The hair stylist Jessica made my toddler happy and even chatty the whole time! The place opened at 10am and we walked in and got a cut quickly. Great friendly service and very kid friendly for an adult place, we will be back. His cut was $18 which is average in my opinion, a little more than best cuts and a little less than children focused places. After a few visits I'm hoping I can get a quick manicure while he gets a haircut

I was visiting from PA for my cousin's wedding and a few days before the event, my hair/makeup person cancelled on me. I was frantically searching for a place to get these two services and I was recommended Cory's. It was a blessing to be able to be accommodated so quickly here. From the front desk to the artists, I was all smiles because of the professional and friendly service. Melissa did my makeup and she was so quick, effective, and sweet.
She made me feel and look beautiful and I am so thankful. Cassie did my half up/half down hairstyle and she was great. She was so kind and able to tame my hair that usually has a mind of its own. I definitely recommend Cory's and have found my go to place for all future events! Thanks ladies!

Let me just say I've been going to Stephanie for two years now and she has never disappointed. I have left feeling amazing every single time. Being a mom of 4 kids definitely motivated doubt yourself, Stephanie is so funny and very down to earth I won't work with anyone else. She's just amazing and knows exactly how to do my hair I've let her choose on multiple occasions and she seems to go above and beyond every single time. You're getting top notch service and worth every penny!

Our family has been going to Cory's for some time. We truly enjoy their numeruos services and our stylist Stephanie. My older daughter requested a Deva cut for her bithday and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Her usually untamed hair is Beautiful and very manageable. I frequent this stylist for my unique color treatments and look forward to our appointments every time. I highly recommend the salon for their very reasonable prices and excellent customer service, not only from Stephanie, but from all of the Cory's staff.

Went to Cory's for bridal hair and makeup. Hair was not bad.7/10. My stylist was nice and I liked some of the other hairstyles that were done. They were also prompt and relatively inexpensive. I wasn't happy with the makeup I received. The other girls looked good and it seemed like they were happy, but my cosmetologist was maybe inexperienced with applying makeup to hooded eyelids. Hooded eyelids are a challenge and mine are somewhat asymmetrical so I get it, but even I know a few basic rules.
It wasn't flattering and I ended up having to take off some of the lower eye makeup right when I got to the hotel. I paid for eyelashes which started coming off within the hour. I tried to trim them and what remained lasted about half the day. I try not to post bad reviews but this by far is the worst experience I have had in such a long time. After being locked in the house for past year I thought it would be nice to take my daughter and myself out for a hair day. Devacut and color. Welp. What we went over and expressed was NOT what we got BUT they surely charged us for the service. We showed Stephanie many photos expressing what we wanted a balayage ombre NOT highlights.
For my hair she just grabs pieces of hair and started applying color without parting without foil it was the messiest job. While my hair was processing there was a chunk she didn't even apply dye to. My daughter had a ombre prior so needed to touch up and bring blonde up well she gave her highlights throughout her hair. Again NOT what we asked for.
She didn't even color the ends of her hair she she just slapped dye on middle foil and only did the top half. As for devacut she gave my daughter 2 cut styles leaving it very gappie as well as my hair. With deva your suppose to do one curl at a time not chunks. I have done deva for 4yrs almost 5yrs now and know the process. When she colored my hair I wanted a blonde she gave me orange copper before I left I told her this is not the color I wanted.
She said go home give couple days and see if I like it. She put a dime size deva cream in my hair left my hair soaking wet and charged me for deva style n cut. My daughter hair and mine was NO WHERE near styled. Everything in our face showed we was not happy. I don't mind paying for service but let it be what we asked for. Stephanie shouldn't be specialized as a devacut stylist at all.
I don't care how many devacut you do in a day if you don't do it right your just damaging womens hair and should be ashamed. I asked for a different stylist or manager to fix our hair and they refused said Stephanie had to do it however we had bad feeling that she would over process our hair do more damage so I asked for a refund. A partial being we paid higher bill but didn't get done what I paid for. corys manager refused.
She was very rude and didn't care. I mentioned I paid ALOT of money like over 400 for our hair and didn't get the service we paid for she said well u paid for the amount of product. WHAT! Who responds to a customer like that. I wasn't rude I just wanted our hair fixed. But after dealing with them for a week I went locally and paid another 300 to fix it.
It took the stylist 3hrs on my hair 2hrs on my daughter's hair to fix what was done. Corys should be ashamed nickle and diming customer and not providing the right service. I wish I could post all the photos on this review absolutely horrible. Sadly if you have curly hair, dark hair and want color, a ombre or balayagi you DONT want Stephanie to touch your hair.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism First time here today after receiving a gift card and I got a pedicure by Stephanie. The place was so cute and clean, and she was so funny and pleasant to talk with. Loved the pedicure will definitely be back for another and more of their services! Service: Pedicures

First visit. Very disappointed. I grew my hair out so I could have some nice layers put in and add a some bangs. The cut is terribly choppy, bangs are squared, do not blend in and crooked! I wanted to go back and have them fix it but was scared it would be worse. Plus I really want to keep the length. Not worth the 60 bucks I spent. I wish I could add a photo to the review.

