel without wings! She's very knowledgeable, kind and funny! The prices are standard. I will definitely be back!

Have been going here for years. I like the normal, unpretentious atmosphere. Besides owner(s) working on-site, the salon has good, experienced technicians. Easy access from large parking lot.

I called this salon last minute (actually recommended by the gals over at Salon Eight, formerly Seven). I was visiting from Southern California to meet my future in-laws for the first time. I took an exercise class and was planning to get a blow out at Drybar before meeting everyone, but Drybar could not accommodate me, so I started frantically calling around. Salon Matarazzo was able to get me right in on a Monday (many salons I called were closed for services on Mondays). Chloe did an amazing job with my blowout.

I felt so beautiful and confident going into a somewhat nerve-wracking situation. I highly recommend their salon. It is clean, everyone is wearing masks and they did a wonderful job. Thank you so much!

Chloe helped transform my hair from a dark brown to a blond balayage. I was lucky to have the appointment after two days of booking it. I was her last client & she was willing to stay however long it took to finish my hair in one session! It took 5 1/2 hours & she was so patient! She was very professional & I can tell she puts her heart in everything she does. My hair is also thick & curly, so I give her props for dealing with it, because I barley like to. I think I found my favorite hair stylist & will be coming back for sure!

Absolutely great experience as a first time customer today. Everyone was so kind and personable. Lorane did a beautiful color job on my hair and Ron masterfully cut my hair. Totally happy with the experience and I highly recommend this salon.

Truly a gem in Seattle Metro Area! I have been going to see AnnMarie B for cuts, balayage and foils since October 2019. She is the only person I have found to trust with my hair. It's evident that she researches the best techniques/products to provide quality results while protecting your hair. I have very dark brown hair, which can be difficult for some stylist.

When I first visited; AnneMarie lifted my hair from my natural dark brown to a beautiful mushroom ombre baylage. In the past year I started having more grey hair sprout at the root and wanted to have them blend into the trending platinum silver highlights. We have been working on getting my hair to that point and after a visit last week I have finally achieved the look.

My hair is healthy and the process has been totally worth it. She has also been great at listening to me and educating me on processes/treatments/products/biology of the hair. I moved from Colorado to Seattle in 2016. I was so disheartened prior to finding AnneMarie, because I had tried dozens of places throughout the metro area and couldn't find someone who could compare to my exceptional hairdresser back in Colorado.

All the places I had tried with raving reviews would make my hair brassy, spotty, green and even fall out. Finding a hair stylist that you want to commit to is difficult, but now that I found one that measures up - I couldn't imagine going to anyone else! It also helps that the salon is also very clean, has wonderful customer service and great covid protocols.

Salon Matarazzo is truly the best of the best. I've seen both Morgan and Ann Marie for my balayage and they both do a phenomenal job of doing exactly what I want and they do thorough consultations. If you're looking for a beautiful and natural looking balayage I highly recommend them! I refuse to go anywhere else even though I currently live in Boise.

This place is awesome! I booked an appointment with Nancy. Trying to find a different color or look for my holidays to end the year. She did an excellent job from start to finish. Very patient in her job, I admired how well she planned the change and what was going to be needed. Also super friendly, clear and communicative. I had never experienced such a good and talented stylist. I would definitely go again.! I loved my look.

I love this salon. Between the great customer service, clean and friendly atmosphere, and amazing talent, I have never left disappointed, and I can't say that about any other salon. I am glad to call these people my hair angels always fixing me up. I always walk out looking and feeling way better than when I arrived. Tina, Gwen & Morgan are my go too's. I had heard great things about this salon and was really looking forward to getting my hair done. Last weekend I got a partial foil and a cut, and when I left the salon all looked good. However, once I got home and took a closer look, I was so disappointed. I just went to my old hairstylist in Federal Way to fix my hair and he couldn't believe it. With tip, I paid $300 at Salon Matarazzo, only to have to pay another couple hundred this weekend to have it fixed.

I love going to this salon and having Annmarie as my stylist. She is a truly talented stylist, she patiently listens and gives professional advice. She has a sharp eye for details and is passionate about her work. I love Annmarie, my haircut and color!

