I am a first time customer to this salon and I booked an appointment 4 weeks in advance to have a wax done for a special trip I was taking tropical. The point was I didn't want to shave my legs on vacation. I had both legs waxed. When the girl was done I got dressed and went on my merry way. When I got home I was noticing several areas that were missed and my legs had stubble.

They should have felt smooth. I called the salon and let them know what was discovered and they said yes that happens sometimes where the hair breaks off rather than pulls out. I have had waxing done before and never had this happen and I'm not saying it couldn't but the missed areas are sporadic and the room had very poor lighting. After all the planning and hair growing I now still have to shave and to boot the salon didn't even offer for my money back or a discount for a return visit so I am also out my $90 still having to shave my legs.

Just a convo with the girl who answered the phone sayin."sorry about your luck now that you have to shave on your tropical Vacay!" I won't return to this place again. I may pay more elsewhere but it's worth it. I would have given them two stars but after I called the salon and they didn't offer me a refund or discount, I gave them one star because that's just poor customer service to boot on top of poor quality waxing!

Got a quote for extra hair services prior to my appointment. When I went to pay, I was charged an additional $50 for hair toner. I explained that I was given an estimate over the phone prior to my appointment, and was trying to clarify the miscommunication. the receptionist-as well as the owner- raised their voices at me, saying no one that was employed there would give me an estimate of the price that I was told. Never in my life have I ever had someone yell at me in any business setting. Unprofessional. Zero courtesy. Poor customer service.

While I was happy with my haircut, the stylist seemed brash. I felt really uncomfortable with her telling me how bad my hair was. She also asked too many personal questions.

Went in for an eyebrow wax. Poorly lit room. Had to go back to get the missed hairs. She only checked 1 eyebrow!. Didn't even look at the other. She held her cellphone right up against my face with the flashlight. Just unprofessional and over priced. I don't give low reviews for kicks. I really tried to get her to fix her mistake. The iPhone flash light and the failure to double check both eyebrows upon my return was just too much for me to ignore.

This is my home salon. Here I can get taken care of. I get waxing and threading done. Lindsey is very customer focused and listens to what I want and need. She works fast - great for me because I am new to waxing; made me feel super comfortable for my brazilian! Jenny threaded my eyebrows quick and did a great job! Heather gives gentle and precise manis and pedis! Bonnie is an amazing colorist; very humble, very technical! Deborah has pampered my feet with excellence. Olivia is very sweet and thoughtful aesthetician and made me feel amazing. Vanessa is a skilled massage professional who asks and listens.

I can come to one salon, get taken care of, and not have to run all over town. I am so grateful for this community of cosmeticians and specialists because they make my life better and easier and lovely. I trust them to take care of me. Are they perfect every time? No. But I am not perfect. They listen to me and work with me that counts the most. I love Reneaux (sounds like Renew). They all wear masks and follow the COVID guidelines.

Worst experience at a salon in my life. I went in for highlights and a haircut. She used 40 Volume developer with bleach and foils on my level 6 fine hair. She then proceeded to put me under the dryer for an extended period of time. She fried my hair. It says on any container of hair bleach not to use with heat. And 40 Volume developer should never be used on light/medium brown level 6 hair.

That's only okay if someone has very healthy, thick, virgin, black hair. I have a feeling she either did that because she doesn't know how to tone properly or she didn't want to wait for my hair to be lifted properly. It bled above the foil at my roots and left a line of demarcation. I have large streaks at the front that she referred to as a money piece.

It looks like a zebra stripe. I asked for a beige/ashy blonde. I had to pay extra for toner. Which is typically included when you have a lightening service at most salons, at least in my experience in the past. The toner never took. So it ended up looking very brassy. Then there's the haircut. I asked for a mid neck length bob that was supposed to be longer in the front and shorter in the back.

I was very specific that when it was dry I wanted it to stop at mid neck in the front. I even showed her a video/picture of a model that showed it from all angles. She made it longer in the back and shorter in the front. The opposite of what I wanted. It was a mom haircut. The length was to my mouth in the front when dry. I also have slightly wavy hair.

She proceeded to flat iron my hair to cut part of it. Which you never to with textured hair. She also complained about my hair being frizzy. Implying that was why she was flat ironing it to cut it. I think that was rude. I have only ever had hairdressers say how incredibly soft my hair is. It was very likely frizzy because she had fried it. It is horrible.

The texture is ruined. The level of damage is ridiculous. I went to another salon to get it fixed. She told me they cut it lopsided and at different angles at the back. I had to cut my bangs to help with how fried my hair was. She noticed the line of blonde where the bleach bled out of the foils onto my roots. I called for a refund and the manager was extremely rude.

She yelled over me and was baligerant. She said that she stood behind her workers. She also said foils bleed and that's normal. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional person before. Especially someone who is supposed to be a manager. She called me a liar when I told her how bad my hair was. I left with wet hair anyways. So I'm not sure how she can even say anything. It's terrible. I would avoid this pace at all costs. Very unprofessional.

FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! Heather G. did an amazing job! I went in thinking I thought I knew what I wanted, but I asked her opinion and I am SO glad I did! My hair looks so natural and (not to brag) gorgeous! The staff was also great. Everyone was kind and I really felt listened to while I was in the chair. Couldn't say enough about Reneaux Day Spa. Heather did a fantastic job on my hair. I wanted a dark blue and she nailed it! Also, I have curly hair and the cut she did is perfect. It's angled like I wanted and still works with my curls. I usually leave salons disappointed in how my hair looks, but this time I left feeling amazing and confident that my hair actually looks really good.

I walked into Reneaux Day Spa for the first time several months ago after coloring my own hair for years. Deborah took me right under her wing and made me feel comfortable immediately. She did a beautiful job with the color, highlights, and the cut. The best part was/is the relaxed atmosphere and friendly environment. Even though it had been years, I was made to feel welcome and treated like I had been a regular customer of Reneaux forever.

I was back again this morning and had another 5 star experience. Thank you Deborah and crew! : In response to the recent negative comment: Deborah really cares about her customers and would be quick to satisfy a customer complaint or correct any problem. It is important to remember to take your complaints with ANY company to management and allow them to fix the problem before writing a scathing review. You not only affect that business with your comments but also all the people working there.