I have given Cory's a try several times over the years, Especially since I lived nearby. Usually just eyebrow wax which were always fine. I also like the selection of product they have But I have never once been happy with a manicure or pedicure. I took my 6 yr old niece last year for her first pedi. The girl who did hers did a fine job. The lady who did mine rushed through it and it looked awful. Crooked nails. Clumpy paint, lacquer all over my toes.
When we were done, There was nowhere to sit and dry. Like I'm going to let a 6 yo climb into a car with wet tootsies? Well that when i noticed how bad mine was and it was so awkward bc the lady who did mine said she would fix them for free. Duh, of course it should be free. And NO I don't want you, you were careless and haphazard! So patient little girl had to wait while I had my polish redone. What a waste of time and money. Never again.

I went to the salon for a color only. Though the color was nicely done, it was when I went to pay for my service and was charged $110.00. I inquired the breakdown. Matrix is a general color in my opinion, but I was told it was organic, ect. Also, a haircut included. Now let me explain, I did not have a haircut. The stylist knew I had a vary bad experience about a year ago and I explained I was to afraid to proceed with her cutting my hair.
After talking it over, I allowed the stylist to cut the dead ends off. She than said "you are very quiet" and I said I was nervous. She says look "this is all I took off and compared it to an eyelash". Now to get back to the total price, I was in shock. since I did not get a haircut, I ask the receptionist and the stylist what does a haircut costs here?
She replied it does not matter it is the same price. I spoke with the owner two weeks later and told the entire story. Cory said she would get back to me. Within fifteen minutes the receptionist Diana contacted me and said they would like to send me a gift certificate for a haircut half off. I declined and said that is not what I was asking for. My point to this message would be ask before you start any service with your stylist.
I do not want what happen to me to occur with someone else and have your bill escalate. It is a shame that this occurred. Yes, they have been in business for over 29 years, but that does not mean you as the customer should be over charged. I am being polite by not expressing what I truly feel. I just want to get the word out, ask about their pricing before you start with the services you are going to have done. Don't back down if they low ball it, make sure you know #$$$$$$ the costs. FYI: I was in such shock, I could not think and instead of saying let me speak to the manager, I tipped $15.00. Word of mouth is the best advertisement and that does not cost ANYTHING@! (forgot to post when this occurred)

I have been coming here for a year now. Everyone here is awesome at what they do but Miranda was EXCEPTIONAL! She was extremely personable and made me feel comfortable. I am insecure about my feet but she took care of me and made me feel normal. Best experience I have ever had at a salon or anything beauty related. I recommend her for whatever you need done at Cory's, she is an expert at every service offered.

Was very disappointed with the customer service at this place. We had a scheduled appt for a bridal party. We called a month in advance to change who all was coming and when we got there they had no record of it. The front desk lady, Diane, was very unpleasant about it. Not did we ever receive any kind of "friendly reminder phone call" the day before.
The lady at the front desk said to us, "well we will try to fit you in" even though we had an appointment there. The ladies who did our facials/massages were a lot more pleasant and friendly. But when the first person you come in contact with at the front desk is nasty to you, it kind of ruins your whole experience. I would not recommend bringing a group to this place because there were a lot of things told to us over the phone that never happened there.

Visited the spa for the first time today. I had a facial and Swedish massage. Melissa was excellent! Professional and thoughtful and very caring. I left feeling like a new person. Gave me a goody bag and some great coupons. Staff was friendly and warm. I will definitely return for a repeat. Scheduled me same day! Awesome.

Cory's hair studio is TOP NOTCH! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Hair cut is always wonderful and LOVE their choices in nail colors! With all the services they offer, all the licensed professionals, you absolutely cannot go wrong. This place is HIGHLY recommended! I was a previous hair stylist and this location is definitely up to date on trend and it shows in their work! I will come back and always recommend because I have always had a relaxing and comfortable experience here.

Go here if you have step by step instructions on how you want your hair and than not even have it done the way you want. Also, lots of hidden fees that are not on their website 3 polish changes turned out to be $60 (huge increase from$12 each). Salon was not clean as you would expect. If you try to fix your hair or make up they took offense. My eyeliner was done too thick and I requested it to be re done and they lady stated "can someone fix her eyeliner because I have no idea what's wrong with it." I do want to say Moni was very professional and my up do looked great in the end. Pricing was ridiculous. I imagine they up charge because, lack of tips.

