The staff at Gaston's Salon & Spa has developed its outstanding reputation over the past three decades in the New Braunfels area. The salon was established by Gaston T. Haupert orginally from the Grand Duchy of Luxumbourg. Gaston's passion for the industry as well as his high standards for skills and service are still demonstrated by his protegees in the daily operations of Gaston's Salon and Spa.

All cut and style visits include a thorough personalized consultation; a relaxing shampoo with an Aveda stress-relieving scalp massage, styling and home-care recommendations. During your hair appointment visit, you will experience your services with Aveda products made from naturally derived plant ingredients.
Enjoy relaxation, tension relief, reduced aches and pain, plus increased circulation with a soothing massage. Pressure point therapy on the feet, hands, and ears; focusing on the entire body, including internal organs. A deep tissue back massage; a guided meditation and energy work, including a Chakra Reflexology Foot Treatment.
Includes a paraffin wax treatment, exfoliation, hand and arm massage, nail care, plus your choice of a natural or polish finish. A spa therapy for tired legs and feet. An Aveda pedicure in a relaxing chair with a customized foot bath, a callus-eliminating treatment, natural sea salt exfoliation and massage, followed by a paraffin wax treatment to soften dry, rough skin.
To meet the needs of various skin types, we use a variety of waxes appropriate for the face and body. Please be aware that if you have been using topical or oral medication to control wrinkles, the skin may be determined ineligible for this process. Please allow 1/8 to 1/2 inch hair growth for best results.

Scheduled online and received confirmation of my appointment with a stylist name assigned to it. Luckily I called to confirm the appt since they didn't and they told me the appt was not available. The system they have on their website is not working and schedules appt even when there are not times available. They are aware of this and they do not advertise this on their sites.

Sam is my stylist and always listens carefully and has great suggestions when I want to try something new. She is meticulous and a true artist. Gaston's Salon and Spa offers the best ambiance of any hair salon I've been to in New Braunfels or San Antonio. In fact, I changed from my SA salon due to how frazzled I felt getting services. Gaston's is very clean.
The salon was the only place I continued to go to during the pandemic once they were allowed to re-open. The manicures and pedicures are relaxing and a nice treat. My whole family goes there too.

I used Gaston's for my wedding and everything turned out great. Sam has always been my go to for anything hair and when I set a date to get married I imminently called her and booked my bridal party! Everything came out great! Very well organized. Cute private space for us to hang out and enjoy some mimosas. They got my entire bridal party completed on time and looked fabulous. Sam took her time to make sure we found a style I liked.
I think my trail run was three hours because I couldn't make up my mind and she stayed patient with me. She guided me through the process like a pro. Thanks for everything Sam! You make Gaston's an amazing salon and spa. They are lucky to have you!

Cindy was very friendly and professional. She was on time for our appointment. I had come by Gaston's previously and given her my long-time Vegas hair stylist's notes on what she used for coloring/highlighting my hair. Cindy wrote it all down and was prepared when I came in a couple of weeks later. I am very pleased with both the coloring job as well as the haircut I received. Gaston's also receives high marks from me for having a clean and comfortable hair salon. I have found my Hill Country hairdresser!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value It was wonderful for my hair, and my soul, to finally get the much needed attention after being stuck in the house from this Covid crisis. Samantha was absolutely amazing! She took such good care of me and made my hair look and feel brand new! It's rare that you find someone who is so passionate about their job and that makes their client feel truly beautiful. Such a gorgeous salon with a relaxing atmosphere.
