The moment Lorry Eible saw the cute little Cape Cod-style house on Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL in 1972, she knew her dream store, Foxy Lady, would become a reality. Although we started as a beachwear store that catered to the tourists and locals of Siesta Key, we quickly branched out to become something more unique. At the time, no one knew that there was a market for high fashion in Siesta Key - no one except Lorry, that is.As Lorry continued bringing fashions to Sarasota from designers ranging from New York to Los Angeles and around the globe, word spread and so did the need for a larger location, which is the current Foxy Lady Siesta Key store that is now run and partnered by Lori Ann Steiner, who has been a part of the Foxy Lady family for many, many years.

I struggled to find a dress for my sister's wedding (I always need the smallest size and nothing ever fits me properly) and decided to come here since I found some great dresses here in the past. And I found not one, but two great dresses! Alina was very helpful. I am so happy that I decided to stop by :)

Owner was rude to us and once they figured out my client had money she tried to suck up to her and make her buy stuff she didn't look good in since she is only 80 pounds then handed us off to another sales person even though my client spent over $1,000.00.their prices were very expensive we will never go back.

I'm writing this review not because of the quality of the dress. This review is based on how shady of a business this place is running. They're communication on real costs associated with their products are non existent and then they LIE, saying that they have communicated everything (This was the manager of the location by the way). Typical salesy location.
To be clear, I did not ask for any type of refund, I just called to let them know that I would be writing this wonderful review today. If you buy here (I really hope you don't, and would recommend you take your business elsewhere LESS SHADY), please make sure you ask EVERYTHING, about ALL COSTS associated with the purchase and services to make sure that you have clear expectations, because they certainly will not provide.

One of the worst experience i had. I purchased dresses and when i tried them again at the hotel I realized that one of them didn't fit well. I called the store to let them know i needed to return one of the dresses and they said if I go right away they will refund my money. Unfortunately they would be closed by the time i would have gone there so i went back to the store the next day and asked for a refund since store credit will not work for me since i live in NY and i was just visiting Sarasota.
They refused to refund only store credit or exchange. Their customer service is very poorly and extremely rude they only care about making sales. In addition I have to note the poor quality of their stuff however very pricy. I will definitely NOT recommend this store because they do not care about their clientele only interested in making sales. I give this establish "0" star rating.

I purchased an expensive designer handbag from Foxy Lady for my wedding. The bag was poor quality. The stones on the bag discoloured and some fell off. I brought the bag back to the store and asked for a store credit because the bag was not a quality bag considering the amount of money I paid. I have bought other bags from this designer but this was a very poor quality one.
I was told that a store credit would not be issued but they would send the bag out to have it repaired. When I picked up the bag, the missing beads were replaced but the discoloured stones were not. Again, I request a store credit because of the poor workmanship of this bag. The store would not issue a store credit. It was not like I wanted my money back, just want them to return this handbag to the designer company and issue me a credit.

All they are interested in making a sale but will not acknowledge that they sold a poor quality item and it is their responsibility to send it back to the manufacture and get results. I absolutely loved this place! I walked in to find a "mother of the groom" dress and what I found was beyond my expectations! Alina, the salesperson treated me like a Queen. She helped me choose, try on and then brought me several dresses. She was very honest and we had lots of laughs! After helping me choose the perfect dress, she found shoes, very affordable earrings, necklace, bracelet and even a shawl to match.
On top of all of that, there was a very kind woman named Sharon, the seamstress, who was there to hem, lift and alter! I don't have time to shop at home and it was the perfect ending to my spring break. In just two hours, I am ready for my son's summer wedding and it is all thanks to these wonderful ladies and the fantastic selection and service at this store! Thank you Foxy Lady!
On top of all of that, there was a very kind woman named Sharon, the seamstress, who was there to hem, lift and alter! I don't have time to shop at home and it was the perfect ending to my spring break. Great assortment to choose from and they now allow in store shopping. Sales staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I bought a beautiful Nicole Miller cobalt blue dress there for my daughters bat mitzvah a few years ago and received lots of compliments on the dress. The prices are higher on some items, competitive for most items and lower on sale items. It's worth a visit.
