Nolas Salon & Day Spa

I had such a great experience today! Lisa is amazing! I came in for a haircut. After my hair was damaged by another salon unfortunately. My hair was very long.it took me years to grow it out to the length I love! Unfortunately it was damaged so bad I had to cut 5 inches of my hair off. Lisa made me feel so comfortable. She was very professional she gave me great advice & I love love my short hair more!. I most definitely have my self confidence back! Thanks again I will be back!

She was huffing and puffing. And extremely irritated. She was so upset she only had an hour and 45 to work with. I'm sorry but if you can't do hair just say so. I have not cried this much over my hair since I was in high school. First photo is how my hair looked going into the appointment. Second and third are photos I showed the stylist of what I wanted. Last photo is what I got. I told the receptionist I wanted to schedule a full foil with a shadow root. She insisted what I wanted was a balayage and I told her in the past that had not been what I want.

So she said she'd schedule it as a balayage to give me the most time with the hair stylist, but to show her pics of what I wanted once I arrived. Again when I spoke to the stylist, I said I wanted highlights with a shadow root and showed her the second and third pictures. She said that would be balayage so I thought I would be getting the same results just a different name for the style.

My intention of the appointment was to be blonde again. I was tired of the dark color of the back of my hair. Three hours and a head full of foil later, I was thinking she was lifting my color and just adding a little bit of brown to blend. Instead I left with less blonde hair than I went in with. And on top of it all, I was charged 2x more than i have EVER paid for my hair.

My daughter had a haircut here recently. Cut was decent, but she was charged full adult price for a dry cut that took less than ten minutes. Since the full salon experience (including wash) is her favorite part, we'll keep looking for another salon. Service: Haircut

I have had the same hair stylist for the past 25 years so spending the summer in Ohio and post covid shut down I was scared to get my hair done by a new stylist. I also have thick and wavy hair. Nikki did a great job. Made me feel very comfortable and I'm very happy with the cut. I also felt comfortable with the salons safety precautions.

I went to Nina for my hair color. She was very nice and did an AMAZING job on my hair! She listened to what I thought I wanted and used her expertise to do an outstanding job. The staff followed all socal distancing requirements - requiring masks & taking my temperate prior to me entering the building. The staff was very friendly and made me feel great! You got a little bonus gift with samples in it for being a new customer. I'll definitely be going back to NOLAS!

Had my first ever facial with Michelle and it was superb. She asked me questions about my skin concerns, advised me on products to stay away from. The music was very calming and I was immediately relaxed. I then went to Nikki for a cut and style and had a blast laughing and enjoying myself.

Nolas is absolutely wonderful! Had a great experience going here. The salon was very lovely, the stylists were all very friendly, and my stylist Alex did wonders for my dry and unhealthy hair. Will defiantly be coming back!

I was in desperate need of a pedicure, and I was excited to try Nolas Salon. I'd visited there for a hair cut a few years ago and thought it would be a good idea to try it for something else. I was wrong. The technician was nice enough, but didn't seem very professional. The water was too hot for my feet and when I told her, she said I'd get used to it.

I have very sensitive feet and I didn't "get used to it." She was rough when she was working on my feet and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The straw that broke the camel's back, though, was that the polish was not done well. She didn't go all the way up to the tip of the nail. I won't go back.

Wonderful people at this beautiful salon. I can't say enough about the talented artists who work here. Management (Kelly and Denise) really lets you know they appreciate your business by making you feel comfortable no matter what the service, and offering special customer appreciation discounts and events frequently. The atmosphere here is so cute and changes with every season, there is a lot of attention to detail in the way the salon looks and this definitely trickles down to what they do, it shows in their work. I love Nolas!

Third apt with Nafisa. Each time she has been late. Today she wasn't even at the salon when I arrived for my 10 apt. They clearly do not value their customers time.

I come here to get my eyebrows done with Nephisa and she is truly an artist! I have been seeing her for 15 years and even moving to DC six years ago, I will not let anyone else touch my brows. I am flying home the week before my wedding just for her. I would recommend Nola's and Nephisa to anyone and everyone! She is so genuine and genuinely cares about her clients and takes time to get to know them. Definitely one of my favorite parts of coming back home to Akron! Book her ASAP!

I've never been happier with my hair! Kathy did a fantastic job with my color. She provided guidance on what color would look good with my skin tone, etc. It turned out beautifully. Really pleased with the results! I found my life-long salon!

I needed a brow waxing while i was back home in Ohio and I was referred here by a friend who was getting a wax. I called around 2:52pm and was lucky enough to get a 3:30pm appointment. Prior to my appointment i checked yelp and Nola's has great reviews! The receptionist on the phone was very polite and helpful! She was accommodating and booked me an appointment with ease.

The salon is so beautiful and clean and everyone is friendly. It's in a great location. Nafisa was so quick and proficient. I love my brows. She made sure I had the exact look I wanted. They were $22, which isn't too bad for a nicer salon! If you're in Ohio please book your brow appointment here!

I love Nolas! The staff is always courteous and friendly, the services are great, and the salon is nice. The owner always makes a point to walk around and greet the customers, which is really sweet. Rhyan is my hairstylist; I always tell her she has my full confidence because she does such a great job every time. She is talented. Nafiseh is also the BEST brow artist in town I've recommended several people to Nolas for hair and brows and they're all regular customers now.

I was referred to this Salon by a friend. The front desk suggested a particular stylist. Me hair was severely damaged --causing at least 4 inches to come off and breakage throughout. The owner offered to fix my hair; now damaged beyond repair. Overpriced for the area and level of competence.

Nolas Salon is a beautiful day spa in Fairlawn, right across the street from Summit Mall. Twice a year I treat myself to their spa pedicure. It's worth every penny. The staff is professional and the atmosphere is relaxing.

This was the best experience I've ever had at a salon. I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in that afternoon. Sarah cut my hair and she was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and came up with the perfect style for me and showed me how to style it at home. I'm very picky with who I let cut my hair and I will definitely return.

They got me in on short notice, and took great care of me. The receptionist was great and attentive, and the stylists were as well. I appreciate the time spent with me, and not off doing other things while I was processing. I will most likely be back, and recommend.

Clean salon, inviting, big yet cozy at the same time. There is plenty of seating and it's comfortable! Coffee, water and snacks were out as well. I only was there for an eyebrow wax and they did a great job. Booked another! I also booked mani's for myself and bridesmaids and the owner was so kind at booking and explained everything to me. Nice things is, here we will have our own little area to hang out and we can bring our own champagne/wine/food!

From the moment you walk in the door, the staff are attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is calming, clean, and welcoming. The Nola Pedicure was restful and calming. This is a "no attitude" salon and spa with great attention to the customer. I appreciated the cleanliness, privacy, new magazines, and fresh coffee. First time visitor. I will be back.
