Whether it is your first time with us, or you are an old friend, we welcome you to Modern Salon & Spa - a retreat that brings beauty, relaxation and well-being into perfect balance.In 1989, Arsalan and Arezo Hafezi opened the first Modern Salon & Spa in Colwick Towers.
In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your service, i.e. your blonde highlights are too light or your layers were not cut short enough, we are happy to schedule another appointment with the same Service Provider to correct the matter. Notice must be given to Modern Salon & Spa within 72 hours of the appointment and the work must be completed within 7 days of your original service date.
We, at Modern Salon & Spa, strive to provide our guests with the most individually beneficial services. Please note that there are some instances/conditions which could make a guest an unsuitable candidate for a service. We ask that you please read over the following information and if you are unable to receive a service which has already been booked, to contact us.

Amy is an absolutely remarkable professional. I love getting a chance to see her guiding the next generation of hair stylists. She cares so much about their growth and progress. In just a month's time, I can see how much Dasha has learned. She's gaining confidence and was just lovely to chat with today. I'm always so impressed with the level of service from each member of the staff. Being a Modern client feels luxurious and special.

If I could give Heather a 10/5 rating, I would. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that I'm comfortable in her chair and that I love my hair. She listens to my requests and makes the entire salon experience relaxing and fun. Also, she offers her expert advice when I'm unsure of the best products to use. I get so many compliments on my hair when we take before/after video's to post to insta! I highly recommend her to my friends and other Charlotte area Moms who are looking for a hairstylist. :

Arezo is an amazing hair stylist. This is the best my hair has ever looked. She is truly so talented. Additionally, they are so professional and conduct their business with class. Tami She is the best. She's very kind and caring as I am awaiting surgery. She is always consistent and does a great job each and every time. Tammy has helped me to get my hair Straightened out from different medication's and a vitamin deficiency. I will continue to make appointments with Tammy because she has been very patient as sometimes I can't make an appointment because of my illness.

My experience at Modern Salon & Spa in Birkdale was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly and nice and loved to be there. My stylist was Tami and she did an exquisite job and was overall awesome. My hair turned out better than I could have imagined, I am absolutely blown away. I will definitely be recommending this salon to other people. This is the best experience I have ever had getting my hair done. Thank you so much!
