Island Girl Nails

Shame on me for not digging more. Being charged $30 to have gel removed is nearly equivalent to a full manicure from a top salon in Bellevue. Never have I had a manicure without a nail trim and yet paid $64. This is not evenly remotely worth the price.

The only place I frequent on the island for nail and foot care. Wonderful staff and comfy venue.

Best nail salon on the island. Vicki is a stickler for details and I always leave with perfect manicures and pedicures. The super fast drying Dazzle Dry polish system is awesome, literally will last three weeks without chipping.

Always great service. This may be one of the harder places to get a last minute appointment with, but anytime you can get in its worth it.

Incredible deluxe pedi with paraffin wax on hands and feet. Great conversation, luxury personal service for hour and half with tea for great price. Good value and good conscientious atmosphere. Jill G puts the meaning in the phrase: "Practice kindness all day to everybody and you will realize you're already in heaven now." Will book with gentle Jill again.

What a great place! I had the Delux Pedi. What a relaxing experience! There's s really nice vibe to this salon. Will definitely return!

We are so lucky to have this nail salon on the island. They are the best! The quality and attention to detail is far above any other salon I've been to. It's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and they really care about their customers.

My first experience with Island Girl Nails was with Jill - and she is smashing good at pedicures. Here's what makes Island Girl Nails special -- - Vicki was great! She squeezed me in before I had to take off on vacation. She really makes an effort to get her customers taken care of well! - The foot bath water was brought to me by Jill in a soaking tub. I've had a few pedicures like this before and the *other* ones cooled off quickly but not here!

The soak was warm throughout and was a perfect temperature. It felt great! - I had a choice of a paraffin wax treatment or a keratin treatment. I decided on the keratin treatment and it was f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! I have no idea how much cost the salon must take on with such high quality products but the special softening treatment left my feet refreshed and soft as silk for days!

Here is a tip: Go for "peach" keratin lotion. It is delicately scented in a very good way. Very natural and not at all artificial like other salons! - Jill is very good at pedicures! I got her complete and undivided attention for over an hour! Jill is very friendly and one of the best nail techs to talk to. I was so happy with the results that I booked another visit before leaving the salon!

I am a first time customer to Island Girl Nails and scheduled a deluxe pedicure and manicure with owner Vicki Thompson. I purchased a gift certificate at a local non-profit event, so I already had a good impression of a business that "gives back" to their community. I had no idea how much of a treat I was in for! From the beautifully decorated salon to the friendly and talented staff, my 90 minute appointment was pure bliss.

I decided on the keratin treatment for both my hands and feet and highly recommend the service. Vicki makes this experience feel customized and highly personal and my toes and fingers look beautiful and feel so moisturized. They recently installed a mani-bar up front and it is both comfortable and convenient. Oh, and there online reservation system is top notch - you can schedule easily and get reminders of your appointment automatically sent to you. Thanks for the lovely afternoon and good conversation.a LOT of laughter goes on here, so if you don't like to smile, best go elsewhere! I look forward to my next visit!

They do a great job on my nails every time. I love getting a pedicure here and they even put up with my young children once or twice with good humor.

Vicki, and her team, is very courteous and talented. They offer a full selection of offerings and have easy on-line reservation system, which I find very convenient every time I need an appointment.

I have frequently recommended Island Girls to friends & neighbors. The salon is a bright, very tidy, cheerful, happy place. I usually go to Cathie & enjoy catching up with her. No matter who you see, your pedicure will last. They do a great job.

The ladies working there are kind and bubbly, and the decor is so pretty! Glass blown chandeliers! Our nails and pedicures were great too.

Great experience here. Love booking with Sarah and Vicki - they do very quality work. This place is warm, comfortable, and friendly - and you feel like every service is done with the utmost care in sanitation and cleanliness. The massage lotion transported me to Hawaii, and the custom "salt" defoliant is extra yummy too. Worth a stop after you get off the ferry (just 2 minutes up the hill), if you are coming over to Langley or Coupeville for a fun island day.

These ladies are the best! I take my daughters and we have a great time. They have two "kid" pedicure chairs so the little ones can participate.

My friend's sister was getting married on Whidbey, so we had a "girls' day out" here the afternoon before to relax and get our nails done. Everyone was really friendly and talkative (but not overly so). The owner's dog was adorable (and decked out in a Seahawks shirt). They let us bring in wine and snacks, and did a great job with my nails. Definitely a great, relaxing experience.
