I lucked out when I found Olga a few years ago. I always left feeling fresh and confident. Since moving back in September of 2020, I haven't been able to find someone who could do my eyebrows as well as Olga did. Service: Waxing

Haven't been to a hair salon in a decade and decided to go to Salon Alure in Purcellville. My hair has always been flat and cut straight across the bottom. Harman gave me an AMAZING haircut, I showed him a few pictures of what I wanted and he was able to talk me through he his suggestions on how to layer my hair and frame my face. I was super happy with the outcome, and am so glad I found a hairstylist that works! I will definitely be coming back!

I went in for a haircut with Harman and was very anxious! I showed him some pictures and he told me the truth -- what I wanted would not look good for my face shape, so I told him to do what would! And I could not be happier with the results. Definitely go see Harman if you are looking to get your hair done in Western Loudoun!

Really torn here because I enjoyed Jessie (male) as a person, but my blowout was such a disappointment! I asked for big curls, and I got straight hair that was really frizzy. It looked ok at the salon, and then 2 hours later, it looked so frizzy and dead. I could have done a better job myself. I have an event and I'll probably have to wash my hair before it.

I made an appointment with Harman after seeing all the reviews. I had thinning fine hair and told him that I wanted to go shorter to get more volume. I have curly fine thin hair so it's not something most hairstylists I've had in the past been great with. Harman gave me the best amazing haircut of my life. It was a shock at first, I've never had such short hair but I get compliments on it every day, it makes me look much younger, it's so much easier to manage and I've a ton of volume. I will never stop going to him. If you see this Harman and I hope you do, thank you so much. You're the best! Also, I love my hair color too (he gave me highlights).

Harman Nayyar is FANTASTIC! Love my results. I was looking to lighten my hair while keeping a natural look and it looks beautiful. He was professional and so sweet with my 5 year old daughter. I'm absolutely going back. Thank you!

Disastrous, I went in looking for help and ended up having my hair chopped off without giving the man my permission. I am devastated after going to this place called salon allure. Why would a hairdresser even cut your hair without asking what you want and listening to your answer? The man's name is Jesse and you should watch out before you do anything with him except get a color.

Harrman is a gift. I had a hair color emergency and Allure was wlecoming enough to squeeze me in as their last call on a Friday evening after I had to walk out on my old hair stylist because he was refusing adamantly to give me a purple shade to my hair. I presented my worries to Harrman and he told me that for that day he will give me a great haircut and asked me to be patient for a week and come back next Friday for the coloring(balayage).

He listened to my requirements, understood it, and promised to deliver something I would love. The next Friday, I arrived as the first customer and they were ready for me. Harrman treated my hair with care and concern, and took time deciding the shades he thought would look fab on me ( purple being the star color to deliver). The first outcome after 3.5 hours of balayage was not EXACTLY what I wanted.

And instead of brushing me off with something I didnt LOVE, Harrman spent another hour recoloring and making my haircolor what I LOVE. The result was spectacular! I am a happy woman now with hair color I love. I would like to see more purple (again, my fault at not giving him the right proportion number when he asked)so I am going back in another 6 weeks to get more purple in.

But in short, all I have to say is, if you want someone who will listen to your needs and deliver for tou waht you wish, Allure and Harrman is the place to go. They will make you leave feeling warm, fuzzies, and happy!

Harman is literally my favorite person ever, he gives me the absolute best haircut of my life everytime I walk in there. He teaches me how to care for my hair and listens to what I want. To say he is a hairstylist is underselling it, this man is an artist and he makes me look my best. To describe my experience there with words is nigh on impossible but I hope what you take away from reading this is that this man has never, in all his time cutting my hair, left me disappointed or unhappy.

I went here again recently and couldn't get Eva, my previous stylist, but settled for another stylist hoping for the best. Nope. They didn't add volumizer this time, my stylist barely knew how to do a bouncy blowout like Eva did (even after I showed him photos of my last one) & then he called over another stylist to curl my hair when ALL I wanted was a simple blowout. I was not informed about it being a $22 upcharge and basically got scammed. Could've just done my hair at home.

