Wax Strip II

Don't come here if you want your eyebrows to look good. The technician that waxed my eyebrows did not ask me what I would like done to my eyebrows, she just started waxing without any indication. She waxed my eyebrows way too thin. She also didn't wear gloves.

I get my eyebrows waxed here every couple of weeks. I just have them clean up the stray hairs and go with the natural shape. The ladies always do a great job.

Had my brows done. The staff was friendly, place was clean. The young lady that did my brows was very professional, personable just sweet. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

I would highly recommend wax strip for all your waxing needs! They're super gentle and do amazing work! I can't remember the name of the girl that did my eyebrows but she was fantastic! She started a conversation and we talked most of the time she was working on my eyebrows, so friendly and respectful!

Very great job and best price around Murfreesboro for quality service. Got a Brazilian and had no issues Lyndsy was great!

I hate to even write this review. I've been going to the wax strip for many years. They were the first place I'd ever gone to and I fell in love with the employees. But it has really changed. A lot of the great people I loved working with me are gone and just recently I was told they were done to bare bones staff and it shows. Murfreesboro has been growing immensely and I understand, but the wait is usually about an hour or more and they closed the other location on top of that.

It's been exhausting to try to go. If they had gone back to scheduling appointments that would be great, but it's just overwhelming now. That and every time I go, the floors are sticky in the room and sometimes you get in a room and have to wait a while because they're so busy. And the staff appears overwhelmed and sometimes (some of them) are in a bad mood and act like they don't even want you there.

It's just really unfortunate. They don't even have the points system anymore and their prices are much more expensive than competition in town who offer the same services. Unfortunately, I'm officially breaking up with the Wax Strip and going elsewhere.

My first visit was so amazing, the lady was very nice and did so good and knew i preferred them thicker, my time today the lady was very sweet but she did me so dirty, they aren't even there sooo thin and there's still scragglys that she couldn't even bother to get. My first visit and I was really impressed. The ladies out front were very nice and helpful. There was a wait, but it is a walkin so that should be expected. Andrea did my waxing and she is amazing, made me feel very comfortable right away. I came in hoping I would be able to get thru it. LOL when I left I purchased two of the packages. Very professional and knowledgeable in how to take care of their clients.

I wish I could give a 10 star. My first experience with waxing and Andrea was amazing. Very professional and I was very satisfied with services. I ended up buying two packages for future visits. The ladies out front were very nice and helpful in picking waxing packages.

Ask for Audrey! She is amazing. She did a fantastic job waxing my eyebrows to my specific requests, my armpits, then my legs from the knee down. I enjoyed her conversation as much as I was pleased with her work. 10/10

Horrible Experience. I don't even live in Murfreesboro but when I come to visit my sister this is where I usually go. Yesterday I came twice the first time the little orange receptionist with the catapillar eyebrows said it would be "awhile" for a simple brow wax, so I left and came back at which time she proceeds to tell me "we close in 7 minutes".

Very rude and dry and clearly doesn't care about the loss of business. So when I do come to visit I will be taking my business elsewhere! Update: I just received a DM from said receptionist telling me how rude my review was smh. boy this experience just keeps getting worse and worse. I mean seriously how unprofessional is that?!?

Danielle has been doing my eyebrows for almost a decade, she is awesome! The rest of the staff at both locations are very friendly and helpful.

This place has gone to Hell in a hand basket since Brittney and Torri left.the wait is horrible; they go break too much, they messed up one of my eyebrows. I will never go back!

This was the worst eyebrow wax. They did not do a good job. The tech reeked of cigarettes. The smell of cigarettes was very strong. The eyebrow wax was definitely not worth $12.

I was really skeptical when I was reading reviews. My experience was great though. I didn't wait long. Amanda asked me how I liked my brows. she did a great job cleaning them up and reshaping them. We moved onto the Brazilian and she did a great job with that too. She waxed is small, short strips so not as painful. She kept me talking and distracted me. I will be back. I would highly recommend asking for Amanda she's really experienced and provides a great experience! She's off Tuesdays though;

This was my first visit here and I will definitely be returning. It was clean and fast and my esthetician Torrie was nice and had me feeling like a new woman! My eye brows look amazing and my skin looked amazing after the wax no redness or swelling.

