Salon Mila and Spa, an Aveda concept salon and spa, has been in the industry since 1998, providing clientele with the expertise and convenience of only having to visit one location for all beauty needs. Salon Mila is an experience, a vibe, and a culture that is unique and emphasizes teamwork in the world of beautifying.
All of our facials begin with a complimentary skin analysis by one of our licensed estheticians. This will help to determine your specific skin type, problem areas, and allow us to customize your treatment. Upon consultation, your esthetician will determine where your skin's imbalance lies. Customized product protocols and masque formulations will then be chosen specific to your individual concerns to promote better skin, health, and well-being.
An ancient technique that incorporates massage on specific pressure points on the foot to release energy flow, and corresponds to organs in the body. The rituals of Reflexology and Scalp Massage are combined to achieve a heightened state of awareness and total relaxation. At Salon Mila we believe in natural beauty.
Begin with an Aveda soak, cuticle treatment and nail shaping followed by a relaxing scrub. A relaxing hand, leg and foot massage with a Hand & Foot Relief lotion will leave your skin smooth. Had a great experience with Milana! I have long straight thin hair and now it has body, shape & movement. I've been getting compliments all day. My fiance's first words were "oh! Pretty lady!" Milana gave me recommendations along the way, listened to what I wanted to achieve and was delightful to talk to throughout my service. I definitely recommend her and the salon as a whole for a relaxing, pampering experience.

I think I just got the best haircut of my whole life and at 48, that's saying something! Milana worked wonders making my tired, old gray hair look rich and fabulous and fun! I am SO happy! I saw her a few months ago for an amazing pedicure which is what led me to return to her when I needed a haircut. She gave me the most playful curtain bangs, cut the rest to the perfect length it needed and proceeded to blow dry it all out into glorious waves I didn't know my fine, straight hair was capable of. Milana is a miracle worker - go see her!

I was told Lauren was the girl that could fix my hair and oh my GOD she did! I have very delicate blond hair that our hot weather and bad colorists had ruined. Lauren knew immediately what to do, fixed my color, has a plan, a beautiful cut and I feel wonderful. Spa is terrific, big, offers everything even a bit of shopping. truly first class!

I chose to go to one of the most expensive places I know in order to protect my long hair. Around January 1 I noticed after getting my hair colored and cut (third time in a row going there) that it just seemed frizzy all of the time, so the few times of styling it after the cut and color, (normally don't do it and pull it in a pony or braid it) that it needed a flat iron to control the frizz.
Six months later (June) I get it cut and colored again, it wasn't the blond we spoke about, much darker, it wasn't the partial I asked for, was given a full weave, and once I got home to view it in natural light it was green! I made an appointment for two days later on my day off to get it fixed. My truck was getting an oil change that day and took longer than expected so had to cancel. Decided to go to a different salon that day to get out the green because I was scared to go back.
My hair finally is brown but has so much brokenness and frizz that it will take years to grow out. I will never go back. It will take years for me to ever have not only long hair again, but healthy hair.

Excellent full service salon! Space is bright and welcoming. I am always warmly greeted and offered a beverage when I enter. Malana has been cutting my hair for over a year, and I have to say she does by far the best job that anyone has ever done. She has great vision for what your hair is now and skills to work with your hair to achieve what you want your hair to be!
Great stylist! Natalia is also the best manicurist/pedicurist I've ever had! She does a beautiful job that lasts far longer than anyone I've had before. They both make me feel very pampered and special with their excellent service!

Salon Mila is a nugget of gold nestled in the heart of Cave Creek! I have been a client for a couple of years or so and I can honestly say I have never had a negative experience in any form, or with any service! Natalya and Nellie do beautiful nails and pedicures. A facial with Kasey is like none I have ever experienced at any spa any where! Her technique and touch is so relaxing and gentle.
The products the Salon uses are top shelf and smell amazing. Mila, the owner, is a delightful person and always has a smile to greet you. The Salon itself is bright, attractive and clean! I was so excited when they reopened after the "stay at home" order was lifted. Salon Mila completely transformed their space into a very safe and sanitized format. I felt completely at ease with all the staff and the safety steps in place. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to the salon. I checked in and then just looked around the boutique. I was offered water but I didn't see a place to sit and wait for my tech so I wondered around some more. Finally someone came up to me and asked if I was here for a manicure and then showed my upstairs where my tech had been waiting for me. Seemed odd no one told me to go on upstairs she was ready to see me when I checked in. Manicure went fine, I paid and left.
Then thinking as I left, that I was not asked to rebook, given a card or anything telling me my techs name or phone # so that I could call when I wanted and rebook with the same nail tech. For my first time I found it odd they weren't a little more eager to earn my business. The service from my nail tech was great.

Oh my gosh! I have never found a Salon where I have been so taken care of. I had driven for 18 hrs. from Montana to AZ and had my appointment with Mila, whom I had yet to meet, so I was very excited to have my color and a new doo! What happened next was a beyond my craziest dreams! My appointment was at 1:00 PM but because I was so exhausted from our trip and hauling horses I decided I would rest before going to Salon Mila.
I fell sound asleep! I woke up at the time of my appointment and called practically in tears saying "I'M ON MY WAY!" I was 15 minutes late and was a wreck. Mila took me by the hand, seeing that I was needing some TLC and definitely some hair RESCUES, and spent the next three hours taking my hair from a brassy blond to a richer blonde with depth (I wish more stylists would take into account the age of their clients and what they really need to look like after 65 and Medicare!) she put oil on my hands and conditioned my dry tired hair.

