Laurel has been a part of Yellow Strawberry since 1994, she is passionate about hair cutting. She has been to Rome and London for education in color and haircuts. She also continue education at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami. Laurel is an expert at creating modern hairstyles and loves creative textured razor haircuts.

Education is the Foundation of Our Success at Yellow Strawberry. Stylists choose Yellow Strawberry's Advanced Training Academy to further their education before advancing as a full time stylist. Our Associate Stylists are continuously training for everything it takes to become an innovative, knowledgeable and creative stylist.

I have gotten my hair done by Allison for almost 8/9 months now and it comes out perfect every time, she's an amazing artist. The staff is friendly and the service is great! I also have gotten my eyebrows waxed and I've never looked or felt better. Absolutely recommend and ask for Allison! Services: Balayage, Waxing, Hairstyling, Haircut, Hair coloring

Melanie was my sons hair stylist. It is, in my opinion, the best haircut he's had in a long long time! He is graduating next weekend and my husband was nervous because I took our son somewhere different all because it's closer. He agrees, it looks SO good! Melanie was so sweet and friendly! She was confident in her work and we will be returning customers of hers.

After a long haul of bad stylists I caved and came back to Yellow Strawberry and I'm so grateful I did. Madison took care of me and my daughter. We both are very pleased with the out come! I was super nervous to go to a new hair stylist after a bad experience at another salon. Allison was awesome! She answered all my questions, educated me on her opinion for the process & was super patient with my very thin/tangly hair. More importantly, my hair turned out awesome. I love my hair again! I have been a client of Yellow Strawberry for about 15+ years and I am continually amazed at the kindness of all of the staff. Each person goes out of there way to be helpful and strive to make your experience a positive one. Candy has been my Stylist for so long that she feels more like family than just my Stylist. I have never had a single bad experience and every assistant she has had has been excellent.
I truly believe you have a team atmosphere and everyone helps everyone else without making you feel it's an inconvenience. Rosa is outstanding in every way. I've never had a stylist that I've trusted as much as I trust her, and I'm extremely protective of my hair. I've been seeing her since she was at the Fruitville location, but I wish I found her sooner! This visit was my first time seeing her again since Covid and she was so welcoming. Not only is she a phenomenal stylist, but she always makes me feel comfortable whenever I'm in her chair.
She understand curly hair and the extra work it takes, and never makes me feel bad for it. She's also a kind, caring person with a hilarious sense of humor. I've never walked out of the salon without feeling confident after getting my hair done by her. I cannot express my appreciation enough. If you're considering coming her, book with Rosa! Mariam helped me out of a tricky situation - I had just gotten a haircut at different place that really bummed me out. She completely fixed it and talked me through the steps she was taking while giving me tips on how to take care of it in the future. When I'm back in the area I will definitely come in to see Mariam again and will be recommending her to anyone looking for a great cut and style.

Finally. A competent stylist that doesn't make me sit in the salon for hours. Jennifer gets right down to business. What used to take 3 hours now takes just over an hour and a half. More importantly I am super happy with the results. Color is great and she nailed my cut the first time. If you want someone that is going to play with your hair, give a scalp massage and make your cut, color and blow dry a half day social affair, Jennifer is not for you.
If you want someone that listens to what you want asking questions, then gets right down to business, moving quickly to get you on with your day with a beautiful new do. you will be happy with her. (Although a scalp massage with the wash would be a treat that I would enjoy) Thank you for giving me back a couple hours of my time. I am staying with Jennifer

Bree is AMAZING! She took her time to really understand what I wanted, and it paid off- I left with exactly the color I wanted. Bree had amazing attention to detail and did everything she could to ensure I had a great experience. My overall experience at the salon was excellent. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. The salon was clean. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
