This was my first service at Neroli Downtown and I fully plan to return. Everyone was genuinely so nice! Grace did an amazing job cutting my hair. The complimentary scalp massage felt absolutely incredible. I really felt the stylist understood my hair type and how to shape it in the most flattering way. She offered helpful advice for styling. Overall, wonderful experience, very happy.

I came in for a blow dry/style with Nick and jokingly told him my hair had to be pretty enough so I'd be picked as a contestant on bachelor live. Left with gorgeous curls and went to the event, where I was actually picked to be a contestant! THANKS NICK! My mom also got her hair done by Jenna and it looked stunning. 10/10 experience would recommend to anyone :

Absolutely lovely Aveda salon. I was there for a spa pedicure and manicure. The services were wonderful and pampering with a refreshing mint masque for my feet and cozy paraffin treatment on my hands. Staff were welcoming and kind and helpful throughout. I live out of town, but will be back whenever I visit for more nail, massage, and facial services. Felt very luxurious and was a great start to the day.

This is my favorite salon in the area. Staff is friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a relaxing visit. When I feel like treating myself to a luxurious moment of self care, this is where I go. Their massage services are great - with a clean and relaxing locker room. They also have great manicure and pedicure services. I also get my hair cut and styled here, and every stylist I have had has done a fantastic job with my hair. I've been coming here for at least two years now and do not plan on going anywhere else.

STEPHANIE is absolutely amazing at what she does! My boyfriend and I came in for a couples massage and shes the absolute sweetest and has such a warm & comfortable energy. She made my boyfriend and I foot bath's after our massages & even recommended some products to buy after If you are wondering who to go to for a massage, she is your lady I will definitely be back to see her again

Sepideh is truly a hair genius! I had a huge hair color issue from another salon and she came in and fixed it beyond what I thought was possible! She's a true hair artist! Not only has she saved my hair and made it healthy again. But she's also taught me so much about skin care and prioritizing self care. She is such an amazing hair stylist. I won't let anyone else touch my hair now! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

Horrible. Asked to cover my grays. Sat in the chair with foils that didn't do anything for 35 minutes before even being checked on. Said she would check on me in 20. Nope. She checked on me finally I asked her when she was putting the color on my hair. She said she's toning it. I told her toning my hair won't cover my grays (like I explained during the consult I wanted covered) she said it'll be fine and made up an excuse she doesn't have time.
Why could she have put color on my roots while the few foils were sitting there for 40 minutes. I told her my hair takes a long time to lift and that I warned them when I booked my appointment to give her extra time. Mind you, she said she didn't have enough time after only being in her chair for 1 hour. My hair literally looks no different. When she showed me how my hair lifted I told her it needs more time (I have a cosmetology license too) she said that (once again) she doesn't have any more time. Lol Um ok?
My hair looks like the same color when I went in except like 2 orange small strands by my face. Horrible. Manager pulled her aside but didn't address the situation to me, I clearly was unhappy. Do not go here. They don't care. They don't have the time. The haircut wasn't bad. The color sucked and didn't do anything.

Scheduled a wash and style for my daughter over a month ago for her graduation. Got a call this weekend stating her stylist was not available and they need to reschedule, when I called the apathetic receptionist stated "oh yeah we can't do that day at all, we need to move you to a different day". I told her that no that would not work as this hair style was for her graduation that day, and could they see her at a different location or time that day.
Her response was and I quote"nope" and then "so should I just cancel this appointment for you then". For the prices they charge they should have a little customer service, especially since this was an appointment made weeks ago. Luckily I called dry bar in the 3rd ward and they were helpful and happy to give us an appointment. I wont be wasting my time and money at neroli anymore.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I was 8 mins late (you know it snowed last night and sometimes traffic just doesn't go as fast) and I got a call from a rude lady asking when I finally will be there because I'm already well past my time (8 mins). I told her I'm literally there in 3 mins. She then said oh no I have to reschedule you. I drove 20 mins to this place. save your time

Wish I would have read these reviews before today. I too sat for over an hour with dye on my hair in a high-traffic and uncomfortable table. I was there for nearly three hours. Watched while my stylist washed, cut and blow out her other client's hair. Neroli doesn't value my time - I will not be giving them my money.

Blatantly uneven haircut and TERRIBLE customer service. I had a haircut with Sarah - she was very nice and seemed to do a good job. Except that when she was finished, one side was WAY longer than the other. I thought maybe it just looked that way because she had curled it a little. But when I got in my car and looked in the mirror, it was clearly lopsided.
I went back in and she trimmed it a little, but said that since it was a little curled she couldn't be sure if it was even. Really? Wouldn't you do everything you could to make sure it's fixed? She said that if it was still lopsided the next time I blowdried it I should book another trim with her. I'm sorry, but I'm not coming in THREE times to get a haircut that's not lopsided. An even length is a basic expectation of any haircut.
I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager. I expected to be accommodated the same day so my haircut could be salvaged. The manager (or whoever was on the phone) was very rude and said no, I need to book a trim with the same person. I explained that I'm not comfortable going back to her since she was unable to get the cut even after two attempts.
He said that's what happens when someone cuts your hair for the first time. REALLY? He would not make any effort to get me in and was very rude and short. I told him I would have to take my business elsewhere and he could not care less. This situation made me very uncomfortable and frustrated. Received a back facial spa service today that was excellent. Jill E gave me the back facial; she was friendly, but not too chatty, explained the process very well and overall was great in performing the back facial! Kim greeted me when I arrived. She was friendly, attentive and professional; made me feel very welcome. I will definitely go back to Jill E for another back facial!

