It was my first time here today and I will be back! Michelle was so amazing and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. She even washed it and blow dried it for me. Beautiful on the inside of the salon and great view of the water. Such a welcoming environment. Thank you again michelle! Service: Haircut

Critical: Professionalism Owner has been aloof and has a "I'm better than. you" attitude. Does not make you feel comfortable during the haircut. Not sure why he has such a high opinion of his work that he should be paid without performing a service. A rude person and a genuinely ungrateful business person. He doesn't deserve ur money. Waterhouse Salon is a professional, attractive salon with wonderful staff and views of the water. My aesthetician, Laura, is warm and gentle and gives a dynamite facial with Aveda products. My stylist, Jennie, is thoughtful, careful, and creative. Easy, free on-street parking in front of salon as well as nearby city lot for fee. Coffee and tea complimentary. I have been a client at Waterhouse Salon for over 2 years now, and absolutely love it there! The salon is clean, nicely decorated, smells great, and has a calming effect just being there. I don't believe I could find a better hair stylist or esthetician than Gianna and Laura! I always get so many compliments on my hair color & style. Laura gives the most relaxing & rejuvenating facials & also does an amazing job waxing my eyebrows.

They both listen to my thoughts & ideas, and always make me feel like a valued client! The owner, Rick, is very pleasant & engaging! I would highly recommend Waterhouse Salon!

Waterhouse is a wonderful salon located in downtown NewLondon. Professional talented staff, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful salon from the moment you walk in the door with spacious high ceilings, views of the Sound and cleanliness throughout. During COVID they score 100 for preparation and practices. Staff is friendly and being an Aveda salon the products are of the highest quality. Both Jennie and Giana have done my hair and I have never been happier as both are extremely skilled in their profession and genuinely care about the results. Pricing is very reasonable for such a high quality salon. Rick, the owner is always onsite and so gracious to all who walk through the door.

Fantastic place. I got a manicure and it made my hands look terrific after spending a week cleaning out an old house. Lovely setting, very relaxing and a nice price. Would definitely go back!

I cannot say enough about my downtown gals Laura Light and Gianna. I have been a client throughout my 19 years in New London. The salon is a true reflection of what an Aveda concept spa strives to be. The atmosphere is relaxed and amicable. It's important to stay updated on and take advantage of the specials. Keep an eye out for their works of charity too!

I travel 45 minutes to work, and I would certainly travel 45 minutes for a visit. Planning a half day's worth of services is easy and I highly recommend it! If you can, take advantage of Laura's make-up consultation!

Excellent salon with relaxing atmosphere and great view! Prices are reasonable and everyone is kind and accommodating. I am so glad my awesome stylist (Giana) moved here from a corporate-run salon!

Where do I begin? I moved to Connecticut two years ago and have been looking for place to call "my style home" ever since. I have found it at Waterhouse Salon. Tiffany, my hair stylist, is incredible and the only person who I now will EVER let touch my pixie cut. She's innovative, edgy, and always works hand and hand with me to create the best look.

I receive compliments on both my haircut and color every where I go. Laura is my go to for facials and does an absolutely incredible job. I always feel such a calm vibe just being around her. Today she did my brows for the first time and now I will never go anywhere else. Do your hair, body, and mind a favor and go see Tiffany and Laura at Waterhouse Salon. You will not regret it.

I've been going to Waterhouse Salon for over twenty years. I have always had a perfect result with my hair and find the environment inviting and comfortable. I am VERY PARTICULAR about my hair, and even drove to appointments at Waterhouse during the 2 years I lived in Boston and 5 years I lived in Philadelphia. I will never go anywhere else, as long as I am in driving distance! The spa services are just as great as their hair care. Thank you, Waterhouse Salon!

This is a great Salon. They provide all of the services of an upscale Salon but without the snottiness or the sky high prices. The staff is down to earth, warm, cordial & friendly. They work with you to ensure your satisfaction. Given them a try and you will not be disappointed. Unless off-course you like being treated like dirt, then skip this place and stick to one of those snotty places.
