First time going here and it was great. My stylist was running behind and she called me to inform me with plenty of time before my appointment. She had good knowledge with curly hair which can be difficult to find!

Super friendly staff! They listened to what I wanted and got me in the same day even though i was never there before. I got a haircut and they washed my hair as well and it was only like 35 dollars. Will definitely go back.

After the 4th time trying my last salon I gave up on them and gave Dovini a try and oh my! Soooo happy with the results! Josylynn did a amazing job on my detailed cut!. She was sweet and thorough when asking what I was desiring. I have found it difficult to find someone who understood what I wanted in the details of layers in my bob cut. For some reason Noone could get it right until her! Moving forward I will never stray.would even stalk if she ever moved. Thanks again! See you in 8 weeks! Lynn

Joselynn colored and cut my hair and did exactly what I wanted. She took the time to listen to me and told me what colors were achievable. I feel great and left really happy. I will most definitely be back!

I get many compliments on my cut and people asking me where I get my haircut. I usually have the same person (Merita) do my hair, but have had others in the salon and have always had a consistently great job.

As a customer of Salon Dovini for 15+ years I always walk away feeling satisfied and beautiful. They have excellent quality stylists, and their place is always clean. Plus, I LOVE their scented hot towel they wrap around your face when washing your hair. During COVID they have made safety measures by requiring masks for everyone, which was the deciding factor for me since feeling safe is important during this time.

Their prices are fair to the quality of service they bring. With Urban Joe's Cafe right next door (great food, friendly staff) this pocket of consumerism is great for West Allis. This is a small business you should support!

LOVE this salon! Very professional, friendly and my stylist, Marita does an awesome job making me look my best with her cutting and styling skills. Been going there for years and never had a bad cut or color. always very happy!

Glad and relieved I found this place! The previous salon I went to just couldn't get it right. For some reason my stylist could never deliver on the haircut I requested. When I walked into Salon Dovini Emma seemed to be able to read my mind right away and worked her magic to give me the exact look I was going for! It overall felt like a successful experience especially because she asked to take pictures of me at the end! I will be going back for a second haircut and hopefully all haircuts to come!

Emma is The very best! She cuts, colors, styles my hair just as I requested. Plus is only 5 minutes from home!

I was in need of highlights and the place I had gone to was booked up for a month so I began to check around and after reviewing yelp and google came across Dovini. Went to the website and looked at the staff and chose Nikki because I figured someone with beautiful blonde hair would understand what I was looking for. May sound strange, but that's just how I looked at it.

I came a little early and was taken right away. Nikki was very nice and got to work fast. While they find out what you are wanting they give you a quick shoulder massage. Honestly I wasn't sure what the heck was going on and it seemed a bit rushed so not very relaxing. Wasn't until she was done that it dawned on me what she was doing (lol) I asked many questions and she responded with good explanations.

I felt comfortable and she was very efficient while doing the foils. At the shampoo station you are offered a hot towel for your face when they shampoo you and I was all into that, felt good on such a chilly day. Back in the chair she gave me a cut and I was leaving it up to her what she felt was best for my hair. I had like 4 removed to take off a lot of damage from past bleaching. Blown and straightened. Loved the color and my hair feels so soft. I've already booked my next visit Because I was so pleased with the service.

After all said and done I would recommend this salon to others. I'm extremely happy with Nikki. The only CON I would say was there was an extra charge included in my price that I was not aware of until paying regarding using a double batch of bleach for my hair. I feel that is something that should have been discussed prior to starting, not that it would have changed my mind about getting it done, just don't like the surprise at the end when paying, I feel that's bad practice. Now I know for future appointments at least.

After 15 years of seeing the same stylist, I found myself in need of a new one. I tried several in the area and was disappointed as they either did not know how to properly color, or they were shockingly unprofessional. I recently had my first appointment at Salon Dovini with Merita, and I couldn't be happier. The salon was stylish and clean, every staff member was polite and professional, and Merita was a wizard with my hair. The bonus was an unexpected back massage and a warm towel. I will be a repeat client and I would recommend Merita and Salon Dovini any day.

Monika had been doing my hair and when she suggested chunky all over highlights I was worried because I never had them before, but I decided to go for it. She gave me the option of leaving them blonde or thinking them but I decided leaving them the blonde they were and it turned out terrific and had alot of compliments plus they lasted approximately 6 months! Even with my outgrowing silver hair, it blended well! She is kind and I also have had my eyebrows waxed by Monika.

I've been going here for 3 years now and I've always been astonished by the work my stylist there (Nikki) has done. Nikki has consistently provided helpful advice and insite about hair styles and colors I've wanted to try out over the past few years and I don't see myself going anywhere else in the near future.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER! If I could give Monika/this Salon a zero I would. My husband & I had our stylist move and Monika got good reviews. She BUTCHERED his hair so much that everyone laughed at him. We've spent 3 days fixing his uneven sideburns & a curve on ONE side of his head from the electric razor she used (even though he said not to shave it and texture/razor cut it).

