Bella did my makeup and it was AMAZING as an understatement. the salon is filled with all nice people who work there and always have a lovely smile on there face! bella made sure i looked exactly like the picture i showed and made me feel comfortable while doing it for me plus the prices are great for such great service. the booking was easy, and the service was even better!

Dustin did a partial highlight on my hair this week. He is extremely precise with placing the foils so that it blends with my natural color. He uses a band break to bring out the color and lightens my hair so naturally. He is professional, personable and amazing at what he does. He really cares about each client and he definitely loves what he does and it shows with the outcome of each of my appointments.

Be careful regarding tacked on costs for services you did not request. While my color and cut was extremely well done, I was charged for a service that I did not request. I also left without getting a blowout, not realizing that the blowout was included in the cost of the cut. I wish my stylist had told me that she was going to be putting something on my hair that was going to cost me an additional $60-$80 and that the blowout was included so I might as well receive it. Had I been made aware that I would be receiving an additional service for an additional cost I would have said no. I am happy with the way my hair looks but I feel deceived and never would have gotten my hair done if I knew I would be spending $80 more than I was intending.

When I initially found out about Sean, my hair had no life, no style and it was falling out. That was 3 years ago. Today I have a full head of healthy hair and a very stylish cut with highlights. I love going there because it's clean and safe. Everybody knows your name and I know the compliments are coming as soon as I leave. Thank you Sean and the entire Jon Lori staff for being the best

Place is nice.clean. Stylist Courtney was very nice, competent BUT their pricing schedule is not posted and unclear on the website. I understand that most salons have a tier system regarding their stylists and pricing, but I paid $54, not including the tip, for a standard mens haircut which is ridiculous. I will not be returning and I strongly advise the guys to find a simple, cheaper solution FOLLOW UP - the salon contacted me and apologized for the lack of clarity on the website and offered to refund my money - they were very gracious and genuinely concerned that I was satisfied with my experience. (I refused the refund - Courtney was not at fault) The price is still too high for a simple man like myself to get a haircut but I have no doubt that this is a very friendly and professional salon.

I love Jon Lori Salon! I've been going here for the last 3 years after jumping around to different salons in the Red Bank area. I go to Michelle and absolutely love her for both cuts and balayage. The online booking system is great and so is the the vibe in the salon. It's always a great experience and worth the price.

Wow! I love Jon Lori Salon even more each time I go! I moved to the Jersey Shore from North Jersey about a year ago and received a really nice welcome letter from the salon owner. I decided to give them a shot after reading such great online reviews. I had high expectations because I loved my prior hair dresser. I walked in and they had me at "Hello!" They were so friendly and inviting from the moment I entered.

I didn't feel at all uncomfortable, like in some aloof salons. They then introduced me to Dustin, who was very friendly and he did an excellent job conditioning, cutting and styling my hair. I've been going to him for almost a year now and referred my daughter and boyfriend, who also love how he styles their hair. Kudos to Jon Lori for always providing such a great experience!

I love this salon. My work schedule is always changing, so I'm a last minute person when I comes to appointments. And I know that no matter who's available that day, I'm going to get a great haircut. Highly professional staff. Relaxing environment.

Wonderful experience from greeting to leaving. Was given a gift certificate. A very relaxing experience. I have curly hair and went to Stephanie as she is Quidad certified for curly hair. My daughter and I long ago admired someone's curls in a restaurant and she told us she has been coming here for years, Stephanie does her hair. My daughter immediately made an appointment.

At the time I had not yet embraced my curls, which has recently changed. Stephanie evaluated my hair, then I went to the washing station. Massage chairs and massage hair washing. Stephanie cut my hair and used Quidad products. She showed me how to properly use the products. Put me under the dryer so she could see how my hair dried. When my hair got crunchy and those who have curly hair will understand what I mean by that, she showed me how to soften my hair and finish it.

Had my first appointment with Stephanie last Saturday! I couldn't be more pleased with my hair. The cut and color are perfect. After a consultation she went right to work and its exactly what I wanted. Everyone in the salon were so friendly and so eager to make me feel comfortable. I can't wait to go back!

Jon Lori salon exceeded my expectations. We are new to the area so wanted to try out, and it was fantastic. I had 2 blowouts there with Michelle and Cindy and am already excited to go back. Just got my hair highlighted for the first time, and had an incredible incredible experience! As I had my hair washed, my back reclined and feet plopped up while the massage turned on inside the chair. After a relaxing rinse, the overall outcome of my experience gradually got better and better. Thank you Courtney!

I have been going to Jon Lori for years. Where they set themselves apart is their amazing customer service and compassion. My mother, who has Alzheimer's Disease and I would come to get our hair done by Pam. From the moment we walked in the door, everyone made a fuss over my mother and made her feel at home. Even when she would wander, the staff would never make her feel anything but at home. Recently, my husband died and I desperately needed my hair done--it was the day before Christmas Eve and I knew it would be near impossible.

