This place has been my go to since may and I am very pleased with my progress and I am also pleased with the people who work here and the tanning devices. The beds (stand, lay or spray) are clean and the lamps are changed regularly. It's a cozy and comfortable place to get your tan if baking in the sun isn't your thing (ever, or anymore)

I went in originally looking for a monthly plan. There was a 60.00 plan, I asked if it was a contract and was told it wasn't a contract but my credit card would be deducted monthly, the young lady helping me was not knowledgeable about the plan and said only an owner could do that one. There was a regular customer sitting on the floor behind the counter that was very friendly and said they don't do contracts and I explained that before I sign up for anything I want to make sure in case I move.
I then asked the associate if I paid the 12.00 today would i get a credit towards the plan since the owner wasn't in. She didn't know but the woman sitting said "he's a nice guy in sure he will". I go in another day, owner isn't there so I pay another 12.00. The 3rd time I go in the owner is there. I explain my visits and ask if he can put 24.00 credit towards the membership since the employees couldn't do it on their own.
He says no and goes on to say I used the service didn't i? I was very taken aback by his response. I go yes, but Its costing me 24.00 extra because your associate #1 wasn't knowledgeable #2 couldn't sign anyone up for that plan? He then proceeds to tell me that it was a contract and I didn't know what plan I wanted so why should he credit. I am standing there in just total shock that an owner would speak to a customer in this manner.
His employee was not knowledgeable, if she were there would have been no need to speak with him and this would have been prevented. He is then telling me he doesn't have the capabilities to give me the 24.00 towards a plan which anyone who's ever been in management or is a business owner knows this isn't true. This looks like a scam to get people to pay the daily so they make more money.
I'll be reporting this to the better business bureau. I've written many positive reviews and have never written a bad review ever. Beware and do not pay the daily rate. OWNER RESPONSE IS A LIE! One person at a time came in and I stepped aside for him to help them. I'm not a loud person at all and they never heard the conversation as I waited out of courtesy for them to leave.
I was also neverr told no to a membership, I left because there is no way I would do business with someone so unprofessional. Your response and use of caps speaks volumes to your professionalism

Best tanning Beds around. Friendly staff, very clean and well maintained. A little bit more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for. I've found that my tan last so much longer when I go to extreme tan. Probably because the bulbs are changed regularly. So I don't mind paying because i don't have to go as much. So it works out to be the same.

Recently moved to a surrounding town that doesn't have much for tanning / beauty. Thankful I came across Extreme Tan on Yelp. I've only been twice, but so far so good. The owner waited on me first and I got a decent price on a package. I went back the next day and the girl working was very sweet. I noticed the bulbs had been changed which = big bonus points with me. Many salons fail to change bulbs and keep up on cleanliness. This place is clean, quiet, & friendly staff.

Where to start. This is actually for the Groton location but since their location isn't on Yelp, I figured I'd spread the love to this location in Westerly. They are more than likely underneath the same ownership. That being said they accused my wife of lying about the bed that she's been using for 6 years not working properly, and then proceeded to berate her for the fact that she gave them a negative review after she brought up the equipment malfunction to the front desk.
They had a very negative attitude towards her and her problems, basically blowing her off saying whatever. If you choose to go to one of these locations, I would go there with caution, and a grain of salt knowing that things may not be as they appear.
