Shag the Salon has over 12 years experience in Permanent Thermal Straightening and has performed hundreds of flawless treatments. When it comes to product and technique we only use the BEST, YUKO SYSTEMS! Our permanent straightening system not only straightens curly or frizzy hair, but also repairs and regenerates the hair.

I have waited to do this review only because I wanted Kayla all to myself, but I must give credit where credit is due. She rocked my haircut! I'm new to the area and looked for someone who would it not emulate what I had, but did better. I had a lot of compliments on my new cut. need anyone? Kayla is your go-to. She will not disappoint. It is difficult to find someone who can cut straight, stringy hair and make it look good.

My review is long overdue, but Amanda is amazing! She is truly talented in what she does. She knew exactly how I wanted my hair color and cut to be, and she got me there. It's hard to find trustworthy hairstylists and she's a Godsend. She will take the time to make sure your color is blended and if you're a brunette going blonde she will make sure that brassiness does not exist. I will continue to go to her for all my hair needs, and highly recommend her!

The staff is wonderful at Shag. I'm a loyal customer and my stylist Katie is great at color and styling my hair. Also, when i moved back to San Antonio no hair salon had my favorite product UNITE. I mentioned it to Katie and then Boom they are on the shelf. It truly is an amazing product and I would have to order it online. Shag is a great place and I strongly recommend to family and friends. Plus 5 stars doesn't cut it needs to be 100!
