After years of overpaying for haircuts I was recommended by a colleague of mine to visit Irene Kivlen at Le Joli Salon in Westlake. I am very particular about the way my bangs are trimmed (due to so many past failures) so it is always a nerve racking experience for me when I see a new stylist. When I first met Irene she was such a warm and outgoing presence, she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed.

The salon is super clean and everyone was wearing masks. Thinking I was only going in for a quick trim, Irene gave me a full treatment and even applied a hair mask that smelled SO good. I have a very sensitive head so mild tugging and brushing out knots really hurts me but Irene's hands were incredibly gentle. Next month marks 1 year since I first decided to see Irene and was one of the best decisions I have made for my hair!

The salon is an hour long drive away from me but it's totally worth it. Not only is she a very nice woman, she's a major perfectionist! She has never made a mistake while cutting my hair, ever. I highly recommend paying Irene a visit at Le Joli Salon. You won't ever want to see another stylist again

Fary is my stylist at Le Joli Salon and she's amazing! Perfect highlights and cut every time. Fary's so kind and flexible with booking appointments. Couldn't be happier with her service. Highly recommend!

Joyce did an amazing job coloring and cutting my hair. This is my first foray into having my hair colored, I had always been too nervous to do it not wanting my hair to look unnatural. Joyce gave me just enough blonde to keep it looking natural without going over the top. I had seen her work for years on others and really appreciated her eye for color and complexion. The salon was completely COVID compliant, clean, and everyone wearing masks properly. It was a great experience

I guess it's time for an update. Still happy with the haircuts, but not the atmosphere in the salon. Being told that I don't have the right to be in any way put out by late appointments is not OK with me. Stylists get upset if their clients are late. Their time is money. And stylists get very upset if you were late for their appointment.

Why should it be any different with their clients? And so after very long time of loyal patronage, I am in search of a new stylist. And that is ok. I knew it was time for a change anyhow. Best of luck.

I love Denise! She is a fabulous colorist and always cuts my hair into the best cut for my face shape. The salon is very clean and you're always approached with a smile from the front desk ladies

Ended up giving this salon another chance. Since that I didn't wait another of couple/few days to see my stylist at the other salon that I tried before. In which I'm glad because this stylist/salon knew what they were doing. I didn't have to wait too long for a appt. Expect, didn't like that the fact they put me on hold. Naz, Naz, Naz, Just the best! It's Naz or no one. Le Joli Salon is now her new home. The place is clean, the receptionist is warm and welcoming. This was my first time here and Hidi(Haida) did a really amazing job. I went in because I wanted to do something fun and new with my hair. I had a bunch of ideas. Haida went to all of them with me and help me pick their options that would work the best for my hair and she was so great at explaining everything and keeping me involved in the process.

Everyone at the salon is sweet and had a positive attitude, it made my experience really great and I am normally a nervous wreck when getting my hair done. I love the result of my hair, feels better than it has in years even though we went from very natural dark hair too pretty light blonde under the color thank you Hidi ( haida). Haida did a Brazilian hair for me about three months ago. It still looks great. She is very meticulous, patient. I love her work I highly recommend her

I must say Haidi was one of the best hairdresser I have met. Booking an apt with her was surprisingly easy and quick, she is very efficient and upfront about pricing. When it comes to color my hair, it's not the easiest as I have previous highlights and different self colored roots. Haidi was patient, took time to understand what I want without rushing.

She explained to me clearly about what she can do to achieve what I like and what she thinks is the best care for my hair. While being personable and caring, she is also professional, paid great attention to the details. She made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The result is beyond great, got many compliments from friends already!

There's always a fear when you try a new salon and stylist. I have to say that all my trepidation was for naught, because this salon is fantastic. From friendly and helpful front desk staff to the magical genius, Hidi, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had in a salon. Outstanding services for men too! Sure, women get all the attention when it comes to hair salons, but this place can go up against any barber shop for experience, talent and equipment. If you're a professional, try a high-end cut here. I don't think you'll go back to the cookie-cutters at the chain stores.

