Starting out doing hair out of her home, Annette Felk, the owner, always dreamed of owning her own salon and spa, where people would feel comfortable and welcome. In 1996, that all came to life when she bought her own building right on Woodward Ave. She turned a local donut shop into a two-story full-service spa. At one point, what seemed to be just a dream was now a reality for Annette. Annette's Hair Studio & Spa has currently been a successful business for 22 years. Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Annette has always been passionate about the artistry of hair and the enjoyment of making people and her clients feel beautiful.

Hotheads Hair Extensions are human hair, adhesive weft extensions that are applied without the need for tools or heat. Our goal was to create a revolutionary product for the salon professional that was simple.

Love the hair services and the prices. Aesthetician prices are way too high, though. I would not use them again for facials. I was disappointed that the aesthetician would not even look at my skin before scheduling to give me an idea of what services would be best for my skin. Had to book the full meal deal

Ashlei does my hair and I followed her to Annette's from her previous salon, I trust her with any hair request I make, sometimes I even let her decide what she wants to do when it comes to my color and it always turns out great. She makes sure everything is perfect even down to your haircut she will make sure it flows and lays perfectly each time. She's great at what she does!

I have been going to Annette's for my hair for almost 15 years now. It took a little while for me to find a stylist I preferred, but I always came out with a fantastic cut no matter who it was. I've been seeing Annette now for over 10 years and she knows who I am and what I want for my hair whenever I come in. She makes suggestions for my hair health and everything she has recommended for me has worked great. I will not go anywhere else for my hair!

My first visit at Annette's was on a day that was Very important for me! I came on Wednesday March 18 to meet with a Monica for a color correction. I had my hair colored the Wednesday of the week before at a salon in Clawson. The result was a terrible disappointment as the stylist used the exact opposite approach to the color I wanted! A family Member suggested that I make an appointment with Monica, so I did.
She rescued my hair from the disaster I was left with from the first stylist. I could not be more happy with the great result! Monica was awesome in every aspect of my requests. I really appreciate the way she lifted my Self esteem, she was so helpful and listened carefully to what I had to say! I recommend her to Anyone who needs a great, new stylist. I will return for all future hair care needs.

I was lucky enough to find Annette's Hair Studio years ago through a couple friends and I will never go anywhere else! Visiting Annette's for my hair cut and dye needs is like a treat. The decor is so fun and Annette herself, is a lovely person. You can tell she takes pride in her work and business and that is reflected in all the little details. I have never been anything but 100% in love with my hair whenever I leave! Now, if only I had those styling skills to create the same perfect results at home.ha ha!

I've never gone to a studio quite like Annette's. Everytime I come here I feel very welcome by the staff, and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. The prices are very affordable and you won't be disappointed with whatever you choose to get done! Kerri Tucker is my hair stylist and occasionally does my makeup and eyebrows and I would recommend her to any one who is looking for a good stylist!
She will make sure you are satisfied with your product and is a very likeable, social person. I only come to her now, and always leave very satisfied! She can do just about anything, and is very professional and aware of many styles even if you don't know exactly what you want she is always very helpful with suggestions. Overall, Annette's is my favorite salon I've ever been to and wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have been going to Annette's for a little over a year, and I couldn't be happier! I see Maria, who is an excellent hairstylist and cares about her clients. I let her take my naturally blonde hair to red last fall, and people who didn't know me complimented me on my "gorgeous natural copper color". She always makes sure you are happy with the end result before you leave. The rest of the stylists are very warm and welcoming, and they compliment each other on their work. I won't be switching salons any time soon!