Rashmi gave me partial highlights and did a super job. My only complaint was the cost. When I booked the website said the cost would be $108 so you can imagine my surprise when she told me my total was $182. She charged me $25 for toner (never asked if I wanted it nor that it would cost extra) and she charged me another $49 to blow dry my hair. When I questioned her she said it was for "styling".

My parents have owned salons when I was growing up and I've been to many salons since they retired and "styling" was never an extra cost. Rashmi did reduce the cost by $10 since I complained, but I'm still frustrated. If you're going to charge $49 for a blow dry then either tell the customer first or change the website price to $157. I feel blindsided and don't like that!

Harman was terrific. Best haircut I've had in years. My mom and I were trimming our own hair during covid and he fixed all our mistakes. Their products made both our hair super soft. Both Harman and Nicola were nice and professional. Nicola gave the best hair wash I've probably ever had. She was very gentle and did a wonderful head massage.

Hair by Harman. He always makes makes me feel pretty. All staff at the Purcellville location are so friendly and welcoming, like family. The best color and cut. I highly recommend. Service: Hairstyling

I highly recommend Jessi! I swear, that girl knows what she's doing. I was a first time "blonde" before going to her and was never told about a toner or anything so my hair turned brassy, orange, yuck. Anyway, I met with Jessi and told her I wanted to get rid of the blonde bc I couldnt afford to go in every 2 months, she told me we can keep the blonde and mentioned the toner and other things to keep it from going orange, though I would have loved it, I think I was over it at this point so I told her I want to go dark but not too dark.

Something natural w/ some natural highlights. She did EXACTLY THAT. My hair looks so natural w/ some natural streaks. I'm so in love. She also cut my hair and I love it! I found the perfect forever length. A facial was also included, which was awesome. I had to take my 2 year old and if you're a momma to a toddler, you know what that's like. It's tough, lol jessi and the staff were all so patient with him.

Play with him. I would often have to take breaks and jessi was incredibly patient. I would give 5 stars all towards jessi and staff but the 4 is for how expensive it is! I did not expect to be walking out and paying that much but I will not lie, it was all so worth it in the end. Highly recommend this salon and Jessi!

DO NOT GO HERE!. I went in for highlights and left with bright orange roots (? Because I have brown hair so naturally brown roots) and the rest was over processed brassy yellow.this was back in feb. I immediately went back for him to fix it and when he was done not only was it not fixed, he chemically burned off a crazy amount of hair. When I went to a new salon, the stylists were shocked that someone let me leave their salon with hair looking like that. Needless to say, I have NOT gone back to him. 7 months later I am beyond frustrated because my hair is still much thinner than it used to be and extremely damaged despite using pureology shampoo and conditioner (which has helped a ton!).

If you do not want to spend an absurd amount of money to have your hair burned off, PLEASE try somewhere else! Otherwise you will be dealing with the consequences for a while like I am and I would not wish that on anyone. PS the picture does not show how truly bad it was.

Salon allure is a great place for color, cuts, waxing and facials. I have been going there for years now with Jesse Z for cuts and color. My daughter goes to Jesse z and Olga as an aesthetician. Never a disappointment! Jesse Z is really talented and fast. I'm way too busy to spend the day in the chair. Every time, I'm happy with the services received. This salon is highly recommended. Super pleasant staff too.

Made an appointment here based on the reviews. I walked in for my appointment at 6:15 & was walking out at 6:33 and $65 out of pocket-that was with shampoo and no blow dry. Waaaaay to expensive for the service given-I felt very rushed and not relaxed at all. My former hairdresser charged me half that- and did just as good of a job.

I have been going here for close to 4 years and I've never had a bad experience! Jessi G (Girl Jessie.because there are 2 Jessies) is Incredible! She is so good with color, balayage, and basically anything you want to get done she can do. She always listens to what I want and always has ideas within what I'm looking for. Followup to my review from yesterday: Within hours of posting my review regarding two disappointing experiences with Salon Alure, I received a phone message from one of the managers. Unfortunately, I could not hear the woman's name. I went to the salon today and asked to speak with a manager, and actually met with the owner (Mr. Carmen- apologies if that is not the correct spelling).

He listened to my tale and asked if I could wait 10 or 15 minutes and he would have one of his stylists fix the issue. That stylist ended up being a wonderful man named Jesse Z. He was able to diagnose my issue immediately and assured me that bobs are his specialty. He was not lying. He was able to make my hair look great. But Salon Alure did not just simply have someone fix the problem.