Well, in the future, I will only be going to this location for products. It is very close to my house and I would give it 5 stars for available products. However, I will not be going back for any service. ever. If you want to go a Neroli, go to the Bayshore location. The service I got was the chakra reflexology pedicure. Here is what my $88 got me: * waited nearly 10 minutes past my appointment time on a very awkward couch in the lobby area * my technician was very gruff and apathetic * when I was finally seated, I still waited another 10ish minutes for her to get ready * my chakra "reading" was uneventful * I got a 30 minute massage of her mainly massaging my toes and the top of my calf as she zoned out to the floor * the lights were so bright in the room it was hard to relax *lastly, she didn't even get all the nail polish off and last night I had to do my own cuticles because I guess she couldn't be bothered by that either.

My highlights are completely botched, likely because I sat with foils in my hair for over 45 mins while my stylist did a women's wash, cut, and style on another client. Several foils bled, leaving stripes right at my part line. I immediately returned to the salon, and I was told me that these stripes would "diffuse out" in a couple of days. I feel lied to as these are bleach marks that will not just "wash out".
My stylist did not try to remedy the issue and was quick to push me out of the salon as I was the last client of the day. I called the salon the next morning to try and schedule a color fix, and they told me that concerns require some type of special approval and that they would have to call me back the next day. So now I'm left with bleach marks right at my part line while I wait for the salon to get back to me.
A color correction appt should have been set up immediately. I have been a loyal Neroli customer for over 10 years and I was left with completely botched hair and no appointment to fix it.

By far the worst time I have had getting a mani-pedi. I wish I knew the name of the person to avoid, but sadly, she did not introduce herself. The appointment was for 9:30. We arrived at 9:20. I was finally taken back at 9:50 with no apologies or explanations. I wanted gels but was told there was not time for that. The pedi salt scrub literally involved her dumping salt from a shaker onto her glove, moving it around my feet twice and then putting it back into the water. Don't bother to get the "extra" service.
There are better places out there. I had polish on my nails, which also seemed to inconvenience her. She informed me that she couldn't complete my manicure service -even with a regular manicure- because she would have to take off the polish. When we moved to the manicure station, she informed me that her next appointment had cancelled, so she could do the gel if I wanted, but first she needed to take off the polish.
She filed my nails down and wrapped them (all without making any eye contact, conversation, or even a smile) and then left the room for about 25 minutes. She came back and tried to scrape my pinky nail polish off, but was unsuccessful. She wrapped it back up and disappeared again. At this point I had been on site for over 1.5 hours. When she returned, she scrapped, filed, and buffed my nails thin and said she wouldn't have time for anything but regular polish because my polish removal took so long.
I let her know that I usually just rub nail polish remover with a cotton ball on it and it comes right off. She seemed to think the nail polish (opi gel from another store) was to blame. By that time I was ok with it because I was concerned about how much filing she had done. She said she couldn't do the regular 3 coats because it would take too long.
She finally finished and moved me to the drying couch after almost 3 hours. She did not tel me how long to stay, didn't take out the toe paper, didn't even speak to me. No one asked how the service was up front, and I looked for a suggestion box, but found none. Please watch out. This was a VERY expensive, VERY long mani-pedi and the service was terrible.
I am so disappointed in this experience and am shocked that this was an Aveda approved representative. I have never felt less appreciated than I did today. I left feeling like I was an inconvenience to the girl and the shop.

This review is for Jamie, their new massage therapist: I have been to three different Neroli locations and Jamie is the best Neroli has to offer in any location! I am so glad that I finally found her. I will never go to anyone else. She pays attention to the details of your needs while working out kinks with the appropriate amount of pressure. Her massage treatment is comforting and enjoyable while also treating you with hot/warm towels.
It makes a huge difference when someone really enjoys what they do and it is entirely evident in the way that Jamie cares for you during the massage. An absolute jewel among massage therapist.

I see Shauna for my haircuts. She does a great job. I don't think I am fussy or ask for anything impossible but it has been hard to find a decent hairdresser. I am very happy with her. I have had manicures and pedicures here. I thought the price and quality were similar to any other salon I had visited. I have also had massages here. They were just ok.
So I am still searching for a place that has a good massage. The online reservation system is annoying. I don't get what the issue is. I have tried to book services and it says they are booked for weeks but when I call there are numerous openings. I would really love it if the online system worked since that would be so convenient.

