Go see the girls at Nirvana Nails. Beautiful work! These girls really know what they're doing! There's a reason the salon has been in business as long as it has. That, in itself should speak volumes to anyone looking for a nail salon. The place is warm, friendly and the girls make you feel right at home.

Nirvana Nails on River Road in Fair Haven, NJ is definitely not closed, nor has it been closed. I've been a client here for years! I have always enjoyed coming here. I love my appointment times. Gives me an opportunity to catch up with Dawn, the owner. A good manicurist, like a good bartender, is someone you can talk to it's not all about the mani or pedi (even though, they are meticulously done) I enjoy the entire experience. I've been to salons where you walk in and you become part of an assembly line, customers are on their phones and nobody talks- that's not for me. Nirvana Nails is more like Cheers - where everybody knows your name. I like the friendly, social atmosphere this salon offers. If you're looking for a clean, friendly salon that does great work - this is the place.

I had high hopes for a shop in Fair Haven- but I knew from the chemical smell going in it wasn't going to be good. I was there for pedicure only ($32). Color selection decent. Chairs not so comfy (did not recline). My main beef was with the pedicure itself- no bleeding or anything but the girl's nails kept scratching my feet. And both she and the pedicurist next to her kept answering their cell phones and drinking Dunkin Donuts. Answering the phones is inexcusable, and I expect your hands to be clean on my feet- not potentially sticky from a latte. Definitely will not go back.
