Great little salon with botanically-based products. Found an ad in Whole Life magazine and after years of trying to find natural color for gray coverage that works, here it is! And, the owner can ship to you as well! Simple place but, honestly, after trying everything, I've found a simple, healthier solution for grays that improves my hair texture while achieving beautiful color.

If you want to grow your hair long, switch to Creative Airs Salon! I tried for years to grow out my hair. Then I became allergic to traditional chemical hair color and wanted to find something gentler that wouldn't make me sick. I found Creative Airs and now my hair is shiny, healthy and down to my waist. I get compliments every day and carry Lee's business cards in my wallet to give out to people.

Excellent! I found Creative Airs about 10 years ago when I was looking for a salon that used organic, natural, and holistic hair and coloring products. While it took a while to find Creative Airs, it was worth the effort. Lee's always done a fabulous job with my color. When money was tight for me, my brother paid for my haircuts for a while, as long as I went to his hairstylist.

While she has a great reputation as a superb colorist, I stuck with Lee for color. Every time I went to my brother's stylist, she asked, who does your color, they do a great job! The obvious toxicity of all other salons I've found is choking, and not good for our hair, scalp. I highly recommend Creative Airs for cut and/or color (that's all I have had done there).

I have been coming here for about 3 years or so. Lee the owner is very personable and sweet. Lee genuinely cares about what she is doing and who she caters to. Custom mixes hair color that is safer and non-toxic. I used to get headaches using conventional color from the counter of a box. The price is not cheap but well worth it. I love this lady. Lee is into natural, environmental beauty needs. Very knowledgable about holistics information as well.

As a vegan it is really hard to find quality salon service that offers cruelty free product, so I was really happy to discover Creative Airs. The owner Lee is so nice and does beautiful work with her own creation of salon quality all natural cruelty free products. I got my hair highlighted twice there now and I have been really satisfied with the result, not to mention that there was absolutely no icky smell and itchy scalp that's normally associated with your hair colored. Lee's cousin Olga does all natural manicure/pedicure there, so it's a one-stop shopping.

The nail polish she uses is high end but does contain pearl, so if you're a hard-core vegan bring your own polish. Olga is well worth it because her prices are so affordable, and she takes so much time with you.

Being someone who cares about the environment, I'm always finding ways to be a more eco-friendly person. This hair salon is right down the street from me and I've been meaning to try it for ages. Well, today I did and I'm not regretting it one bit! Let me say that the last time I went to a conventional hair salon and had my hair colored I almost fainted after 5 minutes.

I knew I had to find some kind of non-toxic alternative (this IS L.A. - can't let anyone see that pesky gray hair!). The woman who runs Creative Airs uses all natural, non-toxic hair color that looks great and doesn't make you feel high while it's on your head. She took her time cutting and styling my hair as well, and I left with a totally new look that I actually love! It's a very homey, family feeling salon. It's not cheap and it's not quick, but it is worth it.
