I was a new client. I wanted a balayage and cut. I did not do my hair for almost a year because of a bad experience with a stylist that over processed my hair. I explained exactly what I wanted. I wanted a beige balayage however received a yellow and orange tone. I obviously went back after a week with only 2 washes and wanted the stylist to achieve the color and again it was not achieved.

I am disappointed because I keep trusting the stylist to do what I want and in the end not happy and just deal with it (which I shouldn't have too). The stylist seemed knowledgeable however did not deliver. I gave 2 stars because I was happy with the cut and the employees were nice. The cut cost was reasonable however paying what I paid for a balayage that I am not happy with is what I'm disappointed in.

I love getting my hair colored and cut here. Belleza Hair and Nail Studio is a beautiful and relaxing salon. And the staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend making a hair appointment at Belleza!

They always give my sons a fantastic haircut. Both of my boys have thick curls and wear their hair long-ish. After trying basically all the barber shops and salons in Frederick, we tried Belleza and will continue to go there! Only suggestion I have is to add more seating in the lobby, the few chairs that were there were very uncomfortable and there wasn't enough seating. Otherwise, beautiful salon, staff is kind, and great haircuts!

I definitely loved the results. I had a really good experience at Belleza. The Customer service was very nice. I had a really excellent professional performing my hairstyle, Nicole Henderson. My haircut looks beautiful, I feel very pleased and I definitely will come back to keep having the best experience and the best results. Highly recommended.

Belleza recently made a smart hire who's name is Nicole Henderson - a high school friend of mine and an accommodating and professional employee. I made the decision to start removing my dreadlocks of almost a decade. I called three different studios between Charles Town and Shepherdstown, WV near where I live and also own two business locations of my own.

I wanted to see if any of my local hair salons would accommodate such an undertaking - no one was comfortable taking the appointment and one studio never even called back when they said they would. I reached out to Nicole who asked Belleza's permission to do this type of work. Both Nicole and the salon accommodated the dreadlock removal - getting a 4 hour appointment in a timely fashion. Firstly, I was greeted at the door immediately by the woman at the front desk and Nicole with a polite welcome and was asked if I wanted a refreshment. Belleza, being a business that requires masks - it was a good look to have them readily available to offer to the patron unlike other businesses in Frederick where they expect you to wear a mask but don't have any to offer you to wear. Nicole was knowledgeable about the process and gentle with my hair for the whole 4 hour appointment.

She used the highest quality conditioning butter the salon had to offer and embodied the fierce patience it requires to remove dreadlocks. It is an extremely tedious task. All the staff that I interacted with was courteous and kind. One staff member walking by heard me talking about needing to feed the meter and she put an hour and 12 minutes in for me.

I had forgotten to bring a snack for my very long day in Frederick (tattoo appointment in the morning and 4 hour hair apt) Nicole kindly went to the back and asked if she could bring me a snack to eat and management sent her out with some tasty goodies to hold me over for the remainder of the apt. Another employee engaged in conversation with me about maybe teaching yoga at their up and coming new location and that I should definitely bring by business cards for my massage and yoga business.

Small business supporting small business is always a wonderful exchange. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Belleza and everyone was so accommodating and kind. Nicole did a great job and Is a wonderful conversationalist. It was awesome to catch up with her. I recommend Belleza for their professionalism, willingness to take on a wide range of hair care situations, prompt communication and booking - plus my newly undreaded hair still smells and feels amazing from that conditioning butter!

I recently returned to the Frederick area and knew Belleza was the place to get my badly needed haircut. I was scheduled with Olivia, who is new to the salon. I really appreciated Olivia's careful attention to getting my cut and color exactly the way I wanted it. She often checked in with me, on how things were progressing and let me check in the mirror to be sure.

She had great suggestions on how to achieve my desired cut, and her eye for color was spot on. Olivia was friendly, personable and professional, and I would gladly be seen by her again.

I hired Belleza Salon for makeup for my wedding. Alicia, the wonderful makeup artist, came onsite and did my makeup along with 3 others in my group. She was delightful to work with, did our makeup in a way that everyone liked, and was flexible on our timing (timing with hairstyling, etc.). I would definitely recommend working with this salon!

I called to request a last minute appointment for the weekend and they were able to schedule me in! Cris took care of me and I went in not know exactly what i wanted (I was tired of my outgrown highlights), but Cris helped me choose a color that a bit more low maintenance (exactly what i need) but of a purplish tone that looks amazing and not boring at all (which was what i was afraid of)! Cris really took the time to understand what would make me happy!

She also gave my toddler a haircut and was absolutely awesome with her- super patient! I love the atmosphere at Belleza and the front desk staff are very welcoming! Highly recommend!

Amazing, friendly and talented staff. Nails were done perfectly and they also did my wedding hair and makeup. HIGHLY recommend. They made my special day perfect! Alicia and Sam were so nice and absolute experts! Thank you again!
