I have been doing hair for 29 years and I love it every day. The styles and products are ever evolving and I love to teach my clients how to make them the best they can be without high maintenance on a daily basis. I have done 3 apprenticeships throughout this time and have enjoyed sharing my knowledge with my students.
Have your wedding overlooking the Wisconsin River. Our backyard deck is available to rent for $600. Officiant service is $250. Maximum of 10 people. Tina Stiffler is the officiant of the ceremony and offers a package if you do hair and makeup as well. Please call 608-963-9516 to find out more or to set up reservations.

Omg i am sooooo happy about the service that ashtyn gave me, she was fast, talk to me about the proces, listened to all my request, and was nice and sweet. I wanted a balayage/foliage done in my super dark hair but I was concerned to get too blond, so I was looking for a pop of a nice caramel that would go good with my Latina complexion. but ashtyn succed my expectation, and I am more than please of her work and I would definitely come back. The pricing is more than fare for all the hours they take to do this amazing job

I have been coming over 12 years. I trust them with my beauty care. I have received facials, pedicures, nail care, hair color and cuts. Both my teenage boys only go to Alure for their haircuts. One has had a pedicure as well. We trust Tina with our care. I have referred friends to them as well. Services: Manicures, Pedicures, Hairstyling, Haircut

I am not from the area. I called multiple times because apparently they don't have people answering the phone. I left a message. Tina called me back to say "hi, I've noticed you've called a whole bunch of times today. How can i help you?" Unprofessional and rude. If you don't want people to call your business repeatedly, you should have someone answering the phones. Will not be taking my business there

Made an appointment online for my sons haircut since no one answered and as suggested in their voicemail. They never knew we had an appointment? Used their booking system and I guess they are not notified? We were turned away and the lady working said sorry I have a client. Its not my problem and im not a boss. So there's nothing I can do. drove 20 minutes. Luckily the salon next door was very accommodating and will be going there again.

Came here for my wedding day to have hair and make-up done. Ashtyn and Tina are absolutely fabulous! We had the entire place to ourselves and were able to bring in food and beverages to enjoy and were able to enjoy some time out on the back patio overlooking the river. They made my girls and I feel so comfortable the entire time, and did an amazing job with our hair and make-up.would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

You will not find a better, more friendly salon around. I do EYERYTHING here. Spray tan, hair cuts, color, and my favorite is how they do shadow roots and most recently a very relaxing facial done by Ashtyn. Tina and Ashtyn are both amazing and beyond friendly. From the moment you walk in you will be recieving nothing but the best service and I guarantee you will leave happy and with a smile on your face. I know I do every time.

I'm not one to write a bad review, but I don't think this should happen in any business. I went in with pictures, and Tina and Ashtynn not only misinterpreted the color style that I wanted, but they also messed up the color big time, ran out of the color, and did a new color for the final patch of my hair. They panicked when they saw the terrible color they put in my hair, tried to strip it, but that turned my roots to a neon/fire orange color (I have dirty blonde hair).
They had to dye my hair three more times that night just to make me presentable enough to leave. This appointment ended up taking 4 hours. I left with dye still on my face, and some I didn't find and it ended up being a chemical burn. Though they didn't charge me for that, they did charge me when I came back to have it fixed. Before that, Ashtynn also tried canceling on me because she didn't want to mess up my hair anymore.
I had to beg, just to get some sort of improvement on my hair, but left the second time, still unhappy, and unable to get the look that I initially went in for. Now those roots are growing out and I just have to deal with it looking so unnatural. Overall I had to pay for several hours of uncomfortable service, a look that I hate, a color I can't change/fix, a chemical burn and now, very noticeable roots when I specifically said I want something I won't have to maintain.

I am not sure why this place got such bad reviews - as I have went here a few times and have not had a negative experience. I get my eyebrows done here and I usually see Theresa - and she is wonderful! She is warm, friendly and does a wonderful job. I also had the actual Owner one time Theresa was off, and she was really lovely and friendly too. It was easy to book online - and if they need to change the time to fit their schedule - I received and email and a phone call (which I never mind because I live in town anyway.).
They have always been polite and were more then happy to fulfill my requests during my appointment and I never felt rushed at all. I am not a "phone call" type of person - so I really love the convenience of being able to sign up and schedule services online - so that works for me.

TERRIBLE customer service. We have a Gift Card that we just found from a couple of years ago worth $50 or $75 but was told we can not use it. I said so I am out this money the lady responded with "I guess so. should have used it years ago". VERY RUDE It should not matter how old the gift card is the salon should honor it. I also mentioned they never answer the phone she told me to leave a message or book online. I hope NO ONE uses this salon.

Would not waste my time or money here. Purchased a promotional package from a 3rd party marketing company around Christmas time 2012. Package consisted of 4 services to be used separately. Used my first for a manicure. Could've done the same or better at home. VERY basic. Also the woman wasn't even an employee of Alure. She had come from another salon in the area. strange. Made an appointment for my second service, wasn't able to make it, called to reschedule, no answer so I left a message and was told (in a long, rude, rambling voicemail) that I would have to forfeit my appointment.
Imagine that. I have two services remaining and won't use them. This place is not "spa" like in the least. Seems like a place the local retirees get their hair done. that's it.

This place is pleasant and overlooks the river. However, I went for a pedicure and had a very disappointing experience. I paid $53 and expected to get amazing service. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she filed my callouses for less than a minute. She probably massaged my feet for 2 minutes. She barely trimmed up my nails. It was SO sad! I'm getting upset writing this. I will never go back. I had to ask her to work on my feet more, which was really awkward, and even then I left feeling as though I had been ripped off. Really really bad.
