Patricia Hurst, the owner, is a magician with hair. She can make even the worst hair look amazing. She is the consummate professional. You will never leave her chair without her assessment that you look absolutely perfect.

My husband recently told a friend that I never return from Patty's salon without amazing looking hair. If you need a change in your hairdresser, Sparx is the place to go. You will be treated as a cherished friend and be given the best cut and color ever.

Very professional salon, a bit pricey but well worth it for a real talented hair stylist. Patty and her assistant Cindy really make you feel comfortable from the start, working with you step by step until you are 100% satisfied. Overall, a great experience with great results.

Given my self-image issues, I never thought this type of salon would work for me, that the employees would accept me. Boy was I wrong! From day 1, I was warmly welcomed by Pat, Cindy and Olivia. They spent time asking what I was looking for, showing me samples, offering suggestions. in other words, not jumping into what *they* think would work. It was truly what *I* wanted, and it's continued for the past 3 years. Quaint, comfortable atmosphere plus the wonderful staff.

It takes quite some time to do all the work on my hair but it never drags. I'll say that it's pricey but the job gets done well and the color lasts. I also had a makeover; what fun! I highly recommend it!

Once again, the stylists at Sparx Salon performed their artistic talents on me and turned a frizzy, dry head of hair into a soft, cool style. So grateful to Pat and Cindy. They are truly masters of their craft.

More than I imagined, Pat creates the best positive surrounding environment, and all the staff is wonderful. When I left, there was a new vitality added to my image. Wonderful professional styling with a special touch of vibrant energy.

What a lovely place. Exactly what to expect from our beautiful small town. Owners are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. After having a so-so experience at another local salon I was searching for a better place, and my search is officially over

Just called them today for the first time and they were able to schedule me in right away. YES! Had the ladies there tone down my doo from the awful black hair color experiment I did last year back to my natural medium brown hair color. Plus got rid of all the annoying grey. A little pricier than expected, but considering it was a multi process undertaking, I'm very satisfied with the results. PLUS the staff was very friendly and knew their stuff. All is now good in the Kingdom of ME. I definitely recommend you stop by this local gem.

I have been going to Sparx for about a year. The service is great and people friendly. You always get a very good haircut and the coloring is fantastic. You leave feeling beautiful and relaxed. I highly recommend Pat and her team for all your salon needs.
