You never know what you're going to get. The last person who said she understood thick, curly, bushy hair did not. She pushed HARD to up sell products and grabbed about $100.00 worth off the shelf and brought it to the register. They now take tips (not having to worry about that was one of the best things about the place). It's fine if you found someone there who works, if not, good luck.

She expertly cuts & styles my fine, thin hair creating a style that works for me. She knows just the right formulas to use to process my hair color, giving me the definition I desire. I have been going to RZ for eight years. It is a luxurious experience every time. The towels are hot, the hair washing area is darkened, and all of the stylists are very talented. I have never got a bad haircut their and some of my best haircuts have been there. You can book stylists by level, the level one pricing is pretty reasonable, and the level one stylists are above average. They just haven't been with the company long. I 100% recommend RZ to any woman. I don't know how well or often they cut guy hair.

I had a cut and style by Kyle today for the first time, and it was an awesome experience! He did an excellent job! Very friendly and helped educate me on how to not look silly! Much appreciated! Gorgeous, clean space as well! Highly recommend.

I cant say enough about her shes a great stylist. The front desk staff is really cool they are fun to chat with and take great care of you. Alexia Dalton has been my hairdresser for 10+ years. She is creative and very knowledgeable. Her cuts maintain their shape over a 5 week period and look fabulous. I receive compliments on my color and style. If you like a little sass she will help you with that too.

Book in advance as appointments are in high demand. There are different level stylists with variable service fee levels.

The more experienced stylists receive higher fees for services. This is a no tipping salon. That is a great feature for many folks. Free coffee, tea, bottled water also a nice extra. The environment is classy and clean. Service is outstanding. This is the best salon in Madison and one of the top 100 salons in the USA.
