I had an appointment with Renee today, at least I thought I did until she informed me she is really book and she won't be done with my hair in the average time of 2hours, so she pass me off to Nelly who was nice however I don't think was into hair care as she tried to use excessive heat. If you going to recommend someone explain there background or refer to the owner someone who specializes in natural hair care.

My hair does not need a lot of heat after it blown out, but she still tried to apply more to it. The administrative staff not so good as communication was minimal. I won't be going back. Thanks Nelly for doing my hair in such short notice.

I wanted to like this place but 4 hours for a wash blow dry and flat iron. I'll pass.

Koren was great, she cut my hair exactly how I asked her. Cole Stevens is my go to salon and I will keep coming back for the great stylist.

My hair always looks and feels great BUT I wish the administration and customer service aspect were more proactive and professional. I return for the hair but I always end up leaving due to mistakes, miscommunication and foolishness.

I don't know what to say or how to feel. The quality of my flat twists are poor. I mean it's not even and it's definitely not neat. Not satisfied at all. I'm only giving it a 3 star because the customer service was great.

Diane is an artist, teacher, and overall amazing person! Not only has she established a top notch salon with a truly talented staff, but she understands the importance of ongoing professional development (for the whole community) AND gives back to the community on a regular basis. The staff have a particular talent for working miracles on natural hair.

I decided to go from dark brown hair to medium brown with blonde pop highlights in the from at this salon. I was very vocal about what I wanted and kept asking questions throughout the process before the hairstylist was silent. I am a natural curly hair girl so I wanted a medium brown color and a few blonde highlights on my front curls. I did not even get close to what I wanted.

For one I was overcharged, ended paying $520 dollars and it wasn't worth it. In the end I went back to complain and voice my opinion I did not receive one sorry. I was charged for a balayage yet my hair has streaks of highlights all over my head with no transition into the blonde. There are patches of orange/yellow and areas in the back of my head that don't even have color.

One side of my head the highlights are very light than the other side, the highlights are no where close to being balanced. I'm completely disappointed, angry, lied to, and etc. Please go to a professional salon that knows what they are doing with transitioning to blonde and how to properly color/highlights hair. Diane did the first process of my hair which was part of their jingle highlights which is completely a scam and then Johannie did the second part which is the highlights, where I was charged for a balayage but received highlights all over my head. Please don't go here. Spend your money where you will receive results wanted!

Upscale salon experience that never disappoints. Service is impeccable and although the cost is on the higher end you absolutely get what you pay for which is top tier service and superior haircare. I would recommend Cole Stevens to anyone that is looking for an exceptional salon that is clean, professional and welcoming. Koren is the best stylist and my #1 choice hands down, but the other stylists are pretty amazing.

I was told that I didn't like my haircut because I was "probably pms-ing". Very unprofessional when try to communicate after giving me a horrible haircut.

I started going to Cole Stevens when transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. My stylist, Koren, is a well-versed stylist who keeps up with the latest hair trends and knows how to best care for different hair texture types. She keeps my hair shiny, healthy and damage free. Precious and Aliya are excellent stylists as well. The salon is always clean and they've put several safeguards in place to protect guests and employees during the COVID pandemic.

Diane Stevens and the entire staff at Cole Stevens salon are simply amazing! Everyone is super sweet and professional and they know how to not only style your hair, but care for your hair. Every time I leave the salon I feel rejuvenated and of course my hair is always fabulous! You can't go wrong with anyone there. They are all really good at what they do! If you have naturally curly hair, you can trust your curls to Cole Stevens.

Love this salon! Koren always does an amazing job with my hair. She even did my wedding hair and nailed the style I wanted. She's also been taking great care of my hair as I'm going through my transition to natural hair. I'm very happy to have found her as my go to stylist. The salon itself is great. It's always clean, good music, fully equipped for COVID-19, and very efficient. You don't have to worry about being in the salon the entire day just to get a wash and press. All around just a great experience.

Started going to this salon in 2018 and I will not be returning. They did not follow the COVID safety procedures they explained to me over the phone. They booked me with a stylist that couldn't do a heatless style on natural hair, which is what I booked the appointment for. I was on time for my appointment and waited half an hour to get to the shampoo bowl and an additional 2 hours later I still wasn't in the stylists' chair.

I decided to check out without finishing my hair and saw that I was billed for a $75 protein treatment that was never discussed or explained to me. After having to discuss this with them, the owner took ZERO accountability for the incident and they decided to refund me. Complete waste of my time. I went home and ended up doing my own hair. Really disappointed. If you want to waste 3+ hours of your time and get mediocre overpriced service in an overcrowded, smokey salon, this is the place for you.