By some incredible circumstance, Giovanna had a last minute cancellation. When she heard about my circumstance, she made it her business to take care of me and not only cut and style my hair, which the appointment had been for, but quickly provided a much-needed color for my recently acquired greys. Giovanna had never met me before! She was a bright spot in an otherwise horrible day.

The compassion comes from the top--Jon and Lori and their entire family--children and staff, could not be kinder. By the way, there does not exist the crazy client hording that other salons allow. If your regular person is not available, you can make an appointment with anyone who is, without any hard feelings. This is a first-class, well-operated salon.

This is my first time at the salon, and going to Kaitlin. I'm new to the area and asked for a blonde color specialist. Kaitlin did a great job with my cut and color! My husband says it's the best hair cut I have received. That's the best compliment. I referred her to a co-worker also new to the area. I will definitely be back.

I've been going here for years and at first I would only see Jaime. But since they are very popular hear I took the leap to try other stylists. Time after Time never disappointed. Also they really are so accommodating and I notice they take pride in understanding the latest and newest hair care trends. Some salons don't keep up with the times but here they sure do!

I have been going to Jon Lori for over 16 years and I really wouldn't trust my color to anyone but Annette. I have difficult, coarse thick hair and she always brings out the best in it, keeps me styled and colored appropriately for my age, the times and my hair. My daughters have used various stylists for proms, cuts, and blow outs--we are always happy with the attention and service of everyone here--from Rosemary and the girls at reception to the apprentice shampooing to our stylist--everyone is professional and interested in you having the best hair experience you can.

I used to go to a big name salon in the city with big attitude to match but I've never felt the need to go back. I'm always happy and feel I look my best leaving this salon.

What a rip off for what it is. They must upcharge for attitude. My daughter and I will never go back. So many other much better salons in the area that produce better results.

Ive been coming here for a while now and I love coming! I'd absolutely would recommend Sean! So attentive to detail and my Baliage (don't know how to spell it!) looks so beautiful still 6 weeks later! My blond is exactly what I wanted! He is very consistent so I know every time I go I'm getting he best! I don't have a ton of time to spend in my hair and you know you get a great hair cut when you don't have to do much to it in the morning!

I just had my 5 year old sons hair cut today by Sean for the first time and it's perfect! My son gets nervous getting his hair cut but Sean became his best friend! It so amazing to see the confidence in my son now by a haircut! Thank you for everything!

This salon has been here a long time with a big following, But they let me down for my son's wedding. I'm from out of town and Jon Lori was recommended for hair and makeup. I scheduled a trial run for hair on Thurs night 10/6/16 for the rehearsal dinner, and stephanie was enthusiastic, recommended a curly blowout, and it was great. Sat morning 10/8 at 9, the day of the wedding, this young lady was definitely distracted.

She was so subdued compared to Thurs night. She started to work on my hair dry. I had to remind her that my hair was to be washed. The stylist next to her was watching, a bit concerned and suggested adding oil for some shine. The blowout was ordinary, nothing like the trial run -- and it looked it in the wedding pictures. Makeup was a total disaster.

I have my makeup done often for TV so I know what good is. I have no crepe or lines in my face but by the time this artist finished adding layers of makeup, and powder I was full of lines and crevices. That she thought this looked good was shocking. She agreed it was too much powder, sponged it off, and my skin was smooth again, but I didn't have the polished makeup artist look I'd hoped to have. She then repeated it with my sister giving her ruddy complexion a hearty dose of blush. Close to $300 without a trace of glamour. I have lots of pictures to remind me!

I went here because it was close to home and I needed a hair cut. I am so glad I did. Kaitlin does a wonderful job with my very fine, pin straight hair. She really knows how to cut it to get the most volume out of it. They are a very large salon, but the staff are always friendly and treat you like the only one there. I have always been offered a beverage, tea, coffee, wine, etc which is a nice touch.

I've been going to Jon Lori for a few years and like my level three colorist, but have extreme reservations about it being a teaching salon. The assistants aren't only inexperienced, most of them lack talent. Dana, who recently worked on me, failed to wash all of the dye out of my hair and burned my scalp with a hair dryer. Often, the colorists will double book and have their assistants apply your glaze.

If they tell you anyone can do it, don't believe them and ask that they make time to do it instead. You're paying for a level 3 stylist's expertise, not a teenager right out of beauty school who can't hold a brush. As mentioned, I do think some of the colorists here are talented. Just make sure they're the ones actually color your hair!

I've been going to Pam for a couple of years. It wasn't easy finding a new stylist. She is a true professional and she knows not only to cut and color but does an amazing job with adding extensions. I highly recommend Pam! Jon Lori Salon is also a really great salon overall.

Have been there 2 times and both times, I didnt love my experience. The stylist was fine but rushed through my color. Then when checking out, I was told no credit cards and then when I told them I wish someone was clear regarding their policy when I booked my appointment, they said "oh well.its the policy sorry". The made an exception and took my credit card, but made me feel bad about it and told me that only this one time would they make an exception. I think there are way better salons in the area to visit and was not impressed by this "stuffy" salon.
