I had the worst experience of my entire life getting a brazilian wax here. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced and all my friends who get Brazilian waxes said they have never had to experience what I did. The experience was so bad I had to go home and kick my feet up the rest of the day, take pain meds, and sleep. I even swoll up. I could barely walk.

I even cried a few times. I don't know what happend but, my finace' made me an appt through groupon to go here for my birthday. He said he read the reviews and she had good reviews. This was my first time ever getting a brazilian wax. It was nothing pleasant about my experience. She tried to make small talk as she ripped big patches of hair off me. I even bled. I won't be going back. I could say more but, I'mma just stop here.

This quaint and we'll designed spot exudes peace. Parvin is warm and professional. After moving here from PA 4 years ago, I just went for Brazilians where the best deal was. Well, I found my new Brazilian home! Parvin's Spa is very reasonable and the BEST KEPT SECRET, ( not for long I'm sure!)

Parvin is a lifesaver! Whenever I visit Charlotte she's the first appointment I make. I have gone to her for years for waxing but just got my first facial and I have had several people ask how my skin is glowing so much! Only mild redness for about 30 minutes after the facial and she knew exactly how to work with my skin. Even men were saying my skin looking so nice! I definitely recommend her to anyone with any skin type!

I love Parvin! She's the best! I was a little nervous at first about getting a Brazilian wax but she was so comforting and super fast barely had time to think about it! I have been going back to her every month since!

I was traveling to Charlotte and had been way over due for a facial and had been pretty sketchy about my facial care for the last two months, so my skin was really in bad shape. It was a holiday Monday so I was thrilled that she was opened and her reviews were overwhelmingly excellent. She was able to get that day. Her place is charming. Off the beaten path but she texts you exactly how to arrive at her doorstep.

She spent 2 hours on my face. Loving on my like I was her newborn grand baby. She scrubbed and peeling through layers of neglect. Helped me with some affordable priced products since I'd arrived without much on this impromptu trip. She never tried to up sell or even "sell" anything. Just answered questions as I brought them up. I walked out with baby smooth, glowing skin.

Her conversation is lively and that of a world traveler. And yet never intrusive. When I fell silent (during the most amazing facial massage) she did too. I see from some negative reviews, that her hours are erratic because she travels a lot. I have a medical practice, that I close at least one week a month to travel too. I go above and beyond to make sure my patients are well connected and they understand.

Those that don't -go elsewhere. Good things aren't always easily attained and I felt privileged that fate landed me on her chair. I hope when I come back to Charlotte she happens to be in town too so I can pamper myself again.

BEST WAX IN CHARLOTTE There is no point of going anywhere else. She's fast and as painless as possible. I've read some reviews where people complained that they felt as though Parvin "rushed" their wax. Really? Would you like someone to pull your wax strips very slowly? To each it's own but I sure wouldn't! I'm sooo glad she's back in Charlotte. EVERY other place in the Charlotte area pales in comparison to Parvin.

I've been going to Parvin's Spa for years! She understands skin improvement, hair removal and has excellent customer service! Before you leave, she wants you to be satisfied!

Quick and I still got a great personal experience! Parvin was very hospitable, communicated and accommodated me well! Found her spa through Groupon and so glad I decided to go for it! The ambience is great and feels cozy! Parking was easy to indicate once you drive up behind the building and just a simple walk to the front door! I can't wait to come back for my next service!

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had. She was an expert and extremely knowledgeable on everything from start to finish. SHE'S BACK! I found this amazing aesthetician quite a few years ago before the military made us move. We recently moved back and was excited to see that she is still here in Charlotte! I've only seen her for waxing services and she is so professional, efficient, and thorough. At my appointment today, we discussed some other services (like lash tinting!) that I hope to try out soon!

The spa location is great and the treatment room is spacious and clean. After trying out a few others in Charlotte (and being disappointed), I'm grateful that I found her again! Looking forward to our next session! Thanks!

Parvin is amazing. A true professional. There is no one else I would trust for waxing. I am pretty sensitive to pain, but she is quick and keeps chatting to distract.

Parvin is the only person I trust with my eyebrows! I started seeing her in 2009, and will continue to see her as long as she is around. She will listen to what you want, but she will chime in if she thinks that you want to go overboard on your brow removal. I always leave very happy. I've been to other waxing places in the past and been disappointed or anxious that they messed my eyebrows up - with Parvin I know my eyebrows will look great.

Just visited Parvin's new location. She does an amazing job, quick and as painless as possible. I won't go anywhere else.

I got a waxing and facial and it was wonderful! I had a great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone in the Charlotte, NC area.

Not your average "spa". Just know that before showing up. The woman who runs the place is a one woman show. She is quick, gets down to business and moves on to the next. I appreciated the efficiency and she was friendly during the service, but there is nothing fancy about this place so don't expect calming music, yummy smells, and trickling water falls.

After my wax, I ran into very little troubles so was very pleased! She didn't force me to buy anything or pressure me to do more than what I went in there for. Only negatives I have are her inconstancy with hours of operations. She leaves the country and you never really know when that will happen so a last minute appointment is not recommended. Also, scheduling an appointment can be a bit cumbersome because she gives you a different number to call on the company voicemail. But, once you get through, she is very pleasant. She is very accommodating to her clients and will work with you on scheduling.

