Marengo Luxury Spa

I had an amazing experience! I was given a facial by this young lady name Taeler Wilkerson! She did an awesome job! I will definitely be going back again! Thanks Taeler You're Awesome!

At first glance this is place is gorgeous - beautiful location in the Gallery. Then when you look closer at the details.ekk, nothing is new or clean. The staff-God forbid you have a question or interrupt them gossiping with each other or on their phones, you'll get the look of death, seems very clicky- not comfortable, not welcoming. The walls/ceilings are literally falling apart in the massage rooms, the robes they give you to wear. GROSS not even letting that touch my body.

The polish color choices and quality are a joke. Anyone that has actually been to a legit spa would not highly review this place. The employees complain and the owner doesn't even care just look at the reviews she never responds LOL this place is a mess and needs new ownership

I've visited Marengo 5x since 2013, with the most recent being a girls spa package April 2022. I will NEVER return. As a beauty service provider myself, I am truly disappointed to write a negative review but the owner/manager has to improve the negative atmosphere caused by employees that dislike their jobs/could careless about the services they are performing and the expired product (gel polishes) and old, itchy, stained robes given to those who book the spa package.

The gel manicure my sister recieved peeled off a few nails in a matter of 5 days - she works part time, remotely. Nothing in her life warrants wear and tear such as that. The gel pedicure I recieved - just look at the polish job in the pics. My massage therapist said her table didnt have a heating pad, so I was cold. She didn't know how to use the headrest, when she asked if I wanted it adjusted she tried to move the angle a bit and she dropped it on the floor.

She put it back on with such an incline saying she could go get someone for help, but I was already undressed on the table that made me uncomfortable. So after the massage I actually had pain in my neck for 3 days due to her inability to work it properly. She only spent 37minutes on me when the spa package indicates 50min.a few of those minutes was her adjusting the stupid table.

I can almost swear she checked her phone twice during my appointment, there were multiple times I felt only one hand on me and could of sworn I heard her phone unlock code. Just not a pleasant feeling to be face down, naked with someone not respecting the vulnerable position you're in or the fact that you may only treat urself to something such as this every other year.

There was just no care given. Best part of our visit - mom & sister received a massage from Kimberly, she was incredible to both of them. Truly just below average place that somehow affords to be in the beautiful location it's in - they haven't upgraded their offerings or their products. Also one of the nail techs mentioned being limited creatively due to the manager not allowing designs.just a weird place.

I got the package and my husband got the hot stone. It was amazing! Incredible location, awesome staff, all around great vibes.

Thank you I had a pedicure today due to the fact that I had a gift card. I have trouble taking care of my feet due to my rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. The lady did a superb job. She won the war of the wild dead skin. Thank you so much!

I absolutely loved this place. I stayed at the hotel and book a hair and waxing appointment. The wax technician was friendly and excellent at her job. She even covered my redness afterwards with make-up! My hair was absolutely awesome when he got done! This was a few years ago and unfortunately I'm bad with names.

This place is fantastic and very relaxing! If you are little bit on the heavier side you will be extremely comfortable. Front desk lady was friendly and I definitely recommend Kimberly. She hit all the tough and tight muscles. The massage rooms are so nice, clean and smell great. And the price is a very affordable.

Aroma therapy facial with Olga was great but I expected to be advised on what was best for my skin and that didn't happen. Also had a massage that was ok. Cancelled pedicure no one told me I would sit there soaking forever before they ever got started on me.

Shameka did my facial. She was amazing. She did some extractions as well, but was so good at it, that it didn't really hurt like they usually do. She put me in a relax state of mind and took all my worries away. This has been the best facial within 15 years. No kidding! The room is also very soothing and comforting. Wonderful relaxing music as well. I also think the massage table is heated which was really nice.

I really enjoyed the time there! I went there for mani-pedi, haircut and a massage. The people there were very nice and Jeffery (the hair stylish) did a wonderful job with my hair. With all this covid going on, I have to say the place is very very clean and everyone is wearing masks and keeping the place safe for everyone! If you live or ever stop in Cleveland and want a special treat you should stop by at this spa!

Good spa experience! My service started 15 mins late which is my only complaint. But I did enjoy my facial.

