Our salon's professional hair stylists, Annette, Anne, and Shelly are all specially trained in the art of cutting children's hair. The comfortable salon has plenty of room for the family to enjoy the little one's haircut.Moms and Dads are also welcome to schedule their own cut with our stylists for before or after their child's haircut - many of our clients enjoy this convenience!

Complete waste of time and money. My wife took our son (six) to get his hair cut and he very much likes to keep his hair long. We asked that the sides be taken low and as much hair left on top as possible. The stylist literally just buzzed his whole head, in record time, leaving almost no hair whatsoever. I easily could have done this myself, the whole point was to keep as much hair intact. Thanks for ruining picture day for my son, WhimsiKidz.

Our experience at Whinsikidz was very positive and we internd on returning for haircuts. They are tucked into a small area of the building that was the old Paper Perfect. The girl that cut Vince's hair was so genuine in her personal touch as a hair stylist. Wonderful with the kids and accommodating to say the least. The cut was very nicely done and the price is standard and very reasonable. My kids enjoyed themselves the entire time. A must stop, as places like this remind of of no cell phone. A beautiful planet.

Shelly did a wonderful job on my son's hair! It was his first haircut and I wasn't sure how he would do. He ended up being afraid of the trimmer, but Shelly was very patient with him. I love the cut, it's exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be back! If you book an appt online make sure you call to find out exactly where they're located, it can be a little hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. Make sure you arrive early so you have time to find parking. Highly recommended for kids haircuts!

One of the few kids salons in town -- and among them, one of the better. The stylists are good with kids, and the haircuts are fast and pretty good. Though not terribly imaginative. But, when cutting hair on pre-schoolers, the vibe is as important as the haircut itself. Kids like to come here! And they usually come out smiling. I just wish the haircuts looked a bit more stylish and less military.

Wonderful stylists with unbelievable patience. They always make sure my sons haircut is clean around the ears and neck. No other stylists were able to do that before. My daughter usually gets a small trim yet she is always styled beautifully with a bun or braid. Other children's salons we visited in the past charged extra for a style like these. I am very surprised to she a couple of negative reviews from years past.
If a haircut is not short enough and you ask a stylist to shorten and they comply, how is that a negative? I would much prefer that over a to short cut. Plus, the ladies always ask before spaying glitter. Best children's salon hands down!

First time visiting here today! My kids got great cuts, it was quick, and Shelly was very friendly and personable. She was used to working with kids. The price was great and the Yelp coupon was helpful. We will definitely be going back. I really was relieved to find a place that specializes in children's cuts. Thanks!

LOVE! I've taken my son (age 3) several different places for a haircut and this place is by far the best! We had a bad experience several haircuts ago and my son hasn't let anyone cut the hair over his ears since then. My son also insists on sitting on my lap and won't wear a cape. Anne got him to do all of these things without a fuss and without any tears!
Not to mention his hair looks great! Anne was very patient and reassured my son throughout the haircut that she wasn't going to touch his ears with the scissors. Afterwards, she showed him the clippers and how they work so he would be comfortable with her using them on future visits. Hooray for Anne and Whimzikidz! I'm a believer!

Don't go here before any important photos! Don't get me wrong, the salon was fine, but the actual haircut was a disaster. Although the stylist was friendly, and our nephew enjoyed himself at Whimsikidz his new haircut was an awful mess. His mother can not even look him. For an $18 trim, I would expect a little better performance.

We have taken my son here a few times, but he doesn't take to haircuts too well. Ends up in a screaming and yelling match, so now he just goes with Daddy. They were still really patient with him and tried really hard to give him a haircut. When it was time for my daughter's first haircut, I knew we had to go back. I'm really bad with names, so I can't remember the name of our stylist, but she did an amazing job.
She was quick yet careful. She finished up the haircut with a adorable little braid and pompom hair clip. I have a feeling my daughter will be getting her haircut here for a long time. Price was very comparable to most kid specialty hair salons.