I went to corys for my wedding day. My hair and make up turned out better then i ever dreamed. Everyone loved it. The girls who worked there are amazing. Rachael did an amazing job on everything. My mom had her hair and make up done too and it turned out wonderful. Really nice and down to earth. I cant wait to go back.

Below is the review I wrote just after getting a very bad haircut here. This is a revision because I went back to have my hair recut by the owner of the salon herself yesterday. I was treated with respect and Cory is a talented and experienced stylist. She was able to repair the hair cut and surpassed my expectations. She didn't try to charge me for this cut either.
The right side of my head needs another cut to correct the previous cut after some more regrowth but right now it's great. Cory is the best and I am so happy with my hair. I'd been to Cory's previously and had a good cut and style. A year later that stylist was gone so had Melissa cut my hair Friday 8-7-2015. She cut it dry and I had read it was a good way to cut hair so I was ok with that.
At first she seemed to know what to do. My hair was long and layered. It's the best way to cut my curly hair and I've had some great looks with that kind of cut. Melissa took a very long time cutting the back of my head and when she started giving more attention to the front it became apparent she was lost. I was nervous but gave her time which turned out to be just enough time to completely ruin my hair. I've never had such a mess to deal with. Chopped and butchered beyond belief.
I was stunned when she finished and with a puzzled expression offered to cut more off the top. I could see she had no clue what to do to fix that mess so I just paid the tab and even left a small tip. I was that shocked at what had just happened to my luxurious healthy hair! I called and talked to the manager a minute ago and they are willing to get me in right away with a manager at no charge to see what can be done with this. I'm hoping to revise this review for the better after that.

I had my nails and hair done here. Manicure tables were unclean, they used stained towels, employees spent too much time talking amongst each other. To say my manicure was messy is an understatement. I had polish on my nails and around them on two fingers and had to refile at home to make sure they were all the same length. Hair service was ok, definitely not above average. All in all, way overpriced for such an (under)average salon. Many better salon choices in the area!

Stopped at this salon for the first time the other night to get my eyebrows and lip waxed.big mistake! The woman who did my eyebrows accidentally waxed half of one of my eyebrows off. She tried to tell me it probably wasn't her fault I probably had a bald spot from a scar or something there, which is not true. There was no bald spot until she waxed one, and I've never had this happen to me.
When I went to pay she followed me up and waited for her tip. As if I'm going to tip the moron that ruined a simple eyebrow clean up. I shouldn't have paid but I did feeling overwhelmed and I went home. Decided to call the next day to tell them about the issue. The receptionist I spoke with was very kind and apologetic, but the manager was super rude.
She just kept saying that that doesn't usually happen there. She wouldn't give me a refund and continued begging me to come back naming a bunch of different people I could see. Overall I've never had such a crappy job done on my eyebrows and instead of admitting their mistake everyone from the stylist to the manager refused to admit fault and make it right.

My first visit was August 15. Fri. morning it was very busy. The two receptionists handled the crowd well. Mariana was my stylist. I told her what I wanted for hair color and why, then she recommended colors. My hair had not been cut or colored for 4 months. I received a cut and 2 tone color in just 2 hours, which is great timing. The color turned out fabulous, it's very even, no hot roots, and the tones are nice.
You did a nice job, Thank You. I was a little shocked when I left, the receptionist handled me well, complemented my color. This is a very nice salon, with a professional staff and great pricing!

I have been to several places for "Shellac" nails prior to Cory's. What makes Cory's better? They use the real Shellac brand (CND) and not the OPI or other versions which are not nearly as good. They use all disposable products and are very clean. They have many CND colors compared to other salons and the staff is very friendly. They are also competitively priced and can squeeze me in last minute practically every time. I see Mary G. she is experienced and very fun to talk to : )

My haircut is okay, although shorter than I wanted and not the cut I wanted; i was out in 15 minutes. The receptionist should NOT be working with people. i found her to be rude and because of her rudeness will not return to this salon. On a previous visit I experienced a very different atmosphere, everyone was kind the same stylist took her time, made recommendations, receptionist (same) was fine. Oh, the owner was there that day!

Sorry Cory's Studio and in particular Rachel. I tried to make it work, but I'm giving up. Other stylists at Cory's may be just fine, but definitely do not recommend Rachel. She needs to learn how to communicate with her clients to ensure they are on the same page with the cut/style. She needs to not give smart *** comments when asked a basic question about your hair ex.