I'm a regular here and everyone is amazing. I've been seeing Amanda and she is wonderful! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. The wait is never too bad as long as you time it correctly. With a little patience and understanding you can always count on a professional experience with exceptional care and customer service.

Friendly. Good prices. The wait time can get a little lengthy.

I've been to the wax strip multiple times. It's always been ok. Not stellar but economy waxing however this time. horrible. My eyebrow wax completely botch. She waxed way too high and low and pulled off tons of skin. It's so painful and when I said omg it's so red she said "it's ok?!" That's it. No apology, no cream to help. It's terrible.

I couldn't see how much damage was done until I got to my car. I'm going out of town in 2 days. Think my skin will grow back by then?! I'll never be back. I'm embarrassed by my face and in pain. Total fail.

The staff is friendly, the waxing is good, but the waiting is horrible. They are walk-in, only, are massively understaffed, and the waiting area is tiny. Every time I have been here, there is always a decent wait. Today I got there a few minutes after they opened, and had four people in line, in front of me. Not horrible, especially for a Saturday, but as soon as they open? Also, there was some mix up and people that came in after me, were put in line in front of me. Unprofessional, and just not cool.

I had waited for over a half hour, and due to the people that were put ahead of me (even though they arrived after me), it would have been at least another half hour. I walked out, and will not go back.

I only come here when my best friend is all booked up. This is a quick and go wax facility. I recommend the eye brow wax if you come. The aestheticians are very quick, it's a hit or miss type thing with aestheticians. Some gets it and understand how I like my brows shape and some don't get it. For some staffs I usually have to give specific details on what I want done. Either that then it's okay. The staffs here are very friendly and always smiling. The aestheticians are okay. *Tip: 10% off with military ID or student discount.

Nicefolks, but one of the poorer wax jobs I've ever had, and they move right on to the next client so you don't have a chance to get them to address issues. Way too much wax left on my legs and way too many spots missed. Of course, there are enough folks working there and enough turnover that the next experience may be fine, but for now I have to head home and finish waxing myself.

No tip this time! UPDATE: And this business doesn't care enough to follow up when they get a negative review, I see (as of 7/14/17). I'm taking my business back to the GOOD location on S. Rutherford.

I have been to the wax strip twice. First time for eyebrows and the second for eyebrows and brazilian. I was very happy with my experience both times. I have visited the European Wax center and I believe they are over priced and the girl there made my eye brows too thin. I also didn't see or feel the difference in the wax that was used. I think The Wax Strip gets the job done better in all ways (price, cleanliness, professionalism, and time).

Each time the girl who waxed me was professional, kind and made polite conversation. I will continue to visit The Wax Strip. I have heard nothing but good things about the place even before I went there.

Very clean and quick and non judgemental. Lots of my friends get our eyebrows done here. Very cheap and quick.

The customer service was excellent. The people were all nice and easy to talk to but the waxing job itself was awful. The wax that was used doesn't do a good job. It took a long time to wax an area that should of been done within 20 minutes. The European Wax Center does a much better job! The hardening wax that the use is much more effective it also acts as a moisturizer.

I was much more impressed when I went to the European Wax Center. The facility is cleaner and the people are extremely nice. I had Chelsea at the EWC, she was amazing. She was very easy to talk to and got the job done quickly but most importantly she did it right. The wax strip is decent but I wouldn't go there again.

I was in and out for an eyebrow wax in less than 10 minutes. The girl who did my brows was friendly and talked to me about the city, being that I just moved here and am trying to learn the area. I think I paid about $10 for a wax. Not bad at all and they looked great afterwards! I'll be back soon.

By far the best waxing experience I have ever had. I waiting for less than five minutes to be taken back. The girl ( Jessica maybe? I couldn't really see her name because she was wearing a smock or sweater blonde and black hair.) she was very nice. Listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that! She talked to me about my wedding and hers and before I knew it I was done and it didn't hurt.

I guess by talking to her the whole time and keeping my eyes closed distracted me from the pulling of the strips. She was great and you cant beat the price either. They have package deals like buy 5 get one free but I did not take her up on the offer. I do believe I have found my waxing place! SaaaaWeeeeet! FYI- They do ALL waxing, literally from head to toe!