Michelle was the best. I had amazing chemical treatment and facial! She has very gentle touch and booked another appointment for my mother next week with Michelle. I swear I walked out looking and feeling 10 years younger. Will definitely be going here more often from now on!

This is a clean, comfortable and very well run Salon! My vote is for Paige Gosselin, she is the BEST! You know when a stylist is booked out 2-3 weeks, he/she is well worth choosing. Also, Paige has Square up for Booking, no more calling an getting put on hold only to find our your stylist is not available. YOu can access her calendar, choose the service which will allot sufficient time for her to focus on you!

Hidi (Haida) is the best! I've had my hair done 3 times now and have loved each color and cut! She recently made my hair a unique pinky beige blonde that I absolutely love! She takes her time, keeps my hair healthy, and is wonderful to spend time with. It'll feel like getting your hair done by a friend. I'm not super knowledgeable about hair, but I trust that it'll always turn out how I want and look wonderful thanks to Hidi (Haida)! Hidi (Haida) is the absolute best. I went previously for a blow out and cuts but today I got a cut and highlight and WOWZERS. My husband even said, "That Hidi is my favorite, " because I always come home looking beautiful. Want proof, check out my pic from today of my long layered cut and incredible highlight. Also! Ask her for tips and preventing frizziest if you are adding bleach in any capacity to your hair. She has the trick! And finally, not only is she an incredible stylist, she has amazing energy and is such an interesting person to talk to!

I've been coming here for almost 4 years and have loved the space and the Service. Hidi is my hairdresser and makeup artist. I have so much to say about this jewel. She's professional, caring, knowledgeable and everything you can ask your hairdresser and makeup artist to be. She gave me the best haircut of my life. She's amazing with color and highlight!

I always leave feeling beautiful and taken care of. About her makeup: I normally do not like when I get my makeup done and feel like I do not look like myself, however that was not a case with Hidi at all. I highly recommended her. I've found this salon to be a place with reasonable prices, relaxing setting and nice people. I've been coming back in 4 years.

I enjoy this place because the stylists are very welcoming and want to be there. My fave is Paige, a rockstar when it comes to expert hair & color design. For those special occasions, or if you just want to look like a super model, let her professionally apply your make up. The overall salon is a lovely retreat with a great staff.

Wow! That was amazing! I'm a guy, and a veteran at that, so I never really put much thought into my haircuts, but the difference between a salon and a strip-mall is HUGE! The stylist wasn't just trying to "turn over" the chair, but really knew how to make me look my best. I'm hooked!

Minoo Johnson has been our hairstylist colorist for a long time. She's simply the best we ever had and so my partner and I followed her to her new location - le joli salon. A really nice and welcoming place.

Le Joli is an upper scale salon located in West Hills. I came across this location through group-on where I purchased a Balayage treatment and cut. I texted Haida when she was available for an appointment and she replied within the next day. She scheduled me for an appointment less than a week later. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Haida and noticed the beautiful venue of the salon.

It was very homey and welcoming. Water, coffee, and snacks were available if needed. For my actual appointment, Haida did a quick consultation for my hair and advised me to do several things that were different than what I wanted to do. I trusted her recommendation andI don't regret it. Haida is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She took my session very personally and you could tell she takes passion in her work.

She selected the coloring and cut that looked the absolute best for me. She makes great conversation and works well while she juggles with daily life! Definitely a recommendation for anyone looking to change to their style!

Title: Fantastic up-scale salon I've been going to see Helen (co-owner/stylist) for nearly 19 years. This salon is her vision. She's so good that it's worth a drive from Oxnard! Helen doesn't take new clients now. I've observed her staff and can tell you that they are also quite friendly and skilled and really do a great job. You can tell by the number of "repeat" customers, some of whom I've seen for years!

I have also used the salon's waxing and threading services. They are excellent as well. However, once a month I go for my regular cut /color/style. You know how it it is. It takes time to do a good job. So, I have had time to watch and appreciate the level of service that Helen and her staff provide. It's top-notch. I enjoy the pampering and will continue to visit such a high quality and beautiful salon. Where they care about me.
