Gabe is the absolute BEST stylist I have ever had! He was so incredibly personable and conversation flowed so naturally. Not to mention, of course, how beautiful my hair looks. The color is perfect, and the blowout makes it look so shiny. I have been looking for a regular stylist in Pittsburgh, and I have certainly now found him!

I cannot recommend Dean of Shadyside enough! I went in feeling awful about how I looked and left wanting to just stare in the mirror. Dean took the time to really get to know who I was in order to make the best possible recommendation. His expertise allowed him to give me the cut and color to make me feel amazing. I went in in tears because of the state of my hair and left in happy tears at how gorgeous it looks.

My stylist (Kiera),i s great! She is very professional, personable, listens to you about your concerns, and suggests things that are going the be great for you- and she gets to know you in the process. Combining that, which is a skill all its own, with her artistic eye to know what styles would look great on each person and her skill of cutting, styling---is what makes her a great hair artist! --AND -naturally, she suggest different, new things -so you do not get stuck in a rut and become bored-both her and you! -And the main point I perceive is that she likes what she is doing, has fun & passion with art and that = fun & passion with the art of hair!

Love the service I received here! I heard about this salon through Groupon and purchased the most basic package with an established stylist, Gabriel. Gabriel was really attentive and understanding with what I liked and he had a natural intuition to what looked good when cutting my hair. He gave my hair a great shape and great volume with my bob cut. Would highly recommend!