Very nice place. The best mani/pedi with Kelly Ann. Nice and relaxing waiting area for your spa treatment. Lovely massage chairs for the pedi. Huge choice in nail polish. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Been going here for years. A wonderful treat a couple times a year.

I always stop here when in Cleveland. The staff is courteous and have a passion for what they do. Olga was amazing for my aromatherapy facial. They had an adorable relaxation room for before, between and after services. It is stocked with light snacks and any type of wine glass you would need. BYOB or Prosecco in our case!

Eyebrow waxing is available in most spas and salons around town. However, finding someone downtown who could quickly fit me in on my lunch break proved to be a challenging task. I called first thing in the morning and was thankful to get an appointment for just a few hours later. I was greeted with a friendly smile and taken to a serene waiting area. Teresa then came to get me and took me to the treatment room. Again, serene.

I felt incredibly relaxed as I laid back and enjoyed the sounds of the spa. To add to the pleasant experience, my brows looked better than they had in some time! The price wasn't much more than I would've paid in my neighborhood and I loved the convenience and atmosphere.

My husband and I went for pedicures; Danielle and Mary Ann did a fabulous job. The owner/receptionist was very personable and served us chilled water while we had a brief wait. Later, during our time in Cleveland I chipped a finger nail (from my salon at home) I "walked into" Marengo and Danielle quickly fixed it. I would recommend this salon, it is clean, staff are lovely and prices reasonable.

I come stay in Cleveland a few months in the fall and again in the spring. Marengo is my "go to" place for all my spa needs! I have had multiple manicures and pedicures, massages, facials, and have gone in for a leg wax and twice to get my hair colored. They are always professional and super nice to deal with. I will definitely continue coming here!

I went in for a facial. The service was absolutely amazing. the esthetician Theresa was very knowledgeable and kind! The only con is how pricey the museum is. You can probably go elsewhere for cheaper and still achieve a beautiful glow-- however, your esthetician wouldn't be Theresa which would be a con!

While staying at the Hyatt Regency at The Arcade, I forgot my curling iron and desperately needed something done with my hair for my friend's wedding that afternoon. Lucky enough, the Marengo Luxury Spa was located within The Arcade and when I stopped by in the morning to see if someone would be available for an appointment in the afternoon, they were more than happy to oblige.

I came back in the afternoon and was seen right away. I forget my stylist's name but she was very friendly and a joy to talk to. She did a decent job styling my hair. I went with a half-up, half-down style for the wedding. Unfortunately, since my hair is very long and fine in texture, all of the curls she so delicately put in my hair had fallen by the time of the wedding.

My biggest qualm was that before making the appointment, I had asked someone at the front desk to give me an estimate of how much it would cost. She said just to style it would be less than $35. But after my style was done and I went to pay, I was charged closer to $50. Seeing that my hairdo did not make it through the ceremony or the reception, I probably would not have had my hair done for $50.

By no means a "Luxury" Spa. For manicures - you are crammed into what seems like a small closet, sitting very close/nearly on top of the other person getting their nails done (basically in their conversation). I have gotten shellac multiple times, and each time the shellac has chipped on day 2. One time, the technician even made my nail bleed. For the "spa" area, the locker room is also a small closet with a sink.

If you need to use the restroom, it is public to the entire establishment. The waiting area for the spa is far from relaxing. It is very noisy, usually full of bacherolettes. It is not private at all and would not be considered a "getaway". For massages - we did a couple's massage and were taken into a room that reminded me of a giant shower.

It was cold in the room - not the warmth of the room and bed that I usually have during massages. Right away, the technician gave us a speech about how she would only use her fingers and palms and nothing else and refused to use any pressure. So basically the "massage" was just a very expensive rub down. My masseuse also left in the middle of my massage for a few minutes for I dont know the reason. The experience was certainly nothing special and I won't likely be using their facilities again.

This place is great! We stayed in CLE for the weekend and I called earlier in the week to make a reservation. A+ customer service, my husband had the aromatherapy massage and he loved it.

While in the area on business, I looked for a salon to maintain my manicure. This one was nearby and beautiful. The staff was wonderfully pleasant and the atmosphere restful. My manicurist was charming. I left very content with my nails. So why the single star? Two says later my cuticles started peeling horribly. Within 5 days the gel polish started flaking off.

