My mom and I have been Marissa's clients for over 15 years now. I've followed her to different locations, because I'm definitely happy with the way that she cuts and colors our hair. She is always up to date on the new hair styles and trends of the industry. Her personality is bubbly and fun to be around.

Marissa works her fabulous magic when she colors and cuts your hair. I've been Marissa's client for over 10 years now, and would follow her anywhere. I first started going to Marissa when she was located in Sacramento, and kept her as my stylist when she relocated to Roseville. I don't trust anyone else to touch my hair. Honestly. Marissa listens to how you'd like your hair to look (color and/or cut) and offers her professional opinion, if asked.
Please ask. You may save yourself a lot of grief.lol. I've had some spur-of-the-moment hair color requests that I wanted Marissa to do. I'm grateful that she offered other options/choices for my hair. Thank you, Marissa. Remember, hair color frames your face, and if it's the wrong color next to your skin (even though you may LOVE it), it can affect the color of clothing you normally wear and your make-up, too.
I learned the hard way, over 10 years, ago when a previous stylist highlighted my hair so heavily (per my request), that it looked gray instead of blonde. And my wedding was the next day. I then realized how important it is for a stylist to offer not only their professional opinion, but other color and style choices that complement you. I only wished that my previous stylist had given me her professional opinion.
And last, but certainly not least, Marissa is a genuinely kind person. She makes every client feel welcomed. I just feel super comfortable sitting in her salon chair for a couple of hours, every eight weeks, as she makes my hair look beautiful.every single time.

I really needed a hair cut and style that gave my aging face a 'facelift' since I can't afford a real one! I told Marissa this and she knew just what to do. I walked out of there feeling lighter and prettier. Not to mention my new 'do' really gave my face a lift! So if you need a change or you're thinking about a new color or trying hair extensions, give Marissa a try. She is awesome at what she does. She will astonish you!

I have been going to Marissa for about 4 years. We moved to Sacramento from Southern Ca, and for the first year I actually timed visits with hair appointment needs. Marissa does a great job! I have had color correction (from red back to blonde), cuts, High & low lights, and my favorite the Keratin treatments. Marissa does an excellent job!

The star rating is accurate- Woohoo! As good as it gets! I had a terrible haircut at Aveda a few days ago where the stylist was extremely inexperienced in unprofessional. I asked for my hair to be one way, and the stylist made it completely different. It looked like she had never done highlights before (the underside of my hair was all one color, and the top was dark).
When I went to Marissa, I immediately felt like I was in good hands. She completely fixed my hair, and made it look amazing -just like the picture I had brought in. She was sociable and professional. She had no doubts; she knew exactly what she was doing. The salon at Studio 55 is very cute and inviting. Overall, it was an amazing experience that saved my hair and made my week. Thanks Marissa!

Finding the right person you can trust to cut and color your hair is one of the hardest things any girl has tried to do. Finding Marissa has saved me time and money because I never have to have it redone after! I've been going to her for years, no matter the distance, because of how perfect my hair turns out after she gets a hold of me. I've even gone in and said "Do what ever you want" and STILL been impressed!
To add to the package she is extremely friendly and will listen to you like a sister. Her inviting smile and patience makes getting your hair done really relaxing. If I could give you one good piece of advice it would be to make Marissa your go to gal for ALL your hair needs. Tell her Lindsey sent ya! =
