I went to Margaret for the first time, My hair was washed very good and the cut and style was great. They were very nice and organized. I set up my second appointment before I left

Margaret's is more than a great salon that does amazing and fast work! I had an appointment scheduled for a specific time. Margaret called me and asked if I could come a little later, which I did! Btw.she has never done this before! I arrive at the specified time and little did I know she was very very short on staff this particular Saturday so I had to wait a bit longer. Margaret apologized and apologized.

She called me to the back, it was my turn. Do you know as her way of showing her sincere apologies she did not charge me a dime for her services! Not only does she do excellent hair, provide a clean and welcoming environment. This shop operates with integrity, dignity and pride! Oh and she cares so much about the health of your hair! My hair has grown since going here!

I have fell in love with Margaret, Erica and the rest of her staff! Let me tell you.if you're looking for a top notch hair salon.look no further, Margaret's is the one! Absolutely fantastic and top professional business! Comfortable and friendly environment with reasonable prices and amazing stylists. Everything the very positive video shows and more. Timely and clean and all of the ladies do fantastic work. So happy to have found Erica as she is super talented. I have relaxed hair and had shampoo conditioner and trim.

I was pleased with the whole experience! I am natural and haven't really had a chance to get my hair done by the professionals. So happy I stumbled upon this gem of a salon. Admirable Black women, nice, accommodating and great vibes! I literally came in with no clue of how I wanted to get my hair styled because I am not use to this weather. The entire crew was encouraging and Kayla did a wonderful job! twist out style. Spacious shop, tidy, and organized. They even gave me snacks during my dry time.

I schedule an appointment for a wash and trim. When I made the appointment I informed them how the last place I went to heat damaged my hair. I informed them as well about my scalp issue and challenged edges. The lady informed me they use heat protectant and can just blow dry and trim it instead of flat ironing it. I was good with that decision. The day before my appointment someone calls to cancel it because they have no Braider to do corn rolls.

I told her I never scheduled for corn rolls she apologized and put down what I needed. I expressed to her I was a little iffy about coming since I had spoken to someone before and informed them of my issues and what I needed and they had no records of it. She assured me it was fine and took the notes and made the correction. Tell my why I get to the appointment and the lady at the front desk asked me what kind of braids am I getting . Like WTF really I walked out.

Loved my hair. Margaret/Erica and the whole team were really sweet and got me in and out quickly after a consult.

Margaret is amazing. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Salon is clean and they have a lot of return clients. They are always busy but they get you out in a timely manner. I highly recommend this business.

I brought my girls in on March 10th for a wash, trim and flat iron with Ms. Erica she was very professional and polite. Erica did an amazing job on my girls hair. It was one of my daughter's birthdays and she gave an additional 10% off which really nice. Prices are reasonable and I would definitely take the girls back to her.

They even squeezed my 5 year old daughter in and talked her through it keeping her calm and happy. She looks and feels amazing and so do I! We are officially regulars as we will be going back! Talk about a family feel. My whole experience was lovely. I was very pleased with the customer service and my stylist. Margaret is just wonderful. She is very friendly and professional. Her staff is awesome and warm. I got my hair washed and flat ironed (I have long and THICK hair) and they did an excellent job. The shop was very clean and I noticed the staff cleaning constantly. They definitely get an A+ from me!

Loved how they went above and beyond and hooked me up with my silk press with some nice balanced trim of layers loved it

First time getting my hair flat iron and trimmed and I have to say this is by far the best salon I've been to in the Sacramento area. I mixed and it's very difficult to find someone who is really good and affordable. The salon is very beautiful, they have complementary beverages and every staff/stylist Were very kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed.

This was my first time here. I was surprised I was able to be seen in a short time notice. I was in and out pretty quick. The staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. I love how my hair turned out. I'm very happy with the service I received. I will be back.

I have been going to Margaret's for several years now. I've NEVER been disappointed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always accommodating as well. I know when I moved here, it was a challenge to find a hair salon that knows how to handle ethnic hair. This place is it. I'm so glad to have found this place!

I was confident walking into this salon because of the great G+ reviews and I was not disappointed! This salon has a great, mellow atmosphere. The owners are both very friendly and far from pretentious. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional. I got a perfect haircut from Thelma. She did exactly what I wanted and gave me advice on maintaining the health of my hair and on potential color/highlight options. Pricing was reasonable as well. I will definitely be back!

I found Margaret's Salon on yelp. I'm appreciate of the previous reviews made about the shop as it influenced my decision in coming. Moving from FL and not knowing anyone to do my (natural) hair was tough at first. Today is my 3rd visit and I couldn't be happier. Margaret and her team always do a great job and I love the teamwork. I have had my natural hair done along with a sew-in (had it flat ironed today). Whatever services you go to get (wash and set, color, sew-in, braids, etc) you won't be disappointed. I recently visited Margaret's hair Salon after searching in the south area with no luck, I was lucky enough to find her Salon on line as soon as I looked at it I knew this was a place I would like to try; so I called and to my surprise SOMEONE answered, a real person; she was very polite and friendly, I booked and waited with great anticipation.

I just got my hair cut today. Shauntae was kind enough to stay late and give me a same day appointment. I was promptly greeted when I came in, and they even offered refreshments. The interior is very welcoming and clean. Shauntae took her time; she washed my hair, blew it out, cut it, and washed it again. She only charged me for a cut and it looks great. She is very skilled with cutting super-curly hair. The staff were all very friendly and the prices reasonable. Will definitely be returning.