Precious does an amazing job with my hair. With every encounter, my hair fells softer and healthier. She is alway professional, accommodating and patient. Koren and Aliya are amazing as well.

I was very satisfied with Cole Stevens' services for my wedding. I had a very specific goal in mind for my big day, and Koren was able to execute it. I have natural hair, so making sure that my hair looked nice for my outdoor wedding and reception was very important. The process was easy, and Koren made me feel at ease starting with the initial consultation until the final touches on the day of.

With her help, I picked a style that worked for me and remained intact for the entire day. Even the next day when I took it down, my hair looked great! She even made a special trip to my location to add some finishing touches and fit my veil. My hair feels healthy, and I'm glad that I didn't have to go through too much manipulation to my natural curls to feel beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you!

I took classes here while I was in hair school and then their after I completed my training there's NO One like Diane. class act so talented and so knowledgeable! It literally made me fall in love with color during that time I trained under another Master Colorist! I enjoyed the quality work from getting my hair done, as well as the education behind it!

I visited the Belle Point Drive location for the first time today and will definitely be returning! Great atmosphere. All employees are kind and greet with enthusiasm. Thank you Angie for sharing your knowledge while providing a great hair wash. Thank you Blake for taking the time to listen to my concerns and educate me about hair care. I was LONG overdue for a haircut and decided to do a complete chop. I looked over previous yelp reviews and decided Precious was the stylist for me. I arrived a bit early for my appointment and was immediately greeted and offered some refreshments. The employees there really do take care of their clients. Everyone I came in to contact there from the front desk, the young man offering refreshments, and the ladies who did my wash and rinse were incredibly friendly and attentive.

I spoke with Precious what my idea for my style was. She immediately sensed my nervousness since this was my first big chop and made it a point to keep me well informed of what she was doing or planning to do every step of the way. She eased my nerves and did an amazing job with my pixie cut and style. I kept it longer on the top and she gave me tips on how to style it straight and curly since we discussed earlier that I never usually wear my hair straight but am looking to start. Honestly it was so weird seeing my hair so short at first but I haven't stopped receiving compliments since I left the salon.

I loved my experience. Yes, the wait was pretty long( my appointment was at 1:30 and I didn't leave until 5pm but it was a Saturday and the place was thumpin so I expected as much) however they made it a point to check on me whenever they could and let me know my expected wait time. I definitely plan on seeing Precious again for my next cut!

Bianca was great for a first time visit! Id go to her again. My only ask is from Cole Stephens that a deep conditioner be added for the price.

Let's start with customer service. As soon as I walked in, every single employee that wasn't my stylist welcomed me, asked if I had been helped, and asked if I wanted water or needed anything. My stylist Aliyah, was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and gave fantastic advice regarding care for my hair. And I loved the finger coils. Looking forward to my next visit!

Made a somewhat last minute appointment with Bianca for flexi rod set. She warmly greeted me, asked a few questions about my hair, back to the bowl for wash and conditioning. Who doesn't love a good washing, I almost feel asleep :) Under the dryer for about 45min to an hour. My set was perfect, hair super soft and she only used a tiny bit of oil to separate my curls (which I love, because some stylist get really heavy handed). My appointment was at 3, I was out by 5! My day wasn't wasted sitting around, in and out service. This was my first time at Cole Stevens and it won't be my last!

I had a wonderful first experience with this company! I called on Sunday and was able to get an appointment right away. I have naturally course 4type hair texture and I typically take take of my own hair. I have not used heat in my hair in 2 years and I was ready to try a deep conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry but I am ver particular about people in my hair. It's been a week and my hair still looks GREAT!

The receptionist was very helpful and knowledgeable over the phone and I felt like she was able to stir me in the right direction. My stylist is Precious and she is AMAZING and very knowledgeable as well. I felt totally comfortable and I have gotten endless compliments on my new look! THANK YOU! I will return!

This is the first time I've ever gotten a trim with my natural hair in its NATURAL state! This salon is the epitome of Black excellence, professionalism, class, and grace. Miss Diane was so warm and knowledgable! I enjoyed every second of this experience. They really take the time to understand your hair needs and what you're looking for.

I received a curly cut and my curls look good in three different variations: afro, wet w/ product, and dry w/ product. I didn't get a picture of the afro unfortunately but the shape I received just worked for every style. Also, when I left and stretched it out after the shrinkage, my shape was as gorgeous as ever. I went to a party later that night, and my curls are still gorgeous. I'm shook.

I don't mind paying for quality, because that's exactly what you're going to get when you come to this amazing salon for natural gorgeous hair! I'm in love with my cut and this salon! I am officially done cutting my hair myself, and going to let the professionals do it. :