By the time I got home and returned to my nail salon, 4 cuticles were torn and a mess. No polish left and 3 nails torn when the polish peeled. Lovely place, nice people but certainly not recommended for nails.

I tried this place because i just needed a quick mani and BADLY. This place was the only one I found with a good star rating on yelp and within walking distance for me! (Bonus!) I was apprehensive at first since some of the more recent reviews made this place out to be a little snooty (it is a spa in THE Arcade after all), but TBH I was treated with nothing but respect and kindness from the moment I walked in!

The woman at the desk was so friendly and kind, and even when I left she literally dug my wallet out of my mary-poppins-purse, opened my wallet to get out my credit card, and even manually put on my jacket for me as my nails were still drying. I mean, if that ain't "above and beyond" I don't know what is. The nail tech I had was Sharon and she was awesome! I'm not one for pampering usually. but she had me in and out in 30 minutes with amazing nails.

She truly took the time to make my hands fabulous. She was seemingly perfecting every little thing on my fingers and fixing even the most minute cuticle imperfections. I couldn't believe she was so thorough! I feel usually people try to just slab some new polish on in 10 minutes and try to move you along for more turnover, but Sharon was totally not like that. I'm also not one to really chit-chat and make small talk. and I appreciated that she didn't attempt too many times.

I think she could gauge I was tired from my work day and just wanted to sit and get a mani with minimal awkward conversation. So extra tip to her for that. Only tip is to make sure you have cash for tipping! I usually remember this but forgot to plan ahead and had to tip on my card. Overall a great experience and even sitting in the arcade was relaxing while I waited a little longer for my nails to dry.

Marengo is not just one of the best spas in Cleveland, but one of the bet spas i've ever been to! The location is incredible. You honestly cannot beat being inside the Arcade, one of Cleveland's architectural gems. The spa itself is pristine, and they are always able to fit me in for appointments that work with my schedule. Kelly Ann consistently does an incredible job with my nails, and seeing her is sometimes the best part of my day!

My shellac manicures last longer than usual when done by her, and I will literally wait for an opening with Kelly Ann before i'd even consider going to a different gal in Cleveland. Much like rest of the staff, she has an awesome personality that makes the visit relaxing and fun. Because of the location, you won't find direct parking for the Arcade.

I would recommend taking an Uber, or parking on one of the Prospect Avenue facing lots (you will need to enter the Arcade through the Prospect side). Marengo is on the second floor, so be sure you're looking for it on the correct level!

My bestie got married at the Arcade just a few weeks ago. We spent 4 nights staying at the Hyatt, enjoying downtown Cleveland and all that the historic Arcade has to offer. We visited the salon/spa twice during this 4 day wedding weekend. The pros: super convenient location, on the 2nd floor of the hotel. It's a cute little spot with nice amenities, we got an entire back room lounge while the bridal party and bride got her hair done with mimosas and snacks.

The cons: Price (not shocking since its so convenient). I don't mind paying more especially for my best friends wedding but I don't want to completely sacrifice quality. We did manicures and pedicures (mother of the bride set it up) and it was a total waste of money. thank god I had my nails done at home before coming into Cleveland because the pedicure here was bad.

I did the mini spa pedicure (apparently 30 minutes). It included nail filing and painting and that's it. Literally- no scrubbing of feet, almost no massage. I left with fresh toe nail paint that I could have done myself. 20 minute experience and with tip, it was 40 bucks. I did it for the bride but my bank account was upset with me. Like I said, wouldn't mind paying if it had been some what worth the money!

My wedding hair came out better than my pedicure. Thank goodness (pictures don't lie). I wish I could remember the gal's name who did my hair. She was super sweet and took her time, which I appreciated. Wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was better than I could have done myself. It was $60. Side note: I didn't get my make up done but most of the bridal party did.

Only 2 girls were happy with the way it turned out. It seems like they really only have 1 strong make up artist. The brides aunt ended up completely washing her face after and re-doing the make up herself. Make sure you look into who you are booking your appointment with before you confirm anything here! Overall, it was a 3 star experience for me. Most importantly, the bride loved her hair and make up and that's all that mattered!