I got an eyebrow waxing and a pedicure from this location. After reviewing my eyebrows after the appointment I noticed the esthetician clearly trimmed one area of the brow way to short leaving what looks to be a gaping hole in the hair. It will definitely require filling in. The pedicure was nice but the callous removal was a light touch, to say the least - like a paintbrush on the sole of my foot.
The key elements of the service: scrub, callous removal and the massage were all a little lackluster. I'm not sure what has happened to this location but the services definitely were not worth the $91.00 I paid. I'll just do both at home from now on!

Maybe I'm not the target clientele. I had an impossibly difficult time using the online and app version of the scheduling system that I was told to use when I called to make an appointment. The woman had no interest in taking my appointment over the phone. After weeks - not even kidding - of trying to schedule a massage system would constantly say nothing was available even when I selected "any date" and "any time", I finally gave up and scheduled a facial instead.
My skin doesn't look or feel any different after one of the higher priced facials. While the amenities were nice they weren't top tier. The hair dryer provided was a tangled mess with a broken handle exposing all the wiring. The entire building vibrated in a way that felt like you were in an earthquake which was disconcerting as well, especially if you've been in one.
I expected the product pushing, which, of course, came when I went to pay. I did not expect the automatic assumption that I wanted the products to be added to my bill and had to state that I specifically did not want them. The esthetician was nice, this is not a review of her service, it's just that the products didn't really do anything for me.

I received nail services (mani/pedi) for the first time exactly one week ago. The next day (please see pics) my nails looked as if I had not been serviced and today they look as if I need a manicure again. The technician was very nice and attentive however; her technique especially for the price was lacking. I accumulate a lot of cuticle and even though I shared that information up front it did not help. I'm very disappointed as I am new to the area and I am looking for a place to go regularly. I guess the search will continue.

Booking an appointment with Neroli is always easy on the phone! Had a haircut with Shana Marie (?). I waited quite a while for her to collect me for the appointment, and I got to listen to young college students talk about courses. Yay! She was friendly and did a fantastic job on my hair. I appreciate that she didn't try to sell me all the products she used.
I like Neroli a lot and I'll definitely be back to this location. Parking is excellent here, and it's in the same shopping center as a Sendiks. I definitely like this location best.

"A good man might be hard to find, but a good hairdresser is next to impossible." This completely explains how I feel about my recent visit with Shauna! I have struggled for years finding a stylist who is great with color and also knows how to layer long hair. I always seem to find one or the other. She did an amazing job taking my hair from a washed out ombre to a darker color for fall.
I have pretty straight, fine hair. I'm always looking to make my hair look thicker/fuller and often wear clip in extensions. Shauna did a great job layering my hair so the extensions blend well. I LOVE my new hair and will definitely be back to see Shauna again soon!

Looking for a new Stylist is like looking for a new pair of shoes. You want to make sure, on the first try, you get the perfect match. That's how I feel about my Stylist, Shauna! Not only is she one of the most knowledgeable stylists I know, but she pays attention to detail. She knows exactly what would and wouldn't look good and is completely honest. Yes, the customer is always right, but if you don't want to end up looking like Medusa, I say be wrong and relish in that moment. Neroli as a whole, is a fantastic establishment.
Their staff are always willing to help and you feel pampered as soon as you walk in the door. Thank you, Shauna, for making me feel like Cinderella with both her fabulous shoes on!

I have been going to Neroli in Brookfield for probably.10+ years for various salon services and I just absolutely love it. Now, I am totally bias because I refuse to go to other salons that aren't Neroli or the Aveda Institution, so I think it is the best, but it really is the only one I have experienced. That being said, the service at the front desk has always been pleasant, the tea and infused water they offer is delicious, the changing rooms, bathrooms, and steam showers always clean, and the relaxation room is always.relaxing.
I love that you can spend all damn day there between one to two services, a complimentary foot soak, time in the relaxation room, steam shower, and a make-up touch up. Here are the people I would recommend for various services. 1. Shauna for your hair stylist. JUST DO IT. Not only is she friendly and engaging, she has always cut my hair perfectly.
She doesn't scrub at my scalp, or burn it with hot water. She has NEVER combed out one of my earrings, which is a huge deal. She cuts and styles my hair the way I want it and offers suggestions that have always turned out. She is a steal in price for the service you get 2. Jen for your masseuse. Again, just a great personality, and I have been a customer of hers for a while now.
She is both powerful and gentle at the same time. She really listens to your pain and responds appropriately. I have a real messed up body from sports and stress and she doesn't shy away from telling me the truth and helping me heal. She has always given me suggestions on how I can help myself outside of her appointments and I completely trust her.
You definitely need that when someone is working on something as delicate and getting the knots out of your neck 3. Ashley as your waxer. The sweetest disposition for the gnarliest job. She is great that completely tearing out your hair while calming discussing every day life with you. Frankly, I think it is hilarious. I have never had a bad wax at Neroli and the waxer I used to see, I think she moved.
But Ashley has been a great replacement and I cannot wait to be back. And she tolerates my copious amount of swearing, which is a plus. Overall, everything has always been lovely, which is way I spend all my extra cash there. OH and they have been great with my pre-wedding pampering too.