Parvin is extremely thorough. If you want an excellent, clean, quick wax you should go to her. I am very sensitive to pain, and she gets you in and out very quickly. She's very sweet but let's you know, this is a wax not an ice cream shop so woman up. I've been going to her for years, and I'm always happy with the results.

Parvin makes you feel like a close friend! I've been going for years for my Brazilian and now I'm about to take my daughter for her first bikini wax! No credit cards.

Parvin is AMAZING. I've been going to her for 10+ years; for a long time, she was the only person in town who could do threading, and she was a pro at it. I agree with everyone else that she is a waxing guru - fast, efficient, and professional. Once or twice I've had to go somewhere else for a wax, and I'm horrified by how much longer it takes and how much more painful it is. I've been going to her so long now that I can just text her to set an appointment, and she's incredibly flexible and responsive. not to mention her prices can't be beat (cash or check only).

AMAZING waxes and facials. Im so happy she's added more hours! I love Parvin, I have been going to her for years! I read the other reviews and it seems like the reviews that gave bad stars simply because they had a painful Brazlilian. Lets face it. no brazilian feels great. At least you know with Parvin that she is doing a good job and is super fast and efficient! : 5 stars!

Made a last minute reservation (15min before appt) here after my flight home was cancelled. Parvin was terrific about accommodating my last min reservation even though it was pretty unreasonable! Fastest (but still thorough) Brazilian wax I've ever had. She does use strips, but she's still very fast and is clearly very good at her job. Cash or check only, so come prepared!

Went here for a spa pedicure. She was about 10 min late, and I had to call her to see if someone was showing up. Once she got there, she asked which service I was having, and assumed I was there for a wax. We're at red flag #2, in case you are counting. She got ready and I was placed into a facial table, Yes folks, a table where I was laying down, face up.

She brought out the cheapy target plastic foot soaker and I was in the weirdest and most awkward position with my knees high in the air, heels close to my butt, soaking in this plastic tub while lying on this table. Almost like a pap smear. It took 1hr 40 mins; she serviced about 2-3 clients at the end of the pedicure as well as she was the only one there.

Almost 2 hours?! She put 1 mask on my feet and had a nice but short foot/calf massage with lotion.nothing else. She spent 90% of the time filing my feet, and hey I needed that, but jesus I hope I can walk tomorrow. She is EXTREMELY nice and was chatty but not too chatty. Looks like she's a great waxer based on other reviews but STAY FAR AWAY for a pedicure.

I love supporting women-owned and run businesses but I will not be returning for any nail services there. I have yet to find a good spa pedicure in Charlotte that is less than $50. PS it's very hard to find, in a small building between Thai Taste and Ryan's Salon. It's also upstairs, so make sure you go through the front door and go up the stairs.

Very disappointing. I was searching for a new salon moving to Clt and this was a recommendation. Not sure if the lady who typically does these was out, but the one who did wiped me the wrong way after she was done and well.ladies we know what a series of problems that causes. Would never go back after that experience!

Parvin was PERFECT! She made sure to greet me and made sure for us to discuss what I came there for. She was nice and soothing! It was my VERY first time ever to get a Brazilian Wax, she talked to me in what I was most comfortable about like school, work, etc. She did a clean job! She was very professional and I was in there for a total of ten minutes; walking from my car, signing in, getting waxed, paid with my Groupon, (tipped her 25%), and walked to my car. I LOVED the results! I will definitely be back soon!

Once I moved to Charlotte, I searched EVERYWHERE for a good wax. Parvin is amazing. I was a die-hard beliver in hard wax, which is not what Parvin uses. However, whatever she does use is less painful and has better and longer lasting results. She even told me after my most recent wax that if I see a hair or two grow back in the next couple of days to come back (free of charge) and she would get rid of it. Additionally, she provides you with rules for after your wax, which, if you follow, make your wax last longer, stay cleaner, and NO future ingrown hairs (which has always been a problem for me).

I love I can make my appointments via text message with her, and she ALWAYS says yes, even to same day appointments, and it's quick and easy. She is efficent, and kind, and as someone who has been waxing for almost 15 years, this is my favorite place I have ever been to. I will, without hesitation, recommend Parvin to anyone.

OMGGGGG! Thats what I yelled after the first. well you know. I went to Parvin to get my very first Bikini wax for my wedding day. I wanted to do something special for the Hubby for the honeymoon. When she heard what I was doing it for, she convinced me that I should go all the way and get the full monty. A Brazilian Wax. To spice it up a little. So I agreed.

She was extremely nice and comfort me because I was nervous as all get out and even though with every pull, I let out a slight yelp little a new born puppy, she was very quick and efficient and was done with in 5-8 minutes. Walking out of the salon, I walked with a little more twist and I liked it. And the Hubby LOOVVVVEEEDD it! Will definitely be back again and again!

Just wanted to let you guys know that Parvins Spa gave me a terrible wax. Not only was the wax job bad (I had lots of painful razor bumps after a few days) but it was also unsanitary. She kept dipping the same stick into the tub of wax and applying it to my skin. You should never re-dip since you are going to use that same wax on another person. Although Parvin is very nice, I didnt say anything about it because it would have made me feel too uncomfortable.

I decided to give her a try based on all of the wonderful reviews I read on this site but was very disappointed. I wonder if my hair is thicker than the other people who wrote in. Anyways beware of the sanitation issue. you can move past a bad wax job but do not take chances with your health. I regret not speaking up.