Oh. My. Gawd. I have never left a salon more perplexed or pissed off. I had a partial high light done a week ago but returned today to have a few more foils put down the back. I am very blond on top and darker on the underneath. My stylist did a great job on the tone of my blond but I basically had a black hole on the back of my head that needed fixed.
I definitely did not expect to have to pay for this fix so I added a couple products to my visit and planned on tipping my stylist as a thank you. At check out I was billed $157! Uhhh seriously? There must be a mistake. Ms. receptionist goes to ask my stylist. He comes down and in front of me they whisper about the situation. Can you say awkward? I am told that with the added foils I now have a FULL HIGH LIGHT and yes I owe this money. Haha!
I literally had 8 to 10 more foils added making it now a real partial with the underneath untouched. Not a top of the head and sides. Hmmmm. I was a salon owner and stylist for 15 years so I'm no dummy when it comes to what service is being done and how to do it properly. Not to mention making sure clients are happy so they return. Duh. I end up paying $38, gave the products back to the receptionist, left no tip, got in my car with a wet head (a blow dry costs extra) and wondered how in the world people run a business with such awful customer service. So the search for a stylist continues.

I am a fan of the hair stylist Lana at the Stage Coach (Mila) Salon. I look forward to my appointments with Lana every time I am in town. Normally I don't just trust anyone to cut and color my hair (outside of the person who has been doing my hair for 10 plus years!) She is an excellent stylist. She is also very creative and the end result is always great.

Couldn't find a place for a long time who can do great job on my nails. One of my friends referred to go get my nails done with Natalya. Even though its 40 minutes away from where I live, i decided to give it a try. Natalya was very nice and friendly. He did an amazing job on my nails. My gel polish stayed over a month, and pedicure is an experience that i think everyone should give it a try! Definitely 5 star service from Natalya. Will be back for sure!

Love this place. Needed to find a new salon after moving, been going to the same place for 15 years, I don't like change. They made it easy. Nataliya did an amazing job with my nails, even though I came back all most 4 weeks later for a backfill, not one nail had chipped. My pedicure still looks almost new after 5 weeks. Pedicure btw is amazing. Stella did my hair and I am thrilled, someone who listens when you say "I want bangs" : Thank you all and I have already been back and plan to stay. See you soon!

Best salon anywhere! The pedicures are just amazing: perfect colour, the very best service, and the warm. The warm neck pillow, the, personalized music, scalp massage and eye pillow make this the very best Pedicure anywhere. No matter who you get for your service, the experience is incredible! You have to try the manicure: the results last so long!

Let me say upfront that I've never had a service at Salon Mila. I know them from El Pedegral (where they used to be) and had a fond memory of purchasing, for my Mom, a pair of (rather expensive) crystal embellished flip flops she'd fallen in love with in their Boutique. Mom passed away last year and I thought, as a testament to her flair and commitment to good grooming (and beauty!), I'd try Mila as my new go-to salon for cuts, color, nails, etc.
I also am a big fan of Aveda and Salon Mila is in the neighborhood I've just moved to. Stopped in today and was impressed by the dazzling salon. No customers visible but 2 young and 1 middle-aged woman at the desk. When I said I was looking for a new salon and asked if they have a price list, one of the 20-something receptionists seemed confused and fumbled around, searching for a brochure.
The older woman was clearly annoyed with me interrupting whatever paperwork she was sifting through and literally tossed a business card on the desk, saying."we don't have a price list. HERE, YOU can look it up online". Really? Honestly, the 2 younger employees looked embarrassed by her behavior and tried to save the day by rattling off some vague pricing. But, the "moment" had passed and I couldn't leave fast enough!
There is no excuse for treating a potential customer like dirt! What an unnecessarily awkward and thoroughly unpleasant encounter. BTW, I did get the nasty woman's name but I won't publish it here. Owner of Salon Mila.please take note. Your (clearly) unhappy employee gives a very bad first impression of your salon. And you know what they say about 1st impressions.you only get one.

I was staying at The Boulders Resort but I didn't want to pay $89. So, I called around town and the only place I could get in on a Saturday was Salon Mila. The pedicure station faced a beautiful wall fountain, had very comfortable recliner chairs and they use the most wonderful Aveda products and an environmentally/people friendly, quick drying, super durable nail polish.
My nail technician Natalia was amazing! It included the usual pedicure treatment, a salt scrub, foot and leg massage, a heated neck wrap, scented eye pillow, head massage and ear phones with soothing music. Loved it! I really have never had such a relaxing and nurturing foot treatment. Thank you Natalia and Salon Mila!

Best pedicure ever! So relaxing! They go way over the top to make sure it's a quiet and relaxing experience. You sit in a zero gravity chair and have a warm compress on your shoulders that smells like lavender. You can also wear their Beats headphones and choose your own music:) Definitely treating myself to more of these:)