First off I must say my hair was in a difficult state to start with, I had dark (almost black) hair that I had used box dye to touch up my roots. Annemarie Bell has worked wonders to get the color lifted to a beautiful ash light blonde. To go from such a dark color to the lightest blond takes a long process but well worth the time and effort. The whole process cannot be achieved through 1 appointment and Annemarie made sure to protect the integrity of my hair! Now I have a short edgy hair cut with a blonde color melt. I couldn't be happier with the end result that Annemarie got me to!

Got my hair done a while ago here by Mojan, and she did an amazing job! She was super fast and talented at what she did. She gave me highlights and a little bit of bayliage to blend everything which I really appreciated. Such a wonderful person and great with conversation. The salon is super cute and has a New York feel. Super modern and classy. Probably one of the cutest salons I've been to! Although this place is a bit on the pricey side, I would recommend this place. I mean you get what you pay for, plus it's in Bellevue so what would you expect lol.

Thanks Ron (cut) and Colleen (color) for looking after my hair for the last two years. Sorry it's taken me so long to write a review! I guess if you are always happy with service, you forget because you have nothing to complain about! I always feel very comfortable and relaxed at Salon Matarazzo. Ron and Colleen really listen to what I want and give really good advice. Ron convinced me not to cut my hair yet, and now I am actually very happy with my long hair (a first in my life). Colleen switched me from permanent color to semi-permanent because I didn't like the regrowth line and I am getting very gray. I've repeated the new process a few times with great results that lasts. They both are easy to talk to and always make me feel welcome and give me their full attention. Thank you for consistently doing a great job!

I finally discovered a stylist for all my future visits after 2 years of salon hopping in Bellevue. Laura is a magician and works effortlessly with even not so great hair. She understood my requirements to the T and didn't shy away from offering honest advise. I loved the way she styled my limp and boring hair and went above and beyond to demonstrate simple hair styling techniques at home.

She is also extremely friendly and can put you at ease within minutes. The ambience at the salon is very chic and calm and does not reek of pseudo Downtown attitude. The staff really makes you feel comfortable and are great to talk to. I had one of the most amazing salon experiences today. Keep it up Team Matarrazo!

LAURA IS THE BEST! I go to her for my cuts and colors and I'm so happy with each visit! She has been doing balayages on my dark hair and has been able to achieve the perfect blonde after a couple visits (I've seen her multiple times, so all of my colors look different in each photo). I'm so glad I found my lifetime stylist!

Gwen (cut) and Laura (color) fixed me up! After years of no color and a plain, simple, long cut, these two bent over backwards to fit me into their schedules and leave me feeling beautiful and refreshed. Gwen is a master technician. I explained what I was looking for, she asked a lot of questions, and gave me a cut that can do it all! I love how she explained the cut and even took the time to show me several simple ways to style it and maximize its versatility. Laura was wonderful and so patient with my narcoleptic self.

I was so sleep deprived and I don't think even Seattle weather can get this woman down. She opted for a balayage technique after I explained what I was looking for and it turned out perfectly. Ladies, I can't thank you enough! I've received so many compliments and have had a lot of fun styling my new do. It's been a long time since I've had fun with my hair. See you soon!

I had a hair mistake at home and I called after work asking if there were any last minute openings and Tina had an opening for me and totally fixed my hair! Everyone was so sweet and helpful and I would totally go back!

Note that this review is NOT about our hairdresser, Laura, who was wonderful and a joy to spend an hour and a half with when we did. The front desk staff and owner (or manager, not sure which, she didn't identify herself to me) treated my husband in particular like a second-class citizen. When he called to make appointments on my behalf, he was told at first that nothing was available, and upon second call was told he could make an appointment weeks out.

He did so, and we showed up about 20 minutes early and waited patiently until five minutes past our appointment, with no one having told us that Laura's last appointment was running behind. At that point, another customer had entered and checked in. Apparently she was scheduled to have a bang trim which takes five minutes, but instead of letting us know anything about what was going on and why our time was being wasted, she was showed back ahead of us.

Communication with the staff and management have been nothing but dismissive since. After spending over $1000 with this salon and recommending it to friends, it's a really awful blow to be treated like we're second-class customers. We will not be returning.