He said she saw a full picture and completely ignored him until it was too late. Then finished and ran to the counter and left him to pick up his stuff. He is so embarrassed. My husband is so handsome and confident but hides his hair/face now. DO NOT GO HERE OR TO MONIKA!

Ive been bouncing from stylist to stylist since Ive moved back to Milwaukee and never have been fully satisfied, until now! I cannot stop looking in the mirror. My stylist was Monika and she was patient and really took her time to make sure I got the results I wanted. Good conversation and a drink while I was being pampered. A little pricey but well worth it, ill definately be back.

Wonderful salon, Monica was amazing! She fit me in when my stylist called in sick. She listened to what I wanted, added her own opinion, and The end result was more than I could've expected! Her spunky personality and warm smile definitely brightened my day! I will be back and you should try her too! Personal service, light massage before service, tea, warm towel offered, wonderful shampoo. I really can't say enough! Thank you Monica! See you Saturday for a style!:))

I badly needed my roots touched up so I went online and looked for something close to home and found Salon Dovini. Used their online booking and it was so easy. They called to confirm my appt the day before so I wouldn't forget. Cathy was my hairdresser and she was great. She listened to everything I said and took it into consideration. My hair turned out great and the prices were very reasonable!

You get a mini back massage as you're telling your stylist what you want done and then when they're shampooing your hair you have the option of a hot towel on your face to relax you. They offered a beverage while I let the color sit too. Wonderful little salon in downtown West Allis. I'll definitely be back!

I would definitely go back for hair cut and color Nikki did a great job on my hair she also did my eyebrows I've never seen them look so good.

I got a mani/pedi here before a wedding I was in and Jason (it's been a week so the name might be off) was amazing. I was the only one getting nails done so I was worried it would be awkward, but it wasn't. We had great conversations and my nails got tons of compliments! I also appreciated that he told me if I chipped a nail before the wedding that I could stop by and he would fix it. Thanks! Also for reference about 95% of the polish there is OPI.

I've been going for several years now, and I can't recommend it enough. My stylist is Monika, who is so friendly and talented that I always have a wonderful time visiting her, and I always leave overjoyed with my hair! She's gentle, caring, and attentive, and I can't imagine having my hair done anywhere else or by anyone else! I've tried several wonderful products in stock there over the years, and been very happy with all of them.

They are also an Aveda salon, which has been great. There are lovely little perks like a mini massage when you come in, a fantastic hot towel for your face during your shampoo, soda, water, and coffee on offer, up-to-date magazines, and other fun things like an exfoliating scrub for your hands. :- I've also gotten a few facials at the attached spa, which are equally wonderful. Did I mention the prices are on point too? A really special place, a gem. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Salon, ,D ovini it's the best place to go for you hair and nails! Excellent service always welcomed! I'm doing my hair for almost 12 years at this salon. I'm very happy with my color and cut! And I wouldn't change my hair stylist Merita! She rocks and know exactly how I want my cut an color!

Do not go here. I called for an appointment and was running 15 minutes behind life happens right? When I arrive the hair stylist reminds me that I'm late.just started off rude. Then there were no books for me to choose a hair cut style from. Then the stylists rushes through my hair and gives me a general layer cut. She then dries it. DONE. No styling what so ever.

She didn't even have the courtesy to blow out my hair and style it so that I could see the type of layers she gave me. Instead she dried it and slapped it with a flat iron because that was the fastest way for this LAZY stylist. I then look in the mirror furious because I specifically said I wanted volume not a flat look. She then tells me because I was 15 minutes late she doesn't have "time" to give me full service.

Well then you should have rescheduled me. Then the manager comes over and reminds me I was late. Didn't even apologize or care that I was unhappy with my hair. Didn't even offer options to fix my hair. Just RUDE it's no wonder her staff is rude she is even WORSE! I then become super upset and because of their rudeness and HORRIBLE service I refused to pay.

The manager then said "yeah everyone wants a free ride" I'm sorry you were going to charge me $27.00. Really do you think I can't afford $27.00? You should pay me for going through such a horrible experience. The manager has a terrible attitude and so does her staff. DO NOT GO HERE. I wouldn't give it one star. Total joke.

I have had a really great experience on both of my visits to Salon Dovini (and now I'm officially hooked!). My fiance and I had scheduled our engagement photo shoot for Black Friday and with all of the holiday excitement (and my constant work travel), I completely forgot to book my hair/makeup appointment. Salon Dovini is a few blocks from my apartment - and I stopped in there in a frantic frizzy haired mess and asked if there was ANY way I could get in for a last minute hair/makeup appointment.

They were so very accommodating and calmed my panic immediately! Monika was my stylist and really took the time to listen to me. And in the end, my hair and makeup looked fantastic (and at what a great price too!). Monika helped me to look like a "prettier version of me." In fact at one point in time during our engagement shoot, our photographer stopped us to find out who did my makeup because of how great it looked (and yes, the pictures turned out awesome!).

The salon itself is on the smaller side (only a handful of chairs), had a nice vibe, everyone was friendly (staff and customers), and the shampoo chairs are super comfortable (bonus points!). I have since visited one more time - for a regular hair cut. Monika really listened to me, my haircut was great, and I am a happy customer (with great hair!).