When I was checking out.they not only did not charge me for today's fix (which I expected).they gave me a gift certificate for my next visit as well. I certainly did not ask for that, nor was I expecting it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative. I know everyone has a bad day now and then, Lord knows I have had my share. But my experience today with Salon Alure has renewed my faith and I look forward to my next appointment with Jesse. I've gotten my eyebrows first threaded a few years ago here and they were some so well! I ended up switching to waxing because of how thick my eyebrows are. Both situations have been wonderful. The technicians are kind, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend going here for getting eyebrows done. I'm planning on getting my hair done here in the near future

Love! I walked in with jacked up hair from bad dye jobs and horrible cuts. Sat down in Claudia's chair and an hour later walked out with gorgeous hair! It figures I would finally find my stylist right before I move.

Got my hair colored and cut today by the lovely Holly. She did a fantastic job and will definitely be going back. Katie the receptionist was very friendly and offered me tea/coffee. Thank you ladies for an enjoyable experience. Keep up the great work!

Kristen has moved out of the area and is no longer there, as of June. She had recommended two stylists in the salon to me, to take over in her stead, and after 12 years of association with this salon (my mom has been coming since 2005), I won't be going back. I had called weeks ahead and scheduled an appointment for July 1, as my husband would be home from Afghanistan (deployed) and I wanted to have fab hair for the occasion.

When it was a week out, I learned he would be coming home sooner, so I asked to reschedule to an earlier spot, and the receptionist couldn't find my appointment because the last person to take my call scheduled it for AUGUST 1. Now, I KNOW this was not my error because I won't even still be living in VA in August. #Armylife There were some doubtful apologies, and I was scheduled for a stylist I had never seen, nor was recommended to me. Jessi (male, not the female Jessi-- who is who I was HOPING to see).

He did a fantastic job on the trimming of my hair, however he did not listen AT ALL when I asked to be dyed back to my natural color, even though I had two inches of root showing, he dyed my hair several shades darker than I am naturally, AND put a red hue on my hair, which I naturally have NO HINT of a red tone whatsoever. I came in WITH the hair color I wanted, thanks to Kristen, my previous lady, and instead I now look like a wanna be goth kid with "seemingly" jet black hair, when I'm naturally a dark blonde.

Now there's nothing I can do about it, because it would be a $500 color correction, for his error in not listening to what I SAID was my hair color, and him instead going with what "goes with my skin tone" because he "mixed 4 different colors to achieve my natural color." I won't be back. And since Kristen is gone, I doubt my mom of 12 or so years of this salon will be either.

I've had several hairstylists throughout the last couple years at Salon Allure and have always been very satisfied. My favorites for color are Kristen and Jessie G. For my husband and son I recommend Jose or Jessie B. Nice owners, complimentary facials, best tea I've ever had and fair prices based on experience. Although Kristen left for Florida, Jessie G stepped up and works out great. We are happy.

I had an appointment with my regular stylist at a dIfferent salon in Purcellville and she cancelled on me.again. I was getting ready to leave the country in a few days and really needed it cut amidst all of the million other things I needed to do to get ready to leave. I called to see if there was any way they could fit me in and if at all possible with a stylist who does razor cuts on short hair.

Tall order I know! The woman on the phone said they had just the person and could fit me in in a half an hour. I got there a little early and decided to press my luck and see if anyone there could do my eyebrows. They said they'd check while I was getting my hair cut. Then I proceeded to get one of the best haircuts I've ever had! Jessie is incredible.

Not only did he do a great job he explained the how's and whys of the method and tools he was using. He was also extremely fast! I've got terribly fine and flat hair but he gave it so much depth and texture! I've found my new stylist! After my haircut Rashmi (spelling?) asked if I wanted my eyebrows threaded. I've had them threaded once before and it hurt! Rashmi was great.

It didn't hurt much at all! I also have very boring brows with no arch and she was able to give me a little bit of one. I'll definitely be back for her too! Great job all around! I've lived in Purcellvillle for ten years and I'm sad that I'm just now finding this shop. I highly recommend Jessie and Rashmi! Oh and Thank you Krysti at the front desk for getting me in!
