I got my trial done for my upcoming wedding. Jeanne was very detailed and got the look exactly how I wanted! She even gave me my something blue for my upcoming wedding. We spent time reviewing different makeup and what I would want for my wedding. Highly recommended! Looking forward to getting my hair and makeup done on my wedding day!

My cousin who was getting married at the Biltmore booked Jeanne for styling services before the wedding. Jeanne was a joy to be around and did a wonderful job with our hair. Jeanne and Linda were absolutely wonderful! We booked them for wedding day hair and makeup for myself and three of my bridesmaids and they were more than accommodating to come to us at the Biltmore, they were so sweet and kind and got us all ready to go right as the photographer arrived, their timing was perfect. Not to mention, they did beautiful work, we all felt like princesses.

I showed Jeanne a picture of how I wanted my hair and she couldn't have done it better. I showed Linda how I wanted my makeup and she matched it perfectly. Could not recommend these ladies enough, they were a joy to have with us and made our celebration even more special. Thank you both so much, it was an unforgettable experience

Jeanne's hair and makeup studio was amazing! I came into Asheville as a wedding guest on Thursday 11/28 and decided last minute to have my hair and makeup done for the wedding I was attending on 11/30 she was able to have my friend and I taken care of last minute during one of the busiest wedding weekends of the year. Tabitha and Jeanne were very sweet and their work was beautiful. My friend and I received compliments all night on our hair and makeup. Highly recommend for any event in the area.

Update: Yeah I clearly said I'm not the bride. I don't have to be the bride because I was there for every bit of it. This isn't a character assassination. It's a poorly run business. The short version is: the stylist, Amanda, failed to show up on the day of the wedding and the owner, Jeanne, instead of reacting professionally the owner treated the bride poorly and never really took ownership of her actions or now former employee.

A good friend engaged Jeanne's salon to perform hair services for her and her bridal party on the day of her wedding. My friend made clear the location of the wedding and paid an additional "travel fee" of $150. The week prior to her wedding she began receiving concerning messages from Amanda who was supposed to perform the services. Amanda said that she did not want to do the wedding since it was too far and even asked the bride for additional money.

The bride contacted the owner Jeanne who suggested that she have her girls "remember her" and suggested that she encourage other people at the wedding to pay for additional services insinuating that it was the bride's job to make it worth Amanda's time. The bride told Jeanne that she was deeply concerned that Amanda would not show up. Jeanne assured her that she had never had a stylist not show up (not true if you read her other reviews). ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING Amanda not only didn't show up but didn't have the basic human decency to notify the bride.

The bride then called Jeanne who broke down as if it were her wedding being ruined. Jeanne then suggested that the bride make the 4 hour round trip to the salon instead of making arrangements for someone to come to the venue that had been previously agreed upon. Thankfully the bride had an amazing (and professional) friend who was able to swoop in and save the day. Jeanne has since been borderline harassing the bride for no apparent reason begging her to not leave a bad review. BRIDES DO NOT USE THIS SALON. And Jeanne, I will not take this review down so please don't embarrass yourself by asking.

I was really looking for a hair and makeup stylist that would keep me looking natural for our wedding, and Jeanne did an amazing job! She was very responsive from the start and checked in with me leading up to the wedding to make sure that everything was good to go. On wedding day, she and her team were amazing and made us all look beautiful! The service and quality of style was perfect and we all finished on time.

I even changed the way I wanted my hair to look after looking in the mirror and Jeanne was able to quickly adjust to make it look just like I envisioned. Would highly recommend her!

I appreciated the attention to detail and helping me create a beautiful look for myself and my mother and mother-in-law. There are several blunders that happened working with Jeanne's Hair and Makeup Studio. First was losing 2 stylists leading up to my wedding date. The first stylist assigned to my small party ghosted me about 2 months before. After explaining to Jeanne that I had not heard from my stylist to do a hair trial, she assigned me a new stylist.

The second stylist also ghosted me and 2 weeks before my wedding informed me that she cannot commit to my date due to her own circumstances. I called Jeanne again and she assigned me a 3rd stylist. Fortunately she did not cancel or ghost me. A week before my wedding Jeanne called to collect payment and increased our agreed upon contract pricing. Stating that it would be higher since her price increased in 2021 and I was being given a favor to not be charged the new 2021 pricing, and only a smaller increase.

I ended up paying the smaller increased rate. The day of my wedding and constant texts with my stylists, I stressed the importance of timing. Our wedding venue was extremely strict on our start time and when we needed to be off the property for the next wedding. I felt my stylists brushed this off and I was 20 minutes late to my wedding. This caused a ripple effect in rushing my first look with my father, missing photos with the mother of the groom and the groom. Skipping all the pre-wedding photos that were in my shot list with the photographer, rushing the ceremony, and missing photos with our family following the ceremony.

It was a tough pill to swallow and added a lot of extra stress on me as the bride. It also caused a lot of stress for my husband since he didnt know what had happened to me. I am glad that my mom, mother in law, and myself enjoyed their hair and makeup experience. I hope there is improvement to ensure the timing, contract commitment, and communication is better in the future.

Every time Jeanne arrives at The Ridge wedding venue I know we are going to have an excellent day! She is very kind and professional- always on time. I came today for my hair and makeup trial for my wedding. I brought my hair extensions and veil so we could see the final look. Jeanne was wonderful and even had a beautiful piece for my hair that matches my veil perfect! She was open to make changes if I didn't like something, but everything was perfect! Can't wait for my wedding day!

A wonderful woman I must say. She knows what she's doing and is in love with her work. Stories of brides and their hair as she did mine with care and a wonderful job she did with just a simple cut. She has a wide range of products for brides as she does their hair either at her home or on site. I could not be happier with how sweet she is. Tons of awards from Wedding Wire and The Knot for her work since as far as 2016 to this year. Could not recommend more!

Jeanne did a wonderful job with my wedding hair and makeup, as well as my mom's and matron of honor's. Jeanne is friendly, fun to work with, responsive, and reliable. She worked with a hair piece I had purchased, and the result was gorgeous! She uses airbrush products, has a variety of false lash options (standard, baby, etc.). I was very comfortable communicating and working with Jeanne throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Jeanne and her team to any bride looking for a one-stop-shop hair and makeup artist!
